Style to Stop: Jessica White’s See-Through Mess at Carnegie Hall

Excuse my language, but what in the Purple Rain shirt wearing, lace loving, baby doll hell is she wearing!?
When you think about getting dressed up for a night at the illustrious Carnegie Hall, I guess I just assumed most people would want to rock some sort of gown or upscale dress of some sort. But no, when model Jessica White thought about going to Carnegie Hall for Jay-Z’s much lauded performance on Monday, she opted for something see-through. Like, all over. This lace jumpsuit with its many frills, high neckline and designs could have actually rivaled all the hoopla over Beyoncé’s arrival back into the public eye after birthing baby Blue. She kept it pretty gangster in the outfit, opting not to cover her nipples with some sort of tape (or a bra for that matter), and rocked white underwear underneath just to be ten times bolder.
On top of that, White wore a big gold and white belt, a small black purse, and strappy, chunky white heels. The hair stayed bone straight and the lip was an electric red. I would applaud her for trying to be brave, but there’s just something a little tacky about trying to be THIS daring at Carnegie Hall. She’s gorgeous, we can clearly see that, but I don’t think anybody really needed to see everything she was given by God (and by whoever she got her underwear from). It’s like an ’80s ensemble that could have gone right in the ’80s, but just was a little too much for today. Nice try Jess, but next time, at least put a bra on. Or better yet, just put some clothes on in general, boo.
