I’m not really sure what kind of response Benzino was expecting when he released his ridiculous diss track about Joseline Hernandez titled, “Smashed Da Homie,” but it definitely wasn’t the one that he received. Yesterday Stevie J took to his Twitter page to blast his former friend for disrespecting his lady and as to be expected, his response was pretty harsh.

After being verbally assaulted by his former friend, Benzino announced via his Twitter page he will be quitting Love & Hip Hop Atlanta because he values his friendships more than he does his slot on the show, but not before getting into verbal cat fight with Stevie.

This entire situation is a hot mess.

Another week, another 60 minutes worth of foolery to discuss. Yesterday’s episode of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta was full of surprises. People we forgot about returned, somebody turned up pregnant, somebody else has a new man while another person’s relationship is on the rocks once again. Ready or not, Eve is back and she’s been looking pretty amazing these days. She’s been making her rounds, doing photoshoots and interviews to promote her new album, Lip Lock, her first album since 2002′s Eve-Olution. She did try and put out an album between the 11 years that she’s been on hiatus, and unfortunately it got shelved because the execs her label weren’t feeling it: “I was supposed to put out an album after “Tambourine, which was 2004, 2006, but it got shelved. I think my album wasn’t what the execs wanted and they just put it on the shelf.”

So knowing that, Eve had to battle for a few years to get away from Interscope, and after signing another bad deal, she had to battle for another year to get out of that contract, and she’s finally settled and released new music on her own independent label, From The Rib Music.

The 34-year-old rapper, who now lives in London with her man Maximillion Cooper, sat down with Wendy Williams to talk about more than just music, including love, babies, and DMX:

On whether or not DMX is on her new album and how she feels about his public struggles:

“He’s not on this album, but I love X. We don’t talk or call each other, anything like that…I love him, I love him.

When Wendy asked Eve if she watched DMX’s appearance on Iyanla: Fix My Life, this is what she had to say:

“Poor X. I didn’t watch it. I don’t watch anything actually. He’s been on a few things, I just don’t watch it. I can’t….But if he ever needed me, I’d be there.”

Speaking on her penchant for dating “nothing but money,” including millionaire Maximillion Cooper:

“You know what, there’s a certain lifestyle I think that I want to live. I’m going to do it on my own. I work hard. I work my butt of. But at the same time, I just, I don’t want to be with somebody I got to take care of. I’ll do it on my own, it doesn’t matter with the man though.”

On her past messing with Stevie J in the late ’90s and early ’00s and responding to the idea of it being “craziness”:

“It was. I think as ladies, we’ve all had the unfortunate…ugh [turns up face]. I can’t even continue it. I was young, it was what it was. God is good. I’m here where I am and I’m happy in love.”

The state of the rap game right now, including  her thoughts on the “femcees” out currently:

“I think there’s a lot of really cool girls out right now. I wish there were more girls, that’s my only complaint. But I think Nicki’s doing her thing, I think Azealia Banks is doing her thing. It’s Angel Haze. There’s a lot of girls coming up. We just need more.”

So what about marriage and babies next? Is she ready?

“Oh, it’s time to pop something out. Let me not pretend, okay!”

To put it simply, Stevie J is scum and think he’s God. Sorry to break it to you Stevie J, but you’re just ratchet. He has no respect for women and makes everything a joke (remember his strip club threats?) I feel sorry for Mimi and Joseline. They have a problem on their hands forever.

Last night, K. Michelle showed her natural behind on the fourth episode of LHHATL, while Kirk and Scrappy just decided to watch nekkid booties at the strip club all while swapping marriage advice. And let’s not forget the love triangles between Stevie J., Joseline, and Benzino, and Traci Steele, DJ Baby Drew, and a strange woman at his home. Bottom line: there was a lot going on and we’re still early into the season. Check out what went down.

During season one of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, we saw scorned baby mama MiMi Faust ditch her spiel about being hurt and angered over her then-boyfriend Stevie J’s filthy philandering ways, to talk of getting even by demanding a percentage of the money he makes on his artist and side-chick Joseline Hernandez. We never did find out if Stevie actually upheld his end of the bargain, but during a recent interview with Mara of 4UMF, MiMi claimed that Stevie calls her over to come and get her cut whenever Joseline drops money off after a show. She also spoke on her harshly criticized maid photoshoot. Check out some of what she had to say below.

On what she was thinking when she posed for those “s*xy” maid photos: 

 “She [Joseline] wants to call me a maid in every scene; she’s called me a maid and ‘Molly the maid’. So I figure let me capitalize off of it. I did a photo shoot, got t-shirts printed up. But I’m not a maid in that sense – I’m made as I’m a made woman, m-a-d-e. I’m made that way, so I have my own business, I have for 13 years, I’m an entrepreneur, I’m a business woman. So she can joke all she wants to about me being a maid; I’m doing real Shyte, what are you doing girl?”

On rumors that she’s engaged in a threesome with Stevie and Joseline:

“That’s a complete fabrication, a complete bold-faced lie. None of that is true, none of it. Girl (laughs), Mediatakeout is the devil. For some reason, whoever is over that just has it out for me. I don’t think they’ve ever printed one good story about me, ever. Always something crazy.”

On Joseline hinting that the threesome rumors were true: 

“She’s good at that. She’s good at saying half of something to make people believe this is what it is. She does it all the time. She’ll say he bought her all this stuff and put it up on Instagram to make people think he did this. He wouldn’t have bought her anything, she would’ve bought it herself, but she’s does stuff like that all the time, so it doesn’t surprise me.”

On if she’s getting a percentage of what Stevie makes off of Joseline:

“Yes.

Hold on. When she goes on the road, and comes home and drops him off money, he tells me to come pick it up. ‘Come get this money ma. She just got back and dropped it off. Come get this money.’ I’ll be right there, thank you very much sir.”

Just yesterday, one of my coworkers said that she was over Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, that she’d outgrown their foolishness. I was happy for her growth but I’m so not ready to give up the outright train wreck that LHHATL is and that delicious ratchetness it’s brought to my life. Maybe I’ll get there one day but that night certainly wasn’t last night. And I’m glad about it. Check out some of the more ridiculous moments from the episode.
