St. Elmo Village: The Creative Oasis of Los Angeles
St. Elmo Village is an locus in the middle of Los Angeles that has come to represent a creative oasis for nearby Black and Latino residents. Founded in 1969, the Village offers workshops, an annual Drums, Blues, and Jazz Festival and overall creative space for those seeking artistic and spiritual nourishment.
