Bow Wow’s daughter, Shai, and the Harris family aren’t the only ones getting cute this week. Thought I’d share this photo of Isabella Freeman, the daughter of “My Wife and Kids” star Jennifer Freeman and her ex-husband, Earl Watson. The cutie patootie was spotted shopping at Whole Foods in her denim jumpsuit, pink sandals, and huge floral headband. And my eyes could be tweaking, but I think she’s pushing around a child-size cart. Isn’t she adorable?

Speaking of adorable kids, Bow Wow (who received a lot of heat last week for child support issues and his financial situation) and Joie Chavis’s daughter, Shai, was seen having fun with her grandmother, Teresa Caldwell, this past weekend The little one in her floral dress and bow headband was in vogue with her granny, and Teresa even put her pic side-to-side with her son’s baby picture. As she says: “The same face.” I can see it!

And T.I in his brightest sweater, Tiny and their large family got together for a photoshoot with InTouch where they channeled the Cosbys. With the exception of Zonnique of course, T.I’s genes are very strong in these kids. Did they do the Cosby’s justice?

Someone must have told Bow Wow being a deadbeat dad isn’t a good look for BET because he hopped on Philly’s Hot 107.9 the other day to clear up the drama surrounding the so-called Mr. 106&Park. A lot of folks have been giving him the side-eye about claiming to be broke in court last week in order to pay a certain amount in child support, leaving people wondering 1) what kind of daddy are you, and 2) where did your money go?

Bow answered all those questions and more with radio host Q Deezy, telling him:

“Here is the honest truth. I felt like I wanted to be on child support. I felt like that was the best thing for our situation.  I’m sure there’s a lot of men out there listening and their baby mama don’t like the new chick, you know what I’m saying. So for me to move on with my life and let her know that everything is still gravy, I felt like the best thing for us to do was to go about it that way. Which I love it because its confirmed money to my daughter.  So I’m fine with it and I’ve wanted to be on [child support] so that I can live my life and not feel like I’m attached to a woman or that a woman got screens on me. I don’t like that. I don’t play that.”

But is he on the financial struggle bus (you know with only $1,500 in his bank account like he told the judge last week)?

“Hell no! You know men can put themselves on child support, right? Sometimes, it’s worth doing it so that you can have that freedom. Ain’t nobody wanting to be dealing with a woman who keeps blowing you up. I’m happy about it and now she can live her life peacefully. She can do whatever she wants to do and date whomever she wants to date and for me, I’m just going to continue on with my career and living life. I’m happy as can be….For the record, I have no issues with my BM (baby mama) not one.”

Wondering whether Bow Wow is just all talk, Q Deezy also asked him whether he still has unprotected sex. Thankfully the rapper said no:

“One and done. I learned my lesson. I just want to let all them young fellas out there know that there’s nothing wrong with having a kid but just make sure you have it with the right one. But I love mine and I love my situation but if you don’t want no headache and no issues definitely wrap that thang up.”

On another note, Q Deezy also asked Bow Wow the other question everyone has been wondering about his new gig, which is what happens when Ciara comes on the show. According to him:

“Ima just do what I do. Ima be Bow.”

Remember when the sister of Bow Wow’s baby mama asked him when he was going to publicly announce he’s a deadbeat dad? Well I think he just did. Yesterday, we were all happy for little Shad Moss after learning he got a full-time gig on “106&Park” but some of that excitement dimmed, for me at least, when word of his child support situation became public.

Before Bow Wow officially became a BET employee Monday he was handling some legal business, attending a court hearing with the mother of his 1-year-old daughter, Joie Chavis, to determine how much child support he should pay. Eventually, TMZ says, Bow Wow volunteered to pay $3,000 a month in child support which sounds awfully admirable, but when you look at this situation a little more closely, something is a bit fishy.

Bow Wow told the judge … he makes $4,000 a month working as an employee at Cash Money Records, and that’s it.  He testified he leases a Jeep and has a grand total of $1,500 in his checking account.

So here’s the question — if he makes $4,000 a month before taxes, how can he afford to pay $3,000 a month in child support?

We’ll here’s an answer … After the court hearing was concluded, Bow Wow was officially named host of BET’s long-running and influential hip hop show, “106 & Park.”  Bow Wow made no mention of this in court.

The judge will have some tough questions for Bow Wow in December, when the court rules on a permanent child support order.

In the meantime, the judge also ordered Bow Wow to pay $11,500 in back child support.

Now there’s no way a baby needs more than $3,000 a month to survive, but for Bow Wow to volunteer such a large amount means he’s likely about to rake in some silly money for his new hosting gig and those stacks are nothing to him. I’m not mad at him for that, but what judge thought it made sense that a man claiming to only bring in $4,000 in income each month, with only $1,500 supposedly in the bank, would openly volunteer to pay $3,000 of that to his baby mama? C’mon now. Bow Wow is clearly protecting some of his assets, which is cool, but I am concerned about that $11,500 in back support he’s been ordered to pay. It sounds like little sister Najah might have been telling the truth about how Bow Wow  ”aint never bought a wipe, diaper, or formula.”#NoBueno.

And in other cuteness, Shai Moss, the daughter of Bow Wow and Joie Chavis, turned one at the end of last month. Pictures were put out recently of her cute birthday celebration, which included face painting, clowns and more. Nice to see mom and dad getting along so well and to see how big Shai is getting! While it took a while for little Bow Weezy to fall into the fatherly role after a dramatic paternity issue with the mother, Joie Chavis, (it seems they’re all good now), the rapper has been a doting and proud papa! And who wouldn’t want to be to such an adorable little girl? Shai Moss (a play off of Shad, Bow Wow’s actual name) should be about one now, and dad’s clearly going to have to chase the boys away because she’s already one of the cutest Hollywood babies.

And on top of being awesome, he’s become quite the young style icon in the baby world.
