Make It Last! Celebrity Couples We Wanted To Work
Although they broke up and moved on with other people, we just can’t seem to get over these high-profile celebrity relationships that we thought were a match made in heaven. Here are 15 celebrity couples that we wish could have stood the test of time.
Kanye and Alexis
Before there was Kanye West and Kim Kardashian or even Kanye and Amber Rose, there was Kanye and Alexis. The Chicago rapper/producer met Alexis Phifer back in 2002 and the cute couple dated on and off for four years before West finally popped the question. After an 18-month whirlwind engagement the two went their separate ways citing his hectic touring schedule as the cause. West dated then-unknown model Amber Rose before settling down with the reality show superstar who is now pregnant with their first child.

Mary J. Blige to Star in ‘Rock of Ages’
It may seem odd for the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul Mary J. Blige to star in a film about Rock & Roll, but the R&B songstress says she couldn’t be more excited to be a part of a film with such an all-star cast.
“Rock of Ages” is based on the Tony-nominated Broadway musical about a small-town girl and a big-city boy who meet while pursuing their dreams of making it as an actress and a rock star in Hollywood. Some of the biggest actors in the industry are lined up to star in the movie musical, including Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, and Paul Giamatti. Here’s what Mary J. had to say about her role:
“It’s a classic 80′s rock film that I’m so blessed to be in. It features an all-star cast, which I’m still pinching myself about working with. I play a Gentleman’s Club owner, who inspires the women working there and encourage them in their life journeys.”
Check out the trailer and tell us what you think? Is this something you’d check out to see Mary’s performance?

Russell Brand & James Marsden Talk About the Adorable Movie ‘Hop’
Madame Noire caught up with Russell Brand (Despicable Me, Get Him to the Greek) and James Marsden (X-Men, Enchanted) to talk about their new movie Hop, a story about E.B., son of the Easter Bunny, and his hilarious adventure to save the beloved holiday. EB is something of a rebel and would rather be a rockstar drummer than be the Easter Bunny…at first anyway. The movie is a mix of CG-animation and live action and full of jokes the whole family can enjoy. Can you handle the adorableness that is EB?
Check out what Brand and Marsden have to say! Hop in! (pun intended)
