A few media outlets have been making some pretty shocking allegations about 90′s rapper Foxy Brown. It appears that a snitch contacted one site with claims that they overheard Foxy, whose real name is Inga Marchand, dogging out a rapper, who is believed to be Jay-Z at a baby shower. According to the source, Foxy told one guest that Jay took her virginity when she was 15 years old and gave her an STD. Besides the obvious, this was also a huge problem because Jay would’ve been 24 years old at the time.

The source went on to claim that Foxy blabbed about Jay being a down low brother who’s very much into transexuals and that she was actually contacted by one of his alleged transexual partners. The allegations also included some Bey shade, talk of a threesome between Foxy, Jamie and Jay and a sex tape, in addition to chatter about a secret relationship between Jay and retired NBA player Larry Johnson.

Foxy recently caught wind of the report and she’s heated. She told TMZ that hearing of the false reports made her sick to her stomach.

“The atrociousness of this story sickened me to my stomach. Any and everyone involved will be contacted by my attorney. In all my years in the music industry, these are the most disgusting and disrespectful allegations I’ve ever experienced. This fictitious story … with NO audio, visual or written interview, clearly was concocted with malicious intent.”

She added that Jay has been nothing but a great family friend and that Bey was also kind to her.

“Jay has only been wonderful to me and my family, a great friend throughout all the years I’ve known him and we had nothing but great success as a team.”

“Beyonce, his wife, has always been gracious and sweet to me … I will NOT let any undercover hater create discord and disrespect my name and reputation.”

“This disrespect will NOT be tolerated.”

You know the saying, black folk are just like crabs in a barrel. The minute one of us starts our ascent to the top, here come 3 or 4 of us trying to pull that person down. If you’ve been black for more than a day, you know that the crabs in a barrel saying, concept, philosophy is more than just a joke. It really exists. There are some black people who would much rather have you struggle alongside them than reach new heights.

Recently Hollywood Street King reported that NeNe Leakes was in more financial trouble, so much trouble that her Bentley had been repossessed around Thanksgiving . Well, bad news travels fast and soon NeNe heard about this so-called repossession and took to Twitter to respond to the claims.

Part of me agrees with NeNe. If people are out here trying to slander your name with false repossession rumors, then yeah, they probably don’t want to see you succeed. As much as NeNe is not my favorite person, I can say that I wouldn’t wish repossession on anyone. I’m sure it can be a really embarrassing ordeal, especially when you know it will be reported on blogs and maybe even national media.

Where NeNe and I disagree is why people can’t exactly feel comfortable about her success. Perhaps it has more to do with the way NeNe has earned her success that people may have an issue with. When you’re famous for being catty, picking fights and calling other women out for what you deem as tacky is what people have an issue with.

Personally, I’ve resigned to let NeNe cook. Initially, I liked watching her on the show because I appreciated her realness. But eventually her realness, started sounding more and more rude. So I stopped watching the Real Housewives. Just because I no longer watch the show, doesn’t mean I want NeNe to fall on her face. I sincerely enjoy NeNe on “The New Normal,” because she’s acting and she’s funny there and I can appreciate that.

Over the weekend, news broke that that “complete makeover” Shaunie alluded to for the “Basketball Wives LA” cast was pretty much a go. Producers were reportedly said to be firing Gloria and Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo, and Brooke Bailey, keeping the crazy that is Jackie Christie, Draya, and cast newbie Bambi for good measure.

By now, the news, of course, has reached the cast members and two of them seem to have very different reactions to the pink slip rumor. Confirming the report that she was getting fired over her secret summer wedding, Gloria seems to not be shocked at all by this information. Brooke, on the other hand, is crying BS.

TMZ caught up with Gloria to ask how she felt about the news and she said:

“I kind of had a feeling because producers and I weren’t really on the same page from the get-go…

“It was a conscious decision not to put my relationship out there since day one and I guess my real life wasn’t as exciting as it was supposed to be.”

At least she knows she’s boring. As far as VH1 producers being mad they weren’t invited to tape the wedding, Gloria said “There were a lot of people who weren’t invited.” Interestingly, Gloria says the network has been sending out constant emails telling cast members they aren’t actually fired but she figures that’s just a ploy to get the ladies to attend the reunion and cause drama more than 1 million people would be interested in watching. So far she hasn’t decided whether she’s down for that or not.

In video vixen land, Brooke Bailey has a totally different take on this rumor. In an interview with Hip Hollywood she simply said of the news:

“If they weren’t rumors talking about me then I wouldn’t be doing my job right. I mean, it’s a rumor. I’m definitely confident that I’ll be returning for anything that I wanna return to.”

Translation: If I’m fired I’ll be able to spin this and claim I just didn’t want to come back.

Meanwhile, VH1 has finally put out a statement on their blog, saying:

“The time has come to set the record straight. We can officially tell you all that despite the widespread reports, none of them are true. There have been absolutely no casting decisions made regarding the next season of the show.”

Hmmm. Perhaps Gloria should settle down then.

The connected nature of the world is blurring the line between our public and private personas. Does privacy even exist anymore? This phenomenon can be seen in how celebrities are viewed. The public balks when they withhold the slightest detail about themselves. But, with personal and professional lives feeding off one another like never before, it is important to keep some things sacred.

Raven-Symone, a child star of Cosby Show fame that has since retired to the Broadway stage, became the topic of discussion when she responded to rumors surrounding her sexuality that were first ignited by the National Enquirer. Sources told the tabloid that Symone was living with a female love interest in her New York City apartment.

Raven took to Twitter to respond saying,  “My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m dating’s to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life,” an odd choice of words for someone who makes a living in the limelight. She’s not the only star to remain aloof about her sexual orientation. Queen Latifah has repeatedly told publications that her personal life is personal and she wouldn’t speak on such rumors.

Many articles on Raven’s situation focused on whether she should fess up to the rumors either way. Even when dealing with matters not as intimate as sexuality, the public scoffs when a public figure is not forthcoming about their personal life. Beyoncé’s decision to hide her marriage and go without her wedding ring for months on end only stoked the media’s interest in her marital status.

For celebrities, work-life balance takes on heightened importance. Maintaining a boundary between their personal and public life is an attempt to keep some part of their lives personal and real, without being tainted by public opinion. The average person requires the same courtesy, if on a smaller scale.

PEOPLE may not have gotten the first pics of Blue Ivy, but they’re definitely getting all the dirt on Beyonce’s pregnancy. While Bey hasn’t talked to anyone about her famous “folding dress” debacle or talk that she had a surrogate, she did finally address those rumors in her recent spread with the magazine, after being named the “World’s Most Beautiful Woman 2012,” and she even had mama Tina along to back her up.

We all remember how Solange went off on Twitter about all the negativity surrounding Blue Ivy’s birth but Bey says she wasn’t nearly as upset as her little sister.

“That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy,” she told PEOPLE in its latest issue. “[I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?’”

Mama Knowles was more in the Solange camp, telling the magazine:

“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”

The clothing designer also spoke on all the fake baby bump rumors that arose after Beyonce’s famous Australian interview when her stomach appeared to fold flat as a pancake when she sat down.

“It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold?” Tina said, seemingly irritated. “Oh my gosh, so stupid.”

Beyonce, who’s obviously more adept at dealing with people throwing shade at everything she does, also said the reports that her and Jay-Z’s security demands upset the hospital where Blue Ivy was born are also “so crazy” and “ridiculous.” And while the rest of the world was going through fake baby bump/surrogacy rumor mania, Beyonce wasn’t paying much of it any mind.

  “There was so much love and well wishes from all over the world — it made it easier to deal with the stupid rumors,” she said.

Well, there we have it, straight from the singer’s mouth. Are you finally convinced  Beyonce birthed Blue Ivy?

I think we all sort of know Kanye is looking for his own Beyonce, the way he supports Jay and Bey’s relationship, but somebody jumped the gun when they claimed Kanye thinks his new lady, Kim Kardashian, is his own version of the R&B queen.

Speaking out for the first time on any of the dating rumors, Kanye told US Magazine:

“…of course there are a lot of media inaccuracies surrounding this past couple of weeks [since he dropped the "Theraflu single], especially the ‘She’s my Beyonce’ quote. I would never compare anyone to my friend’s wife.

“Come on now, that doesn’t even sound like me. If I don’t say something in a rap or on Twitter, it’s not true.”

Alrighty then. I would like to note that Kanye says the “Beyonce” quote is an inaccuracy but was mum on rumors these two are dating at all. I guess the lyrics still stand: He’s in love with Kim. (I’m glad that ridiculous quote isn’t true though.)

In an interview with the magazine Gala, Jada Pinkett Smith finally opened up about all those rumors swirling around that she and Will Smith’s relationship is on the rocks. Rumors were flying that she had picked up a divorce lawyer, was cheating with Marc Anthony (who was a guest star on her now-canceled show, “HawthoRNe”), and that Will even walked in on the two getting it in (and allegedly ran away crying). Even the kids had to go in on a few people through Twitter over the rumors. Though they had their reps speak on the alleged split last year, Jada wanted the world to know in her interview, from her own mouth, that she ain’t going anywhere anytime soon:

“Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it’s us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it. Will and I know the truth. We’re waiting peacefully for the storm to blow over.”

“These rumors are completely untrue. I travel a lot because of my work, just like Will does… But our lifestyle hasn’t changed. Before we had the kids, we were already far away from each other quite often because of separate projects.”

Well this is interesting—and totally random. After 10 years of speculation, Morgan Freeman has finally decided to address rumors that he has been in a relationship with his step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, by saying the reports are completely false. According to TMZ, the actor put out a statement that reads:

“The recent reports of any pending marriage or romantic relationship of me to anyone are defamatory fabrications from the tabloid media designed to sell papers. What is even more alarming is that these fabrications are now being picked up by the legitimate press as well.”

I find it a little alarming that he’s just speaking out now. According to his rep, Morgan didn’t want to ”dignify these stories by commenting” but now that the “mainstream media” is picking up the story he felt compelled to say something. I get it, but I would think the time when the news first surfaced and E’Dena was only 17 and he was 64 would’ve been a good time, or when he divorced his wife and many assumed this affair was the reason would have been a suitable time as well. Nevertheless, now at 27 and 74, both Morgan and his step-granddaughter have decided to speak up. E’Dena released her own separate statement, saying:

“These stories about me and my grandfather are not only untrue, they are also hurtful to me and my family.”

I guess this is a situation where the saying better late than never applies. Something still seems a little off, though.

So maybe Shaq didn’t actually put Hoopz out of his house in a break up if “we’re fine” means we’re still together.

Shaq stopped by “Sway In the Morning” yesterday and when the hosts told him they reported on his breakup with Hoopz last week he wasn’t too happy. After getting off of his soapbox about false media reports, Sway asked whether rumors that him and his boo broke up were a lie and Shaq said:

“We’re doing good.”

And just in case we didn’t get his spiel about taking anyone else’s word for truth besides his the first time, he laid into the hosts again and then said:

“We’re fine, we’re good. period.”

I guess that means the woman he was seen with in Vegas for his b-day wasn’t really there either. Regardless, sounds like we have no choice but to believe these two are still going strong. What do you think?

Katy Perry wants the media to stop startin’ ish—although her actual words were much harsher. Yesterday, a few sites were abuzz because Katy seemed to be throwing a little shade at Beyonce when she talked about her upcoming collaboration with Rihanna on a BBC Radio show.

When Katy talked about the duet, which is barely in the works yet, she said this:

“I was telling her, you know that Eurythmics song with Aretha Franklin, Annie Lennox, ‘Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves’? That’s like the kind of song that I’d want to do instead of, like, ‘Hips Don’t Lie,’ which was still a great song by Shakira and Beyonce. I mean, not ‘Hips Don’t Lie,’ what’s that duet? ‘Beautiful Liar.’ ”

She added, “I loved it, but I definitely want to do something that is just kind of like, so iconic.”

Immediately people took their Beyonce loyalty to a new level and told Katy, essentially, don’t start nothin’ won’t be nothin,’ to which she responded:

“F*** all y’all . . . dat thinks I dissed anyone, puhlez,” she tweeted. “Get a life, cuz it’s not mine! #hoodratcominout. If ya ears are filled with wax it’s time to get a cleanse boo. Anywayz . . . (steps off box).”

I think I’m more concerned with her “hood rat” language than any potential shade, but I don’t think Katy was really trying to diss Beyonce. She just meant she wants a song that’s more classic and less cheesy, although word to the wise, Beyonce stans don’t play that.
