Just when you think you want to like 50 Cent, he says something a little crass, a little ignorant or a little random to make you roll your eyes at him again.

While I’m not the biggest fan of Rick Ross and his penchant for rapping about a lifestyle that’s not really his own, I definitely wouldn’t be as bold to say that the man faked a drive-by shooting, in Miami, on his 37th birthday. Especially since he ended up driving into a building with his girlfriend in the car. But I guess when you’re a man who has been shot nine times, you get a kick out of questioning other people’s run-ins with gun violence.

The shooting occurred at 5 a.m. on Monday morning, when Ross and his girlfriend, Shateria Moragne-el, were fired upon as they were driving home after his b-day festivities. To flee, Ross wound up crashing his car into an apartment building. As news was going out about the incident, on Twitter yesterday, Fiddy played the me-thinks-I-smell-a-liar game with Rick, claiming that because the rapper’s car was photographed with no bullet holes in it, chances are, he faked the whole shooting to get attention and to play into the whole lifestyle of a drug dealing gangsta that Ross often raps about.

After saying there were no holes in the car, 50 Cent posted a picture of Ross’ Rolls Royce after the incident, looking as though it had escaped all bullets that came its way. But pictures posted by different sites, including the Daily Mail, definitely show the car with bullet holes near the driver’s side. Plus, Fort Lauderdale police say that witnesses on the scene during the shooting claim that dozens of bullets were indeed fired at the car, but the rifle toting suspect luckily was having an off day and didn’t hit the rapper or Moragne-el.

Maybe, but I’m just the type of person who just hopes that individuals wouldn’t fake such a serious occurrence, but I think with all the threats that have been thrown his way from gangs, this shooting was the real deal. Either way, we’re just glad the big man and his lady are all right, and a little disturbed that Fiddy found the whole ordeal hahaha-worthy. But then again…this is 50 Cent we’re talking about.

If you’ve ever been awake really early on a Sunday morning, chances are you probably know who Pastor Creflo Dollar is. If you don’t, you should know that he’s the founder and pastor of World Changers Church International in Georgia, and depending on who you ask, he’s got an interesting reputation. He definitely gives a great word, but controversy has surrounded him for a while as people criticize him for living a bit too lavish and not allowing his church to be “financially transparent.” And there’s something about a pastor with the last name Dollar who owns a couple Rolls-Royces and a private jet that just rubs folks the wrong way, right? But now he’s got a bigger issue to deal with, as the 50-year-old was arrested this morning for allegedly attacking his 15-year-old daughter.

Dollar was arrested at his home in Fayetteville, Ga. and was charged with simple battery and cruelty to children according to WXIA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Atlanta. According to the report, their scuffle was over whether or not the young lady could attend a party. Somehow things spiraled out of control from a conversation to a full blown fight, because the report goes on to say that Dollar wound up choking her, threw her to the ground, punched her, and if that wasn’t enough, hit her with a shoe (With a shoe too??? Geez…). When police arrived, the young lady was said to have a scratch on her neck that was given during the altercation.

In defense of himself, Dollar admitted that he did “restrain” his daughter when she became very disrespectful to him, and in the process he spanked (yes, spanked) her and wrestled her to the floor after SHE hit HIM. But that was it. No punching or shoe beating. In the end, Dollar ended up going to magistrate court and posted bond this morning. We’ll have to wait and see where these charges might take him as time passes, but boy oh boy did he get caught up in some mess.

This is a pretty sad situation I must admit, and when you’re somewhat of a popular public figure who is known for having a somewhat suspect reputation for different reasons, this type of thing doesn’t help. If all that talk of the young woman being hit with a shoe and choked is true, then this man’s got some issues, but if this was just a tussle that went left and was exaggerated, it wouldn’t be the first time a parent got into a messy altercation with their child, so alas, you can’t be that hard on him. Maybe the tussles didn’t end up like this, but you get what I’m saying. Either way, I’m sure there will be some new and nosey faces in church this Sunday…

Fresh off my vacation to the Dominican Republic where I was treated like the royalty that I am not, when I came home and logged on to Twitter, I was surprised to see that the Ray J, “Ain’t that Brandy’s brother?” and Fabolous beef is all everyone is talking about. You’re probably like, not “Real Chance at Love” Ray J? or whatever they called that show (editor’s note: “For the Love of Ray J”). But yeah, I’m talking about Brandy’s brother!

Details are sketchy but apparently he and Brooklyn’s own rapper turned Twitter comedian Fabolous got into a scuffle this past weekend at The Palms in Las Vegas. Some say Fab headbutted Ray J, and Ray J claims he smacked Fab up, but who really knows what happened? Ray J called up the Breakfast Club fam, aka, the folks at Power 105.1 in New York, to speak his peace and in the process, he left us with possibly the most entertaining interview of all of 2011. I’m anti black-on-black crime so I won’t condone any violence between these two men, but the interview was pure comedy. Though I do I wish celebrities were using their voices for more productive reasons, like to bring attention to the Troy Davis situation in Georgia right now. But asking some celebrities to be conscious about what’s going on in our communities rather than what’s going on through Twitter might be a stretch! o_0

So let me break down a few things that are wrong with this beef:
