It hasn’t even been six months since Hollywood sweethearts Chris Brown and Rihanna officially confirmed their reunion to the world. After a tearful Rih Rih confessed that she still loved Chris and believed that he was her soulmate during an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter and Chris dropped his little homemade video about being in love with two women, romantic reconciliation between the two seemed inevitable.

After a slew of photos of Chris and Rih Rih that screamed coupledom began to surface and a series of their famous subtweets, Rihanna finally opened up about their relationship during a January interview, officially confirming their reunion.

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she said of her decision to get back with Chris.

Breezy echoed his Bajan boo-thang, confirming their reunion one month later at Elton John’s HIV foundation party following the Grammy Awards.

“We are really happy. We are back together. She is the most beautiful girl in the world,” the “Fine China” singer gushed.

Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on whether or not you’re “Team Chrianna”), round two of Chris and Rih Rih’s love affair was short-lived. In the wake of numerous break-up rumors, Chris confirmed to Australian radio show, 2Day’s that he and Rihanna are no longer an item.

“I’ve actually got three birthday parties scheduled, I got one in L.A., one in Vegas and one in New York so we can gon’ have fun, and I’m just trying to have, you know, the best time with my fans and all the people in the club,” he said of his planned birthday celebrations.

When asked if he would be celebrating with Rihanna he responded:

“Imma do it solo. I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thang, she on the road. It’s always gonna be love. I’m a grown man, just gotta fast forward.”

He went on to say that he still loves Rihanna, but being tied down to one person right now just isn’t practical.

“I’m always gonna love that person. I cant be focused on wife-ing someone that young. I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be.”

Even if you’re not, it’s coming to television and should be interesting.

If you’ll recall, last year, Rihanna invited 150 journalists and bloggers as well as 50 fans with her on a “quick” tour to support her album Unapologetic. It was called “777″ because she did seven shows in seven countries in seven days. Madness, right?

Right.

After only a couple of days, many of the people on the planes praised and slammed all the debauchery on the plane. Rihanna is well known for her heavy touring schedule so while it may not have been much for her, it proved a bit much for those who came along for the ride.

In the trailer for the documentary that airs on Monday, May 6th on Fox, you see some people doing “confessionals” in which they admit that it could be considered fun but it is a lot on the body.

You can hear Rihanna in a voiceover saying, “Why did I think this was a good idea?” That was probably the question on everyone’s mind, including the  air staff, because rumors swirled that tempers clashed quite often on the week-long trip.

Check out the documentary clip below. Will you be checking out “777?” Would you have joined in on that tour experience?

For many celebrities, a chunk of the bread and butter comes from side hustles as product spokespeople. And more companies are turning to a diverse group of celebs to serve as the face of their products. For example, we reported recently on new gigs for Olympic  gold medalist Gabby Douglas and astronaut Dr. Mae Jamison were just tapped as spokespeople for two separate major advertising campaigns. There have however been some notable campaigns using black spokespeople. We take a look at some of our favorite African-American celebrity spokespeople.

MAC RiRi WooRiRi Woo, the MAC lipstick shade created in collaboration with Rihanna, sold out online in three hours. During that time, “RiRi Woo” was trending on Twitter as customers complained of multiple failed attempts to get through to make the purchase.

The collaboration was announced in February. At the time, Jennifer Balbier, senior VP of global product development for MAC said Rihanna was insistent that “the color be suitable for every skin tone.”

For her part, Rihanna said she’s been using MAC products on tour for ages.

The next time the shade will be available will be in June. But for those with tickets to the Diamonds World Tour’s stop at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn (ahem!) you can buy them on-site at a MAC pop-up store that will be set up in the arena.

Last week, Rihanna added another accolade to her resume, becoming the first artist in the history of Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay chart to tally ten number one songs. No disrespect to Mariah Carey, who had at a handful of number ones before Billboard launched the chart in 1992, but, Rihanna’s achievement cements her status as the quintessential pop star of the 21st century.

Say she sings like a goat. Say she dances like she’s on the last five minutes of her shift. Pan her side projects. But fix your lips to say that Rihanna hasn’t mastered the business of music. The numbers don’t lie.

How is the Barbadian provocateur pulling off massive success in an industry changing so quickly even veterans have trouble keeping up? If you pay attention, she teaches lessons everyday. And we’re taking good notes.

Rihanna is going to try it again — and again. Even though her fashion collection for River Island got a lukewarm (to be kind) reception, the pop diva has announced two more instalments to come.

On her Instagram account, RiRi released photos of herself busy at work on her Autumn/Winter 2013 collaboration for the High Street chain River Island, reports Telegraph UK.

She captioned the shot above: “Me and my better half @adamselman in design mode!! We went to #WERK on the upcoming #RihannaForRIVERISLAND Autumn and Winter collections! No really, we took it there! Like its not fair that you could get this kinda s**t at #RIHverIsland.”

Selman is also her costume designer and the person behind many of the singer’s Bajan looks. At the unveiling of her first collection for the retailer (shown during London Fashion Week in February), he was the one Rihanna brought out to take a bow alongside her, notes the newspaper.

Although the collection, which hit stores back in March, was initially panned, the outfits, which include lots of slits, a denim dungaree crop top and dark wash, double-top jeans, and other items for the party girl in you, have been selling well.  The summer collection comes in May and will feature some of the floral-print designs originally shown in February.

Call It A Comeback? Lil Kim Drops It Low And Shows Fans She’s Still Got It At NYC Concert; Kicks It Backstage With Her “Wifey,” Rihanna

For anybody who was wondering, yes, Lil Kim does love her some catsuits. Preferably ones that are shiny and/or colorful and showcase her curves. But on another note, to answer another question, yes, Lil Kim can still rock the microphone like she never left it.

The pint-sized rapper had a show at the Gramercy Theater this past weekend for Hot 97, and for the packed house, she got everybody hype with a mix of her classic jams and some new joints she has done recently, including a song called “Twisted” that she has with her protege, Tiffany Foxx. Feeling the love, she took to her Twitter after the show to send her fans some love:

“Thank you to everyone who came out to the Gramercy Theater last night :) :) !!!!!! Y’all kept it #1hunnit.”

Word on the street is that she’s working on a new album, her first studio album since The unclothed Truth in 2005. When it finally hits stores, it will allegedly be something of a follow-up to her debut, called Hard Core 2: All Hail the Queen. If she can focus on getting back to just rhyming, no beefing with folks and no auto-tune (I wasn’t really feeling “If You Love Me“) , it should be dope!

To top off her awesome weekend, the singer also checked out Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour as it stopped in New Jersey where the two met up backstage and showed each other a lot of love. Kim posted pics of herself with the singer. She has remixed Rihanna’s songs in the past, including “Man Down” and “Pour It Up.”

“On the way to see my b***h rihanna!!!!! #diamondsworldtour”

She also wrote this as the caption to the photo of the two hugged up below:

“Me and my wifey @badgalriri @rihanna !!!!!! :) :) !!!! I’m in love!!!”

Check out more photos of the two kicking it, as well as video of Kim performing “All About The Benjamins,” “How Many Licks,” and “Get Money” on the next page!

Nothing puts a stop to shine quicker than drug addiction. Just ask Whitney, Bobby, DJ Screw or any of the hundreds of other celebrities that fell into the life and couldn’t climb out. These celebrities are quickly following in their footsteps.

RiRi is suffering from all the classic symptoms of pot head itis. She shows up to work late, cancels appointments and she’s dating a dude that nobody sober could stomach. Maybe if she puts down the blunt she can make those tour dates instead of having to fake doctor’s appointments.
