It’s a “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” reunion!

Raven-Symoné, the young star of the ’90s ABC sitcom, will guest star on Nick at Nite’s “See Dad Run,” which co-stars Mark Curry, who played the titular character on “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.”  “See Dad Run” centers on a former sitcom (Scott Baio) who’s now a stay-at-home father. Raven will play talk show host Whitney Gibbons. David (Baio) agrees to appear on her show despite their previous history. Cooper plays David’s friend Marcus on the series. Raven’s episode is set to air during Season 2 in the fall on Nick at Nite.

Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” aired from 1992 to 1997 and centered on single high-school teacher and coach Mr. Cooper (Curry), who lived with two female roommates, one being Vanessa, played by Peete. Raven played Nicole, the daughter of Mark’s cousin Geneva Lee (Saundra Quarterman), both of whom moved in with Mark and Vanessa in Season 2 after roommate Robin Dumars (Dawnn Lewis) moved out.

And it’s finally over! The season of Love and Hip Hop in New York ended yesterday after airing their final reunion episode, and boy did the absolute most happen. Joe Budden got punched in the back of the head by Consequence, Erica admitted to having sexual relations with Tiffany, Yandy opened up about the currently incarcerated Mendeecees, and basically, the ratch came out of pretty much everybody. Here’s a recap of the mess that we couldn’t help but be confused by last night.

If you watched the first two parts of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion, you probably noticed Kandi was the calmest person on the show — despite the daggers being thrown her way by one very rich b****. When Kandi came to the studio for an interview, we had  to ask her how she held her tongue amongst all the insults being thrown her way by Nene, and we also had to ask what she really thinks about Kenya Moore and her Gone With the Wind fabulous fan. Check out what she had to say.

We hate to be a spoiler (kind of) but we can’t wait until Sunday night to have all the drama unfold on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion, which is why we’re happy In Touch has some exclusive tea to share. Though in the previews from the upcoming second and third parts of the reunion, we already know some text messages been Phaedra’s husband Apollo and Kenya Moore are going to come into question, but thanks to InTouch, we now know what exactly was said in those texts — allegedly– and who was crossing the line hardcore – allegedly  According to the mag’s insider source, Phaedra first confronts Kenya about hitting on Apollo which prompts Kenya’s response that it was her husband who reached out to her in the first place. Clarifying the nature of that exchange, Phaedra told In Touch:

 “Let’s get this clear, my husband just asked her for advice on an acting coach. Kenya continued to text him, saying, ‘Oh, you look nice.’ She propositioned him with a sexual act.”

No she didn’t!

What’s even more crazy is Kenya reportedly doesn’t even deny offering the proposition during the reunion, simply saying:

“Hitting on and flirting are two different things. That man is married. I respect the sanctity of marriage.”

I’m sorry, if you respected the sanctity of marriage you would be flirting with other single men, not someone else’s husband. And need I recall how huffy Kenya got at the mere thought of Walter having hit on Kandi back in the day before she even knew her? Now she wants to act like it’s OK to flirt with someone else’s husband. Girl stop. Sorry, woman stop.

Fortunately for Phaedra and Apollo’s union, the pregnant, soon-to-be mother of two isn’t phased by the nonsense. She told In Touch:

“I have a strong marriage. It’s not like Kenya revealed something I didn’t know. There are no secrets.”

Let’s hope that’s the case.

Kenya Moore is back on her high horse again with a mouthful of self-righteous commentary related to her “historic” Miss USA win in 1993. After going on and on for three paragraphs on her Bravo blog about why Porsha questioning her admiration for Vanessa Williams “is ignorant, irresponsible, and indicative of the lack of respect for my convictions, beliefs, and my own legacy as the second Black woman to be crowned Miss USA,” and how “My crowning is a part of history and is a part of my legacy — that can never be taken away from me as much as the haters try to hate,” it’s interesting that Kenya still never took the time to acknowledge the first black Miss USA.

If you watched the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion Sunday night — or bothered to look up this fact on Wikipedia — you’d know Carole Gist was the first African American woman to win the title of Miss USA. Porsha busted out this little tidbit during part 1′s reunion and even mentioned Carole is from Detroit — like Kenya — making Miss Gone With the Wind Fabulous’s lack of acknowledgement all the more odd. Sidestepping the issue once again, as she did when these facts were brought out Sunday, Kenya simply wrote:

“When Miss Williams was crowned Miss America in 1983, she opened the door for Black women around the world to achieve immeasurable dreams the same way Hattie McDaniel did as the first Black woman to ever win an Academy Award. Although there have been others to achieve the pinnacle of achievement and honors in pageantry and in entertainment, the first from an overall platform or genre will always be the individual who made it possible for ALL others to come after…

“With that said, whom I admire and respect and hold in high esteem and for what reason is my exclusive right. I chose not to and won’t respond to ignorance and stupidity and to someone who is merely relevant for arguing and picking childish fights with me the entire season and has no accomplishments of their own.”

Sorry, still sounds a little suspect to me. How do you have more respect for someone in a different pageant from you altogether than a woman right from your own hometown who broke down the black ceiling specifically for you. Could she be mad she didn’t get that title first just three years prior?

Regardless of whatever covert shadiness is going on there, Kenya did take the time to right another wrong — you know telling Phaedra she’d be picking up her teeth off the floor, pregnant and all. Kenya apologized for her comment during the reunion, writing:

“I hate liars. We all saw Phaedra lie last season about the timing of her pregnancy, lie to Cynthia, etc. She never told the truth and will never tell the truth about her video sales. However, that didn’t warrant any threat toward a pregnant woman. I was keeping my composure but that was unacceptable. Having said that, whether you are #TeamStallion or team broke-down donkey, my fitness video sales have broken records and the video is and remains more successful than hers.”

OK so that was sort of an apology.

What do you think about Kenya’s blog?

Don’t the women of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” look so sweet and innocent and ladylike right here? Well let me tell you that did not last for long during part 1 of the reunion last night. Phaedra Parks called it early on in the night when she said everyone on the stage was a female, but not everyone was a lady. And it didn’t take long before nearly every single cast member proved that.

Most of the darts flew out of Kenya’s mouth as she and Porsha Stewart repeatedly went in on each other for issues stemming all the way back to the second episode of season 5. Porsha essentially said Kenya has been jealous of her from day one because she’s young, married, and beautiful and Kenya basically gave that sentiment a “hell no.” If Porsha watched the reunion, I know it had to hurt when a reader sent in a question telling her she better hope Kordell didn’t just choose her as a trophy wife or else he’d be leaving her by time she was 40. Unfortunately, that decision seems to have come even sooner.

Miss Gone With the Wind Fabulous directed her anger at Phaedra next and it didn’t take long before the battle of the booties turned into something much bigger. Initially, the ladies were going back and forth over the details of their falling out during initial production talks of Phaedra’s donkey booty DVD, then it turned into a competition of whose workout video has performed better since their releases, to all out below the belt daggers. Kenya told Phaedra she was too overweight to be doing a workout video in the first place and Phaedra retorted by calling Kenya a “silicone Barbie” and saying “You’ve got a fake boyfriend, a fake house–nothing’s original about you, darling!” Kenya has never been known to take one lying down, but she even surprised viewers when she told Phaedra if she didn’t stop lying on her, “you will be picking up your teeth off the floor, pregnant and all!”

Yes, she threatened an eight-months-pregnant woman on national TV.

We even got caught in the drama after we had to call Phaedra out just a little on Twitter for acting like “wearing pieces” from time to time, like the one she had on last night, wasn’t equivalent to wearing weave. Kenya retweeted our message and added in her own thoughts about her cast mate “Phae Phae”

You can tell the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is Bravo’s money maker because the network and Andy Cohen are going all out to  build up anticipation for the season 5 reunion, which by the way is three parts — yes, three!

Andy just dropped a teaser for the reunion shows which will begin airing April 7, and though he isn’t letting on too much about what’s going to happen in the episodes, Straight from the A appears to have all the tea. According to the site:

While many feel that the recent lawsuit filed by Kandi against Kim was a publicity stunt for the reunion, I heard that Bravo actually banned the ladies from speaking of it at all during the taping. If… (and that’s a big IF) it’s a publicity stunt, it may be used during Kandi’s upcoming “Kandi Factory” show…

As expected, Kenya and Phaedra continued their ‘booty battle” and went head to head as they each shared facts surrounding the fallout over their respective workout DVD’s.

Phaedra, who is about eight months pregnant and ready to pop, brought out a few surprises and attempted to remain calm due to her condition… but I heard that Kenya pulled a few low blows by bringing out a few explosive “exhibits” to prove her points about Phaedra and/or Apollo.

Phaedra, on the other hand, is said to have pullled out proof of Kenya’s silicone implants, as well as her questionable relationship history.

According to my very knowledgeable source, Kenya’s implant history is very well documented in the modeling industry.

… many photographers on her repeat modeling gigs noted “special circumstances” when shooting back shots of Kenya.

Having posed several times for BlackMens Magazine & Smooth, there are reportedly several notes about photoshopping a dent in Moore’s left butt cheek, which is rumored to have stemmed from lack of care after her silicone implant procedure.

My source went on to say:

When Kenya got her work done it wasn’t as popular a procedure in the U.S. She was referred by a friend to a Dr. in Mexico and traveled there to get her work done.

The doctor who performed Kenya’s procedure advised her to sleep on her stomach for a few weeks after the procedure, but she slept on her side, resulting in the imperfection.

Clearly this is all hearsay, but the person who told me is normally a great source of information. So yes… I believe it and am taking his word as the gospel (but that’s just me).

The ladies weren’t just bickering amongst themselves, though, as word is all of their men — except Walter who was tardy for the party because he wasn’t even invited — had some drama as well. Straight from the A goes on to report:

Porsha had a lil bit of Kenya drama as well, but most of her issues centered around her defending her husband Kordell’s “controlling” nature.

All of the house HUSBANDs took to the stage as well. Gregg, Peter,Apollo and even Todd appeared in support of his fiance Kandi.

Last but not least, word on the curb is that one hubby was a no show.

My spidey senses tell me that it was probably Kordell but I haven’t received any confirmation.

In addition to catching a ton of flack about being “too controlling,” Kordell’s past was revisited regarding the gay rumors that surrounded his NFL career.

Considering we now know Kordell and Porsha are headed for divorce, it seems like the former NFL pro is the likely absentee husband. The couple’s current situation alone is enough to make loyal fans tune in to this three-part series but I’m also dying to know whether Andy is going to question Kenya about Walter and whether their relationship was a hoax from the beginning.

Okay, so it’s not exactly a reunion but at this point, Outkast fans will just have to take what they can get.

Last night, Rap Radar premiered “Pink Matter” the remix by Frank Ocean which features both Andre 3000 and Big Boi.  The original version, featured on Ocean’s debut album Channel Orange only had a verse from 3000. Big Boi revealed months ago that Frank Ocean asked him to be on the song as well but Andre  didn’t want an Outkast reunion to happen on anyone else’s song or album.

Luckily for the fans, Andre doesn’t necessarily speak for the group.   Big Boi has hopped on the song and those of us who have been waiting for anything that sounds like the group can take this and let it hold you over.   The reality is there will probably not be an Outkast album coming out anytime soon.  Andre seems to be interested in other things, primarily movies and features on other peoples’ singles and Big Boi…well, he can’t put an Outkast album out on his own.  They’re still under contract so they owe their label albums but as we know, many artists just sit that out for the rest of their careers.

Anyway, Miss Info has the song and listen kids, it’s pretty explicit so get your fans ready.

A few weeks ago many were relieved to learn that reality television’s most toxic duo, Latin recording artist Joseline Hernandez and messy mega-producer Stevie J, may have called it quits for good. If you recall, Joseline took to her Twitter page to blast Stevie J and express her disgust with his lifestyle calling him out as a drug addict and implying that he was on the down low. Of course, Stebie wasn’t one to back down and went back at her on the social network. Hernandez concluded her rant basically stating that she was done with him. Considering the intensity and harsh nature of the public beef, many assumed that the two were done for good. But apparently the argument wasn’t too serious because it seems that the two have kissed and made up — according to Joseline’s Twitter and Instagram pages at least.

The other night the two took a trip to New York and by the looks of her subliminal tweets and photos of the two together, we’re assuming it wasn’t just some business trip. After sharing photos she tweeted “You will never be able to please everybody. So guess what please your damn self. F every1 else. They don’t pay your bills. Run tell that.” In other words, “Me and Stebie Weebie are back together and I don’t care what people have to say about it.”

Oh, but it gets even more interesting. She proceeded to post this photo of herself with a wad of cash accompanied by a caption that read: “I was good to Daddy last nite!!! Lmao I’m so Rachet.” Of course followers questioned if this meant she had gone back to her former occupation as a stripper. She replied that she strips for her man every night.

While the actions of the train-wreck known as Joseline and Stevie J are not the least bit surprising to me, something in me still wonders where Mimi fits into all of this. Is she somewhere still fuming over this super public and über messy love affair or has she finally moved on? Inquiring minds want to know.

The reunions of any reality TV show are usually more anticipated than the regular weekly episodes and that’s especially true when it comes to VH1 shows like “Basketball Wives” and “Love & Hip-Hop”. Surprisingly, for all the fighting, bottle throwing, and bullying that went on during this past season of BBW, the ladies were all able to still sit down with one another when the taping wrapped, which is why it seems odd that the LHH crew reportedly can’t do the same.

According to Tattletailzz.com, if someone from the cast were to ask, “can’t we all just get along” and tape a reunion show, that answer would be no.

It looks like there won’t be any reunion show for the cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Sources say that because LHHA cast members can’t get along, Mona Scott Young is left with no choice but to conduct one on one interviews with each individual from the show – for the LHHA finale.

The anonymous source is quoted as saying:

“There’s only four episodes left, and we’re not going to have a reunion show. The cast doesn’t get along. The boys hate the boys and the girls hate the girls. Mona will do sit down interviews with each cast members, at separate times. None of the cast want to do a reunion show.”

So basically it will be a repeat of the second season reunion for the New York “Love & Hip-Hop” crew which was whack—except for the fact that people didn’t hesitate to tell Mona how they really felt about her.

I’m trying to figure out who has all this beef on the show because despite the altercations, somehow everyone has managed to still have cafe sit-downs over tea and crumpets to talk about their fights. We’ve seen this with Mimi and Joseline numerous times, Joseline and Erika, and Karlie and K. Michelle. If these ladies were cool enough to talk days after beef—some of which was physical—why wouldn’t they be able to sit across from one another on a television set? Sounds suspect to me. As far as Lil Scrappy and Stevie J? I don’t doubt that  Scrappy wants to lay his paws on the womanizing producer again but he has bigger fish to fry, one in particular known as child support, so he needs to chill out.

Hopefully this is all just propaganda to build excitement around the reunion and make people tune in to see what will really happen because one-on-one interviews with this cast would be a big disappointment. What do you think?
