When Real Housewives Keep It Too Real: NeNe Leakes Goes Toe To Toe With Beverly Hills Housewife Brandi Glanville

So now that NeNe Leakes is the highest paid of everyone in the Real Housewives franchise, she’s doing what she does best–throwing shade. The reality TV personality and actress showed up on Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen to dish on the different Housewives, including former star Sheree Whitfield (whom she called a b**ch), Lisa Vanderpump (saying she looked a little too thin these days, probably from Dancing With The Stars), and of course, Brandi Glanville, from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, who was married to actor Eddie Cibrian before he had an affair and left her for country singer LeAnn Rimes.

Leakes had a few words for Glanville, calling her a trainwreck and claiming that she opens her mouth to say things she should keep to herself way too often:

“Brandi’s just a train wreck. Just a wreck. She’s just off the chain, she’s off the hook with a lot of the things that she has to say, just so talkative…she thinks she’s a gangsta, or something. She thinks she can get in people’s faces and say whatever she wants to say. I like her when she’s not drinking. Brandi and drinks don’t work for me.”

Of course, word of her comments made their way to Glanville and she got in touch with RadarOnline.com to clear the air and to remind Leakes that “she doesn’t even know me.”

“It doesn’t affect me. She doesn’t even know me. If she wants to sit down and hang out with me and my boys and come have dinner, come on over. Get to know me first. Then she can say what she wants about me.”

“At the end of the day, at least she’s talking about me. It doesn’t matter if she’s saying good or bad, she’s talking about me.  And I am gangsta! Why can’t I be gangsta? Because I’m white, skinny and tall?!”

However, Glanville admits that the last time she ran into Leakes, she had too much too drink and might have said a few random things.

“I was totally tipsy…we were all just having fun. So I said I was gangsta. It’s NeNe…I could care less. I don’t know her. I enjoy her on the show and I think she’s really good TV, but as I was watching the show last night I felt like she was drinking her own kool-aid a little too much. It takes a village and we’re all in this together. Everyone on the show brings something different and they’re all important roles.”

But will they all be making $1 million for a season of Real Housewives? Me thinks not. But what do you think about what both women had to say? Was Leakes disrespectful, or is Glanville the one out here clowning?

Could this woman be the newest cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? According to E! News, she’s been approached about joining in on the “fun” and has met with producers and casting for Bravo.

Meet Baroness Monica von Neumann. She was married to Austrian royalty, Baron John von Neumann for 26 years after being introduced to each other by Sonny Bono in Palm Springs. According to Radar Online, he was the first importer of Volkswagens to the U.S., and a son of a prominent doctor. They had many great years together traveling around the world and living the fabulous life, but he passed away after a battle with cancer in 2003.

But aside from being known as his wife, the Baroness von Neumann has formed her own identity and brought in her own wealth as an entrepreneur. She’s Detroit’s finest, but has lived many years in Los Angeles, and is well known for her successful candle line, Baroness von Neumann Candles. We had the pleasure of interviewing her last year about her candle collection, her husband and her philanthropic work.

According to the source close to Bravo, “The producers loved that she has an existing company.” It’s that business savvy that makes producers think she would be a good fit for the show. She would definitely bring something different to the table seeing as she would be the first royal housewife in Beverly Hills and you know…since she’s black. If things don’t work out with the show, Von Neumann will definitely be good, not only because she’s handling business, but because she allegedly filmed a pilot for her own reality show for E! late last year, so she’s making big moves to get her face on the small screen in some way, shape or form. If she does get picked up for RHOBH, let’s hope she doesn’t end up being pushed to portray a stereotype, because she’s way too classy for all of that.

While I was cruising through some of my go-to websites looking for news about black folks, I couldn’t help but to be sucked in by the sympathy seeking antics and non-stop drama of country singer LeAnn Rimes. If you know nothing about her current controversial relationship status, here’s a quick summary: Rimes was once married to her former background dancer, Dean Sheremet. On the other side of the table, actor Eddie Cibrian was at the same time married to Brandi Glanville (who can be seen dogging Cibrian on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills nowadays), the mother of his two children. When Rimes and Cibrian had to work together on the TV movie Northern Lights in 2009, there was a spark between the two, and they began an affair with one another that was discovered by Glanville and Sheremet, and the rest of the world, after Cibrian and Rimes were caught kissing on camera…when they weren’t shooting. In the end, the two left their partner for each other, and have seemed pretty happy (and sometimes lacking much remorse for their past cheating) ever since.

Well, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rimes not only discussed the depression she went through after her affair was discovered and was heavily criticized (she says she wondered if she could ever go through with suicide at that time, but thankfully she realized that she couldn’t), and admitted that she’s afraid that how she got her man Eddie is how she could lose him–by cheating. When asked if she feared that he might step out on her, according to The Daily Mail, she admits that she has worried about it before. “I would be ignorant to say, and everyone else would think I am a liar if I didn’t say yes, and I have at times.”

Afterwards, she also put out there that though she’s had her worries, so has Eddie: “Speaking for him, I would actually say that’s creeped into his [mind].” But all in all, the singer says that they’ve gone out of their way to ensure each other that they deeply care about one another, so she can only hope that the possible pain they could cause the other would stop them dead in their tracks. “I think we’ve been very honest and open with that to each other and our conversations about it have only made me understand how much he actually cares, as much as I do, about being faithful to each other.”

I don’t know if I would ever feel fully comfortable in a relationship with someone who could so easily step out on a woman, even if they did so to be with me. But I guess that’s the cost and the worry that comes with being loving such a person. You live and you learn. Check out video of LeAnn talking about her relationship and depression below.
