Yesterday cops reported that 30-year-old Quamine Taylor of Jamaica, Queens, was arrested for breaking into Diddy’s East Hampton mansion and partying for nearly 24 hours—eating his food, drinking his liquor, and rummaging through his designer clothes. But it wasn’t the first time Quamine pulled this stunt, he told the NY Post at the Suffolk County Jail:

“I’ve actually been going to the house from time to time since 2001,” then he added, “I stay there a lot, but Sean gets funny sometimes about me staying there.”

If it sounds like the intruder is a bit off of his rocker, he might be. His mother told police, “He grew up listening to [Diddy’s] music. He has a long history of mental illness, and he has been off his meds for a while. We have been trying to get him some help.” Meds or not, that hasn’t stopped Quamine from outsmarting the police and Diddy’s security on more than one occasion. In his first break-in, he passed himself off as Diddy’s cousin when cops found him intoxicated after he went for a swim. This time around, he had a taxi driver take him from the East Hampton LIRR station to the Hedges Banks Drive mansion March 31, and after slipping past security, he located an unlocked basement door and entered the premises.

Things were going well until he tipped off an alarm around 1 am. Amazingly, he managed to convince an alarm-company representative and a police officer who responded to the scene that he was a member of the Diddy entourage and was allowed to remain in the home. If it hadn’t been for a caretaker who found him in the home the next day and called the cops, he’d probably still be there as planned. And while you’d think Quamine’s last night of freedom in the Hamptons would have been memorable, he insists Diddy’s home isn’t all that.

“I got a good night’s sleep, but it’s not anything too special,” he said about the accommodations. “It’s just like a three bedroom.”

He also wants it to be known that he didn’t break into the house because he’s a Bad Boy fanatic, like his mother suggested.

“I really didn’t go to Diddy’s house because I’m a big fan of his. I just wanted to get out of the city for a while. I was actually hoping to stay like 15 to 17 days.”

He is killing me. Quamine was arraigned on trespassing and petit-larceny charges and was being held on a $2,000 bail. Somebody better get Antoine Dodson on the case to tell Diddy hide yo clothes, hide yo Ciroc. This man is guaranteed to be back.
