[Internet hackers would like us to believe] Beyonce has finally addressed current rumors that she is pregnant with her second child.

Reports gathered pace on Friday when E! news claimed that “multiple sources” had confirmed the news.

In response, Beyonce [supposedly] posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account in which she seems to deny the rumors, while calling out “low lives” who talk about her.

She wrote: “I can’t stop the rumors from starting, and I can’t really change peoples minds who believe them, all I can do is sit back and laugh at these low life people who have nothing better to do than talk about me.”

When she was just 16 years old, Maya Angelou got pregnant with her son, Guy Johnson. At a time when teen mothers were often shamed and/or pushed into marrying the baby’s father, the now-literary icon and renowned poet had a support system many other teen moms lacked. Dr. Angelou’s own mother, Vivian Baxter, never shamed her young, unmarried, pregnant daughter, instead choosing to help the teenager and support her efforts to raise her son on her own.

In this clip from Dr. Angelou’s second appearance on “Super Soul Sunday”, she opens up to Oprah about becoming a teen mom. Though Dr. Angelou says she struggled with trying to be independent and work while raising a baby, she always knew one thing: that she could return home to Vivian whenever she needed help.

“The world would throw me flat on my face with this little baby I’m trying to raise,” Dr. Angelou tells Oprah. “I would go home to Vivian Baxter. She would act as if it was the best thing that ever happened… She never, ever made me feel that I had done the wrong thing.”

The Internet has been buzzing for weeks with rumors that Beyoncé Knowles  and her hip-hop mogul hubby Jay-Z are expecting their second child. Bey’s decision to cancel a show earlier this week due to exhaustion and dehydration only seemed to fuel the rumors. Fans say Bey’s “disappointing” performance Wednesday night in Belgium continued to support the rumors, as it is widely known that Mrs. Carter is a huge perfectionist.  Although official representatives on behalf of Beyoncé have yet to officially confirm the news, sources tells E! News that the couple is definitely expecting.

While the Bey Hive waits in anticipation to hear their “queen” officially confirm or deny the rumors, Russell Simmons is already offering the hip-hop power couple his congrats via Twitter.

Now either Uncle Rush knows something that the rest of the world doesn’t (which is possible), or he may be jumping the gun a little bit. One thing is for sure: we’re down to the wire. Pretty soon Bey’s camp will have to offer a yay or to the new baby rumors, but at this point in the game, it looks like the speculations may be true!

We’ll continue to keep you posted as this story develops.

What do you think? Is she or isn’t she?

Girl, Get Yo Family: Beyonce’s Uncle Larry Says She Only Married Jay-Z Because She Was Tired Of Being Alone

I really thought Beyonce had avoided the fame curse when it comes to family members and friends trying to use personal things against you to get their 15, or 20, minutes of shine. In all the years she’s been in the business, no one seems to have snitched on any dirty secrets she might have or lent their personal opinion to the public media for selfish gain. And then that untarnished record went all downhill yesterday when Celebuzz had “A 20-Minute Conversation With Beyonce’s Uncle Larry” — literally.

Where the site dug up Uncle Larry, who I’m assuming is Tina Knowles’ brother since his last name is Beyince, I can’t say. But I guarantee Bey, Tina, and Jay are going to push him right back into that hole he crawled out of just to see his name in online print. Speaking on everything from Beyonce’s childhood to Matthew Knowles, and Bey’s marriage, it seems safe to assume someone found Larry’s telephone number by luck, called him up and started asking him questions, and instead of saying “no comment,” this man just rattled on and on about his little neice like he was talking to a good friend from the past and didn’t realize Bey is a mega superstar. Check out the Q&A and some of his suspect  insinuations about Jayonce’s relationship.

On The Rumor That Beyonce Is Pregnant Again…

“I have no idea. I haven’t heard nothing, except that she’s on tour.

“Even then [when she was pregnant with Blue Ivy] she tried to keep everything secret like it’s a really big deal. She didn’t want everyone to know.

“She did tell me she wants to have more, but I didn’t know how fast. I think now would be too soon. She just had one and she needs time to really raise that baby.”

On Beyonce Before Becoming Mrs. Jay-Z…

“He was after her and she wasn’t. She told me she wasn’t too particularly fond of him.

“I would see him with her and pictures of them, I heard rumors they were together and she told me ‘no.’ You know how women get that look like ‘eww.’ I guess she wasn’t attracted to him.

“But as long as he treats her well and makes her happy, that’s all I ever wanted. He’s okay with me.”

On Beyonce Getting Married…

“I was surprised she married him. I think she got tired of being alone. When you have as much money as she does she has to be careful about people wanting her for her money. And apparently he had as much as she had.

“I don’t think the family cared. Just that whatever he’s doing he’s making money [and] made it okay.”

On Beyonce’s Father Mathew Knowles…

“I wasn’t surprised she fired him [as her manager]. I’m glad, actually.

“I know he was getting 20 percent of whatever she made, and from what I know he wasn’t doing much for her. All I knew is that he wanted her to be famous and rich so he could be rich.

“One reason I was glad she got married is because she was no longer under her dad’s control. He is a control freak.”

On Beyonce’s Early Rise To Fame…

“She didn’t want to be famous. She just wanted to be a normal child. She loved to watch cartoons and be with her friends.

“She was forced into singing.

“It took away her whole childhood. Everything was geared toward being famous. She used to get angry at [her father] a lot for taking away her childhood. That affected her.

“I would prefer she was just my little niece, but she’s a lot better off than most women.”

Larry, you are so outside the circle of trust now. This is why Bey didn’t tell you she was dating Jay-Z years ago (and why she wouldn’t call to tell you if she’s pregnant) — you run your mouth too much! Is anyone else imagining mama Tina cursing him out right now or is that just me? Regardless of how left-field Uncle Larry’s interview was though, we are still a bit curious about how much of it is true. What do you think?

If there is one thing that we absolutely love here at Madame Noire, it’s adorable little ones. We’re thrilled to report that Miami Heat player, Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne Bosh are expecting another child. Adrienne took to her Twitter page yesterday to announce the wonderful news via these adorable photos of their two children holding signs with cute phrases etched onto them such as:

“Guess what?!”

“I’m a big sister again!”

“I’m being promoted to big brother.”

Along with one of the photos, Adrienne posted a message to her Twitter page, confirming the news.

Screen shot 2013-05-14 at 12.17.39 PMThe new baby will actually be the couple’s second child together and Chris’ third child. They already have a one-year-old son, Jackson. Chris also has an adorable little girl named Trinity (pictured above) from a previous relationship. The Bosh family just got through celebrating little Jackson’s first birthday earlier this month.

We’re not really sure how far along Adrienne is in her pregnancy, but we’re assuming she’s still in the early stages, as she doesn’t appear to be showing in recently released photos. We’re very happy for the Bosh family. Fatherhood looks good on Chris and this has got to be one of the most adorable pregnancy announcements we’ve seen in a long time!

Kenya Apologizes For Threatening Phaedra During RHOA Reunion

kenya reunion

Kenya Moore is back on her high horse again with a mouthful of self-righteous commentary related to her “historic” Miss USA win in 1993. After going on and on for three paragraphs on her Bravo blog about why Porsha questioning her admiration for Vanessa Williams “is ignorant, irresponsible, and indicative of the lack of respect for my convictions, beliefs, and my own legacy as the second Black woman to be crowned Miss USA,” and how “My crowning is a part of history and is a part of my legacy — that can never be taken away from me as much as the haters try to hate,” it’s interesting that Kenya still never took the time to acknowledge the first black Miss USA.

If you watched the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion Sunday night — or bothered to look up this fact on Wikipedia — you’d know Carole Gist was the first African American woman to win the title of Miss USA. Porsha busted out this little tidbit during part 1′s reunion and even mentioned Carole is from Detroit — like Kenya — making Miss Gone With the Wind Fabulous’s lack of acknowledgement all the more odd. Sidestepping the issue once again, as she did when these facts were brought out Sunday, Kenya simply wrote:

“When Miss Williams was crowned Miss America in 1983, she opened the door for Black women around the world to achieve immeasurable dreams the same way Hattie McDaniel did as the first Black woman to ever win an Academy Award. Although there have been others to achieve the pinnacle of achievement and honors in pageantry and in entertainment, the first from an overall platform or genre will always be the individual who made it possible for ALL others to come after…

“With that said, whom I admire and respect and hold in high esteem and for what reason is my exclusive right. I chose not to and won’t respond to ignorance and stupidity and to someone who is merely relevant for arguing and picking childish fights with me the entire season and has no accomplishments of their own.”

Sorry, still sounds a little suspect to me. How do you have more respect for someone in a different pageant from you altogether than a woman right from your own hometown who broke down the black ceiling specifically for you. Could she be mad she didn’t get that title first just three years prior?

Regardless of whatever covert shadiness is going on there, Kenya did take the time to right another wrong — you know telling Phaedra she’d be picking up her teeth off the floor, pregnant and all. Kenya apologized for her comment during the reunion, writing:

“I hate liars. We all saw Phaedra lie last season about the timing of her pregnancy, lie to Cynthia, etc. She never told the truth and will never tell the truth about her video sales. However, that didn’t warrant any threat toward a pregnant woman. I was keeping my composure but that was unacceptable. Having said that, whether you are #TeamStallion or team broke-down donkey, my fitness video sales have broken records and the video is and remains more successful than hers.”

OK so that was sort of an apology.

The Streets Are Talking: Is Nivea Pregnant With Lil Wayne’s Baby?

March 29th, 2013 - By Veronica Wells

nivea-lil-wayne

Rumor has it that 31 year old R&B singer/baby maker Nivea is with child once again. And the streets are saying that it’s Lil Wayne’s baby. Well, maybe it’s not so much the streets as it is Nivea herself. Supposedly, at Nivea’s recent birthday celebration, someone overheard her telling another guest that Wayne was excited about the new baby. If this is true this will be Nivea’s fifth child. She has three from her marriage to The Dream and one from Lil Wayne born in 2009.

You may not remember but Nivea was actually with Lil Wayne before she married The Dream. Back in July 2003, she told Sister2Sister Magazine how Wayne proposed to her around Christmas time in 2002:

[He said] ‘I got your Christmas present with me and you’re gonna love it. It’s gonna make you smile. He got down on his knee and he was like, ‘I know I’m young, but I’ve been through enough relationships to know and understand the meaning of what love is.’ He was just perfect. He told me that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and he loved me. It was snot and tears at the same time.”

She went on to tell the magazine that if she didn’t marry Wayne, she would die a single woman. But that’s not exactly how it went down. When Wayne called off their engagement in December of 2003, to rekindle his relationship with ex-wife Antonia Wright (Toya), Nivea moved on and ended up marrying The Dream in 2004. The couple had a daughter in 2005 and twin sons in 2006. They divorced in 2007 when The Dream claimed that he “didn’t want to   take this person [Nivea] and treat them a certain way based on what I was changing into, based on being bitter.”

Severe side eye.

After that, Nivea reconnected with Wayne, though he had gotten his ex girlfriend, Lauren London pregnant. After Nivea gave birth to their son Neal Carter in 2009, the couple got engaged again. And broke it off in 2010. On her Myspace page, she confirmed that Young Money singer Shanell Woodget was the reason behind their split. “Mood: betrayed Wanting everyone to know that Shanell (the background Slore that sings with Lil Wayne) is a piece of trash and not to be respected!”

Man what a story. This is certainly a VH1 movie…

From Essence

Q: I am eight months pregnant. It’s my husband and I’s second child. Our first is a daughter who is amazing. We have been together for three years and married four months. He walked out two months ago saying he needed time to think. The time he spent at home became less and less and then I found out he is living with a new female. He cheated on me before he walked out, but when he left he made it out to be my fault. I do love this man, and he doesn’t want to file for divorce and hasn’t removed anything from our home. I want to fix our marriage, but I know I cannot do it alone. How do I let my marriage go, and what I thought was going to be forever? Please help!

Funny Lady Maya Rudolph Pregnant With Fourth Child After Speaking On How SNL Career Almost Got In The Way Of Starting A Family

And another baby makes four!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, comedienne Maya Rudolph, 40, of Saturday Night Live, Bridesmaids, and Up All Night fame is expecting her fourth child with her longtime boyfriend, director and writer Paul Thomas Anderson, 42 (who is behind epic movies like There Will Be Blood, The Master, Boogie Nights and Magnolia.) They already have three beautiful children together, including Pearl Minnie, 7, Lucille, 3, and Jack, who is 17 months old. Rudolph informed NBC that she is preggers once again, since she was most recently working on Up All Night for the network. However, the future of that show is kind of up in the air at the moment, as its star, Christina Applegate, decided to part ways after just two seasons on air due to creative differences, and so far, plans for a third season have been scrapped. But either way, Rudolph’s new addition proves that her future is bright show or no show.

It wasn’t too long ago (okay, it was last April) that Rudolph spoke on NPR’s Fresh Air about the years she spent working at Saturday Night Live and contemplating whether or not she was going to have kids. Such a busy schedule at the time made that almost impossible.

“Before I had children, everything about my life was devoted to Saturday Night Live. You’re there sometimes on Tuesday nights until 6 or 8 in the morning. You’re exhausted, you’re loopy … and you’ve had three shows in a row, and you haven’t done any of your laundry, and you have no food in the fridge. It’s really difficult to be there for anyone else in your life when you’re doing the show because of the hours it demands.”

And it probably wasn’t easy with Anderson’s busy schedule as well. But somehow, they’ve managed to make it work, and because of that, Rudolph stays pregnant (Seriously, I feel like every time I see her out for a big event or happening she’s with child–but I love it!). Congratulations are in order once again for one of our favorite funny ladies!
