If you saw Lil Mo discussing her feelings about Keyshia Cole and Beyonce’s “Bow Down,” then you know she has a strong personality and a way with words. She’s witty. Kind of puts you in the mind of K. Michelle but more churched and more classy. She’s a riot. She sat down with the Breakfast Club to discuss her career, why she doesn’t rock with Keyshia Cole and her role on the new show “R&B Divas: L.A.” Check out a few excerpts from the interview and then watch the entire video on the last page.

On having her kids on the show “R&B Divas”

Lil Mo: “My baby son he’s 9 months, he has his shots.

Envy: Mo make him sound like a dog.

Lil Mo: No cuz you know people have their baby out, it be the size of my phone ‘here he is.’ If you don’t take that baby…it’s germs out here. It’s the flu. That baby could die! I don’t play that. So he has his shots, he’s of age. And I was like, yo these kids need jobs because…

Angela Yee: Wait, hold on so the baby gets paid too?

Mo: Yes. I have a great lawyer.

Her personality on the show

It got to the point. They had to add on extra weeks of shooting. I would shoot everyday. Listen, everything I am invited to, I take over. When I do radio, I don’t do nothing less than number one. When I do songs, as long as I got a machine and budget behind me, I can make top 40. When I do tv, you’re going to want to see me in my element. I only know how to dominate. That’s my personality. I don’t go in like ‘aaaahhh’ I don’t know where people get that from . But I made it my business to bring my staff with me. I had hair and makeup everyday . Clothes. I ain’t wear the same thing twice. I can’t speak for the other ladies.

Who’s your best friend on the show?

Honestly, everybody. I took everybody for their flaws and everybody. I’m my own best friend I didn’t sign on because of who signed on. I signed on because this is something I wanted to do because it’s great for promotion, visibility as well as my whole movement.

Earlier today, we told you about radio host DJ Envy coming clean over the air about his relationship with “Love & Hip Hop” star Erica Mena. His confession appeared to be in response to Erica’s internet radio interview from last week, where she confessed to sleeping with the married DJ, justified it by saying he didn’t act like a “proud married man” and revealed that she would be dropping a tell-all book about the affair. Now today, in an interview that appears to be in response to Envy’s confession, the walking, talking, breathing contradiction told Vibe Vixen that Envy failed to inform her that he was married.

“DJ Envy’s definitely talking about me, but I’m one of many. I was under the assumption that he had kids but wasn’t actually married. I found out around the time that I started filming “Love & Hip Hop”. After I found out, I was still in shock because we were together for so long. I didn’t understand how he could take a vow as serious as marriage and take on a whole other relationship. It’s sad that now he’s taking all these shots saying I’m a liar and I’m pathetic, when he deceived me. It’s not fair to paint me out as a liar when he was leading a double life for many years. He’s never publicly come out with his wife until now because he’s ashamed of her. It’s no secret.”

She went on to claim that her upcoming book is not a tell-all about the DJ, but a story of her life.

“For me, I never spoke about it [the affair] because it was embarrassing as a woman. Of course, now I explain it in my book. I want to be clear: My book is not a tell-all. It’s just a book about my life and Envy is apart of my life.”

She also posted a public message to Envy’s wife on her Twitter page

Meanwhile Envy expressed via his Twitter page that nothing is going to come between him and his wife, not even Erica’s book.

It looks like this back and forth thing between Envy and Erica may go on for awhile.

It’s difficult to believe Erica’s claim that she didn’t know Envy was married considering how unapologetic and bold she came off during last week’s interview, but then again, it wouldn’t be the first time someone lied about their marital status.

Last week, we told you that “Love & Hip Hop” star Erica Mena publicly confessed to having carried on an affair with Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club host, DJ Envy. Mena spilled the tea regarding her homewrecking deed during an interview, where she also revealed that she would be releasing a book this April that would recount all of the nitty-gritty details about the affair. She also unapologetically revealed that she didn’t find herself to be a homewrecker because Envy was unhappily married.

During his show this morning, Envy confirmed that he did in fact have an extramarital affair with the “Love & Hip Hop” star. He also confessed that the affair came during a challenging time in his life, reports The Jasmine Brand.

“A couple of months ago, I called my wife on air and asked her for forgiveness. I told her I needed change. I had a close relationship with God and I changed. Now, my wife, has been with me over 18 years. We’ve been married 11 years. The best heart that you’ll ever know. She’s that type of person that’ll change your life.”

“It’s a difficult thing to do. Sometimes being married it makes you insecure dude. I looked like I had everything. It was scary, my wife is gorgeous. She might me somebody that’s smarter than me. It made me insecure.”

“With being insecure, with me being weak. I was so insecure and so down..I started messing with somebody that was beneath me. A bird. Evil. A liar. Somebody that was desperate and its just so pathetic. I mean I didn’t have to feed this person no feed. I didn’t have to make her feel special, because she wasn’t. So that’s what it was.”

He also made it clear that he desires to work things out with his wife, but even if the marriage doesn’t survive, his family will.

“With the help of God, this situation has made my family tighter. Like tighter. I’m honest. I had to be honest with myself. And the hardest thing I had to do was tell my wife EVERYTHING. When I say everything. She looked at me so different. To look at my family. So you guys follow me on twitter. We’re good. We’re not great. I don’t know what happens from here. Now if we remain together, as a relationship, we’ll see. But as a family, nobody’s stopping us. I just want to tell you ‘I love you. And we’ll see what God has in store for us.”

Although Envy doesn’t actually utter Erica’s name, it’s quite obvious who he is referring to. It’s also interesting to note that his wife Gia will be making her debut as the newest addition to “Real Housewives of New Jersey” this season.

The pair hitting up the 40/40 Club re-opening.

Pictures can easily tell us things that people would rather not have us know–like if and when they’re creeping. And that’s what I’m sure a lot of people were thinking when a pic was unveiled of former 3LW singer Adrienne Bailon and rapper Fabolous (Emily Bustamante of Love & Hip Hop‘s ALWAYS discussed on and off again love) walking into the 40/40 Club in NYC together for its re-opening. It was looking pretty suspect only because the two were walking pretty close and there didn’t seem to be a big entourage around them that signaled a crew outing (date night possibly?). While that may be suspicious, what makes the prospect of an Adrienne and Fab hookup all the more suspect is the fact that Adrienne and Emily seem to be somewhat chummy. They’ve been seen taking photos together (look down), even though we’ve never really heard Emily acknowledge what those two crazy kids are. But for the most part, it seems that where Fab goes…Adrienne will be.

But in an interview with Power 105.1 personality Cherry Martinez, she said that the two are not getting it in, but are simply really good friends. Mhmmm. That’s probably what Cassie said too.

“We’re over it. We’re literally like 3 years into saying that I date Fab! Em [Emily], me and Fab … we’re over it.” She continues: “My best friend Ashley is Fab’s assistant. Like we’re literally a family, a crew, we all hang out together. And that’s totally normal guys. Like that’s normal. I actually don’t think I’ve ever hung out with Fab by myself. If ever someone can find me a picture of me and Fab alone–anywhere in life– PLEASE come forward. Come forward. Leak it to the blogs. We hang out … I’m great friends with his manager and we’re all friends.”

Once again: mhmm. Have Emily tell it on Love & Hip Hop, and it seems that Fab didn’t really want to make time to be at home with her when she wanted him there, but he sure gets snapped at all these random events with Adrienne. Not that this is an all too important life or death situation, but I’m pretty sure we were all giving her appearances around town with him the side eye after a while, because she sure spends more time with him than she does singing, acting or doing things to put her name back out there for her talents. I just wonder if I were in Emily’s shoes, if I would be so excited about someone I’m with (off and on) being seen out more with another female (who I doubt he was besties with before we got together), snapping and taking photos with her when he had me playing in the background for years–like Quasimodo–so people wouldn’t know I was his woman. But he’s grinning and cheesing with her any and everywhere? No matter what’s going on between Adrienne and Fab, that comes off a bit shady in my opinion. But hey, if Emily is cool with it and gets it, then it I guess it’s all good! That’s all that “being realistic” ish, right? (*sarcasm*)
