TMZ is known for getting the scoop on all things celebrity, most of the time before anyone else knows about it. They have spies pretty much everywhere.
But when they get things wrong, they have a tendency to get it really wrong…and they don’t always admit to their mistakes (often just omitting a sentence and acting like it never happened).
By now, we all know rapper Lil Wayne has been hospitalized for seizures (there were reports that he slipped into a coma but he or someone from the team tweeted he was okay). While his condition was apparently listed as critical, TMZ took it upon themselves to run a story that said Wayne was being read his “last rites” which happens when a person is on their death bed. They’ve since taken the story down but didn’t even apologize for printing something that was incorrect and unverified.
Well, T.I., who is a good friend of the rapper, got wind of the story and he was not too pleased. He took to his Twitter account to let TMZ know that he was…upset. We warn you, the screencapped tweets are chock full o’ cuss words so if that’s not what you want to see, scroll on down.
That was probably putting it lightly. Although his language was extremely harsh, it appears his heart was in the right place. As a family friend, he was trying to shield the negative and incorrect stories from Wayne’s family members.
Hopefully those seizures were not a result of his alleged habit of drinking sizzurp but if so, we’d hope T.I also played the role of big brother is talking to Wayne about giving that up.
If you’re already bored with La La’s Full Court Life and don’t have the stomach for the ratchet behavior of Basketball Wives, which is coming back soon, we’ve got the perfect programming for you. The first family of VH1 is back!
Just when you thought you couldn’t get enough of T.I., Tiny and the rest of the humongous pack, the hustling family will be back for another season of T.I. And Tiny’s Family Hustle on VH1 come April. After stalling, VH1 finally decided to pick the show back up for a third season, which is a great idea since the series has helped to make Mondays a ratings winner for the channel and was well-received by viewers for its positivity and humor (who knew T.I. was so funny!?). In the upcoming season, we’ll see the rapper happily getting back into the spotlight after the release of his successful album, Troubleman: Heavy is the Head and his role in Identity Thief, and Tiny staying busy trying to create a new girl group, French Kiss, while still trying to keep the OMG Girlz afloat. Per the usual, with all their business endeavors, and their larger than life family, the rapper and his lady do their best to balance their busy careers and keep their biggest focus on their family at the same time. It’s not easy! Expect big laughs and a bit of fun foolery from the show’s biggest star…King. Don’t front, you know you love that child with his bad behind.
If you’re still down for the fam, be sure to check out season three of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle when it premieres on Monday, April 8 10PM ET/PT on VH1.
Cute kid alert! Or I guess Reginae Carter isn’t really a kid anymore, she’s a teenager! And now that she’s getting older, moms has her out there taking promotional photos for a possible acting career. Recently Toya tweeted photos of 13-year-old Reginae as she cheesed it up and posed for a photo shoot. She said, “My princess getting her makeup done by @lovejenmakeup for acting demo and website. #superstarinthemaking[sic].” Hey, if Master P’s daughter Cymphonique could get a Nickelodeon TV show, this young lady better start getting herself prepared for stardom!
Through the photos, she seems to look exactly like Toya, but I do see Weezy in the eyes! Outside of acting, the teen is also doing music (she did have a short stint in the OMG Girlz with Tiny’s daughter Zonnique). She has teamed up with friend Lourdes “Lolo” Rodriguez and made the group, Nae Nae and Lolo, and they’re signed to YMCMB. Cute! Make that money early…

If you watched “T.I. and Tiny’s Family Hustle” this season, you might recall the couple’s oldest daughter Zonnique asking for two cars for her upcoming 16th birthday. Well this weekend, the “OMG Girl’s” Sweet 16 came and went, but instead of two cars, papa T.I. just bought her one really nice one—a Porsche.
The car was the icing on the cake of the extravagant celebrity party T.I. and Tiny threw Zonnique Saturday night in the ATL. From being carried in on a throne like an Egyptian Princess, to live giraffes and camels, and spending the night with Nelly, Christian Combs, Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae, Diggy Simmons, and Misa Hylton Brimm, I’d say Zonnique had a pretty memorable 16th. And to match the white 2012 Cayenne Porsche she was handed the keys to, her parents also gave her two small white Pomeranian puppies.
T.I.’s going to have a lot to live up to when his other five kids hit this age. Check out pics of the birthday bash on Necole Bitchie.com. What do you think of her party?
