From Tiger Woods To Ochocinco: The 10 Worst Husbands In Hollywood

From YourTango

Jesse James deceived us all as he played doting husband to America’s Sweetheart Sandra Bullock for five years. Then his affair with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee became headline news. Even three years later, it’s not far from the public’s mind.

James’, 43, name is back in the news this week as he’s just walked down the aisle for the fourth time.  Bride no. 4 is 35-year-old Alexis DeJoria, a professional drag racer—and the daughter of billionaire John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of Paul Mitchell hair products. The couple, dating for seven months, got engaged after only one month together. Both have kids from previous relationships.

In 2011, James also popped the question to tattoo artist Kat Von D, but his repeat cheating prevented them from tying the knot.

After three failed marriages and the gusto to try for a fourth time, it’s clear James likes the idea of marriage. But that does not mean he’s good at it. And not surprisingly, he’s got a lot of A-list company in the Worst Hollywood Husbands Club. (Do you think these guys have secret group meetings to discuss just how terrible they are at being husbands?)

1. Tiger Woods

If a Tiger can’t change his stripes, can Tiger Woods stop being a cheetah? In one of the most epic cheating scandals to ever grace a public figure, Tiger Woods’ numerous infidelities were front-page news for weeks. After the majority (we think) of the mistresses came forward, Tiger sought treatment for his sex addiction. He lost his beautiful wife Elin along the way, and she’s since moved on with billionaire Chris Cline. While Tiger’s got his golf game back, we can’t imagine any woman on the planet thinking he’s marriage material—even you Lindsey Vonn.

About That No-Contact Order: Evelyn’s Letting Restraint Against Chad Expire

Chad’s punishment for headbutting his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada is about to be over almost as quickly as their marriage. According to TMZ, Ochocinco is pretty close to fulfilling the obligations of his sentencing stemming from the domestic altercation. When that happens, the no-contact order that banned the former NFL player from contacting Evelyn in person, by phone, email, and Twitter will be lifted and supposedly Evelyn is just fine with that.

Sources close to the ex-couple tell TMZ, Chad’s on track to finish his batterer’s intervention program in the next couple months — at which point Chad will ask the judge to terminate his probation and lift the no-contact order.

If that happens, Evelyn would have to get a civil restraining order to keep Chad away — but we’re told she has decided NOT to do that … because she just wants to “move on.”

Chad was sentenced to one year probation and the batterer’s class after pleading “no contest” to domestic battery following the August 11 fight with Evelyn — but since he’s completing the class early … the judge can also lift the probation early.

Despite Evelyn’s decision … we’re told she does NOT want a reunion with Chad.

Gracias a Dios for that last clarification. What’s sort of comical is that Evelyn already assumes Chad has been contacting her on the low, i.e. Twitter stalking her, tweeting this message last week:

Guess she doesn’t mind if he stalks her in real life either. Do you think Evelyn should petition for a civil restraining order?

No Jail Time — Again — For Chad In Domestic Battery Case

Chad better be counting his lucky stars because he’ll be able to spend that time he says he wants to devote to working on himself outside the bars of a jail cell. This morning the former Miami Dolphin and ex-husband of Evelyn Lozada was sentenced in the domestic battery case against the “Basketball Wife” and he got off pretty easy. According to TMZ:

Chad showed up to a Florida courtroom for his sentencing this morning, where he pled “no contest” to a charge of domestic battery, stemming from the violent August 11th argument with Lozada over a condom receipt.

In exchange for the plea, Chad escaped a jail sentence — but was sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to enroll in a batterers intervention program.

The judge also issued a no-contact order for the duration of his probation, blocking Chad from contacting Evelyn in any way — no email, no Twitter, no nothing.

Chad was also ordered to pay restitution — but the amount won’t be determined ’til next week.

Considering Chad has lost virtually everything else except his freedom, he ought to still have gleamed some sort of lesson from this situation. Let’s hope.

I Now Pronounce You Mr. Johnson And Ms. Lozada: Chad And Ev Officially Divorced

There will be no long drawn-out divorce battle between Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada because as of this morning, the two have officially parted ways—legally.

PEOPLE broke the story with an exclusive from Evelyn’s lawyer, Michael Gilden, who told the mag:

“Evelyn and Mr. Johnson were divorced this morning in an uncontested final hearing. My client is a single woman and looks forward to her future.”

That was some speedy work.

After Chad decided to file his own paperwork last week I guess there wasn’t much else to discuss regarding their month-long marriage. We’ll definitely be watching to see where exactly these two end up now that they’ve gone their separate ways.

He’s Ready To Sign Them Papers: Chad Finally Woke Up And Filed His Own Divorce Docs

Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada are one step closer to being Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada, as in separate, unmarried, single entities. Though Chad initially resisted the reality that his marriage was in a junk yard somewhere, walking around in t-shirts with subtle love messages, tatting Evelyn’s face on his leg, and mentioning her in his Twitter Bio, according to TMZ, he’s finally woken up and smelled the coffee. Or the stench of a jail, considering he was officially charged with domestic battery yesterday. Either way, the site says Chad has filed his own divorce papers, recognizing that his 30-something-day marriage to Evelyn is “irrevocably broken.”

Johnson filed the papers yesterday in a Florida court … in response to the docs Evelyn filed back on August 14. In his papers, Chad admits the two have a prenup that he believes should be enforced — especially the part about who pays for the lawyers.

According to the docs, Johnson wants a judge to BLOCK Evelyn’s request that Chad foot the bill for her legal fees … citing a provision in the prenup in which the two sides agreed to pay their own way if they were to split up.

The divorce has not been finalized yet … but at this point, it’s only a matter of time … and sources close to Evelyn tell us she’s “ecstatic” and ready to move on.

Let It Go Bruh: Chad Refuses To Sign Divorce Papers

September 10th, 2012 - By Brande Victorian

Source: avahtaylor.com

We should all honor Chad’s request to not feel sorry for his black a** because although it seemed like the former NFL player was going to use his altercation with Evelyn as a teachable moment, it seems Ochocinco still hasn’t learned his lesson.

“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada wasted no time drafting divorce papers after Chad head-butted her one month ago, but it appears Chad is going to waste plenty of time avoiding the documents he’s been served. According to TMZ, he refuses to sign the divorce papers because, to put it simply, he doesn’t want to get a divorce. This isn’t a huge shock considering this is the same man who just plastered Evelyn’s face on his calf last weekend, what may be surprising to him though is that it doesn’t necessarily matter if he signs the papers or not.

As TMZ tells it, under Florida law a divorce can be finalized with a judge’s approval. Given the domestic incident and the cheating on Chad’s behalf that it resulted from, I’d say Evelyn has a pretty good case for the dissolution. In the month that has passed since the incident, Evelyn hasn’t wavered in her response regarding whether she thinks her relationship with Chad can be repaired. As recent as her latest interview with PEOPLE which hit newsstands Friday, she told the magazine she was leaving her broken marriage. She also told Nightline she didnt think there was anything Chad could say to her that would change her mind. On the other hand, Chad is convinced that losing his career and his wife are temporary and he’s going to get both back, as stated in the video below. Good luck with that.

Evelyn Tells PEOPLE She Always Knew To Back Down When Chad Got A Certain Look In His Eye

In another of the many exclusives Evelyn is giving on her divorce from Chad Johnson, the reality TV star had a sit-down with PEOPLE for two pages worth of a chat on the drama that’s come to characterize her existence. Getting a little deeper than the Nightline interview, Evelyn talked about why she’s leaving Chad and what she plans to do now. Here are some snippets from the feature we caught on The Jasmine Brand.

Why she was mad at the condom receipt

“I’m not naïve. I didn’t think he was going to be perfect, but three weeks after we got married? I feel like he wasn’t even trying.”

Sorry, I just have to interject here. This clearly suggests Chad hadn’t tackled his cheating desires before walking down the aisle (probably because he wasn’t asked to) so why would you even marry someone who you knew had likely been creeping right up until the night before the wedding? Would it have been better if the receipt came three months later?

Alright back to our regularly scheduled program.

What happened the night of the altercation

He flew into a rage, grabbed her face, and head-butted her in the face…Then she went to the hospital for five or six stiches.

“I had blood in my eyes. I was tasting it. I remember realizing, oh my God, the news is going to get out. I was so humiliated.”

Chad’s dark side

“I always knew [to back down] when he got that look in his eye. It was scary.”

Lozada also alludes to past “situations” but won’t elaborate out of respect for Johnson’s four young children.

Whether she was violent with him

“I never once lifted a finger to Chad; not that day, not prior. I never attempted to do anything to him.”

How she feels about Chad now

“I’ll always have love for him…Chad is not a bad person, but he made a bad choice.”

Evelyn’s feature is in the current issue of PEOPLE which hit newsstands today. What do you think about her interview?

No Hard Feelings: Jen Says She Was Distraught Over Evelyn’s Attack

Source: Blog.VH1

When people heard about what went down between Chad and Evelyn, everyone assumed that Jen was pointing and laughing from the outside thinking, “I told you so,” considering that Ev’s relationship with Chad was the basic reason the friends fell out. But in an interview with Hip Hollywood, Jen said she had quite the opposite reaction and even reached out to Evelyn after she heard the news.

“I did reach out to her just because when things like that happen, you just put all the other BS to the side. I wouldn’t want to see my worst enemy go through that,” she said.

“I was very distraught to hear that. I think everyone knows I was a big advocate against violence, regardless of whether it was domestic violence or whether it was women fighting.

“I don’t agree with violence. That isn’t how I was raised. I don’t think it’s right whether it’s on a TV show, or whether it’s in Starbucks or whether it’s in your home.”

Talk about being the bigger person. Evelyn did nothing but bash Jen the entire last season of “Basketball Wives” — and literally tried to bash her face in a couple of times. Though the two semi-reconciled on the reunion, it’s been clear things still aren’t quite back to normal. Now, Evelyn’s whole sense of normal has been turned upside down, but according to Jen:

“She’s trying to bounce back.”

Check out her full interview below. What do you think about what she said?

Someone Please Call 911: Chad Tats Evelyn’s Name And Face On His Leg

With someone as animated as Ochocino, it’s hard to tell when his antics are part of his normal over-the-top personality or a cry for help. Either way, when it comes to him getting a tattoo of Evelyn’s face and name on his leg, it is not a good look.

Source: USA Today

See.

The saddest thing is that Chad got the tat this weekend, you know, after he headbutted Evelyn and got fired from the Miami Dolphins and lost his reality show and she filed for divorce. It seems Chad is as delusional about his marital status as Evelyn is about being the face of domestic violence because when his Twitter followers asked him why in the world would he would permanently ink the face of a woman who plans to divorce him on his body, he said:

Divorce? Child please… that’s my WIFE

I dont give a flying pretzel in skittle rainbow hell what she filed for…

Naturally, everyone decided ol’ boy has lost it, but according to him, he “never had it to begin with,” adding, “I march to the beat of my own drum, F public opinion…”

And as if professing his love for Evelyn on his body wasn’t enough, he also felt the need to do so in his Twitter bio which now reads:

Don’t follow me… I’m not perfect… I’m not a role model… I’m not into acting yet… Oh and i love all of that from the E to the N

I hope he doesn’t think that’s going to bring her back — not that it took much to get her in the first place.

We gone pray for this brotha.

The Interview Tears We’ve Been Waiting On: Evelyn’s ABC Special Preview

August 31st, 2012 - By Brande Victorian

Source: Necole Bitchie

TMZ proves they are the masters of insider tips once again because Evelyn did in fact sit down with ABC’s Amy Robach to discuss her troubled relationship with Chad Johnson and we’ve got a preview of the special right here.

From the snippet of the exclusive posted below and the transcript highlights posted on NecoleBitchie.com, this interview is everything we expected: a whole lot of tears, a whole lot of finger-pointing, a whole lot of PR. Evelyn says that she hasn’t spoken to Chad since the incident which occurred August 11, and goes into detail about what happened the night he head-butted her, what led up to that altercation, and why she decided to file for divorce. The special airs tonight at 11:30 on ABC, but for now check out these highlights:

What she wants to hear from Chad
I would like for him to tell me that he got help and that he is working on himself, whenever I talk to my sister or my girlfriend, I always say I want the best for him. I really do! And he is a good guy who made a bad choice. He loves football, he is very driven, a great dad. He made a bad choice that destroyed his life and I hate that I’m connected to that, I do, but it was his choice. It wasn’t mine.

It would have to take sometime [for us to speak again]. I love him very much and I think that us being away from each other is the right thing. So when is he going to say sorry? [...] It’s the hardest thing in the world to walk away from someone that you really love/ But you have to walk away because I have to protect myself.

On the events leading up to the head-butting incident
And then the next thing I know, he grabbed me by here [pointing to her head] and he head-butted me. I felt blood coming down my face… and I looked at him and I said, ‘You just head-butted me?’ And it just — everything just felt if it was in slow motion.

He was gone to me, like, it wasn’t him. He got out of the car, really, really quick and ran into the house, and I said to myself, ‘I need to get out of here.

On the decision to file for divorce
I said to myself, ‘I’m never going to go through that again, ever. I don’t think any woman should ever have to feel like that or be fearful of her husband.

I was a very good fiancé and wife to Chad. I did everything I could to make his life better. The person on ‘Basketball Wives’ is not the person at home. I don’t think he would marry me if I was.”

Will you watch tonight?
