So we know we weren’t the only ones side-eyeing Big Sean’s coming out with Glee actress Naya Rivera at the “42″ premiere in New York City last week. Though we thought the 20-somethings looked super cute being playful on the red carpet together, we couldn’t help but wonder if Sean was proving Kanye’s notorious “Goldigger” line right: “And when he get on he leaves your a** for a white/light/more popular/Hollywood girl.” In an interview with The Urban Informer of DC’s 93.9 WKYS radio station, he said that’s not the case.

“I’ve been dating [Naya] for a little while. That event (’42 Premier’) was one of the first big events to come up while I was dating her and we were like let’s go to it. I’m kinda a private person and she’s a private person and the thing is I had a girlfriend too before that who I was with since I was like…I’ve always kinda been in a relationship, since I was like 18 or 19 when I got with her and things didn’t work out, but not because of this music stuff. Just because sometimes when you’re with somebody, and you’re 18 and you grow up — and it was long distance. She lived in NY, I lived in LA… you grow apart as people. It was nothing more or nothing less, it’s not like I’ve changed. People look at me like ‘oh you moved to Hollywood’ nah it’s not like that at all. We just really had our differences and it just didn’t work out. It may work out later, we may come back to it, who knows. As far as Naya, it’s something new… Our relationship is cool. She’s tight.”

Well, there we have it. No new money shadyness just “something new.” Interesting that there’s still a window of opportunity to get back with his old thang though. We do know they always come back…

Last time we checked, Big Sean was dating a young lady he had been with for a long while who was from Detroit. On the other side of the fence, Naya Rivera was in a relationship with her “Glee” co-star, Mark Salling, who played Noah “Puck” Puckerman. Well, these relationships clearly didn’t work out in the end, because as of yesterday, the popular rapper and beautiful actress are now dating one another, and seem maaaaad happy about. Well really, he seems pretty geeked about it compared to her, but then again, she could be too busy trying to serve fierce on the red carpet pics of the two together.

The couple made their debut to the world while at the premiere of 42 in New York City. Just a few days earlier, they were also seen together at Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour stop in Los Angeles, and that started many of the rumors of their boo-ship.

I’m sure you’re wondering, what happened to Big Sean and that longtime girlfriend we saw every once in a blue moon? They had been together for five years, and in an interview with Bossip last June, he actually stated they they had broken up. “We just recently broke up, but we still in each other’s lives and we probably will get back together…we’re just figuring it out.”

But he has seemingly moved on with the actress, and now that he has, it makes his statements last December to Angie Martinez about how he snagged a new lady in his life all the more interesting, especially since they could be about Rivera:

“I got somebody special. I ain’t just out here ratchet running through all of these little h*es after the shows. I got something special.”

“The girl that I’m real serious with is the girl I had a crush on since I was 15.  So now I got her — eventually. I always tried to get at her and she had a boyfriend. I had a girlfriend too, but I was running wild back then. One day, I said ‘You got to stop playing and hop on this. What’s up?!’  I said that in so many words. So she was like ‘Man you are crazy,’ so I took her out everyday for like a week.”

Interesting…Well, Rivera and the rapper are definitely a cute couple, but just seeing their body language at the moment, we’re wondering if you think this will go far? So?

Before she was out in these streets singing about the freaky things you should keep on the low with Ja Rule and dipping it low and picking it up slow, Christina Milian was just a young lady with a big ‘ol head of hair, playing the dance partner of young Roland in The Wood. In her short role in the film, she gets upset by Roland and Slim’s nosy attention over Mike and Alicia finally getting to slow dance together. She eventually tells him, “Why don’t you go dance with her then!?” flips her loooong curly hair and makes a dramatic exit. Interesting, this sounds like a scene from most of Milian’s movies…I’m just saying.

Model Selita Ebanks showed up for the 29th Annual Fashion Group International Night of Stars event in NYC shimmering and shiny in this light blue metallic floor-length gown. The material on the dress was ruched and draped around her body, and around the waist was a wide band that sat above her sassy slit. She threw on strappy silver heels with a silver clutch, small chandelier earrings, a bold wine-colored lip and had a black fur in hand. While it’s a pretty dress, something about it isn’t flattering on her figure and it seems like a gown better suited for an older woman. Plus, the hair is a little blah. Pretty girl, but I’ll have to pass on this ensemble.

With another awards show under Hollywood’s belt, it’s only natural that we do our part and congratulate judge the actors even further. Sometimes I really feel like I’m the only one that remembers this chick being on an episode of “Smart Guy” and “Family Matters” way back in the day when she was a little one…

But boy has she grown up! Ms. Naya Rivera is now a star on the Fox hit show “Glee” playing the resident bad girl cheerleader, Santana Lopez. And homegirl also does some singing, and even has a contract with Columbia Records to back it up. But to the task at hand! Earlier this week, Rivera showed up at the premiere of the FX Channel’s “American Horror Story,” a show created by Glee creator Ryan Murphy. On the red carpet, the actress and singer popped up in a short color block dress that has an open back. Her jewelry was almost invisible (I’m guessing she might have on some earrings), and she finished up the look with satin red strapped heels.

I don’t know about you, but I’m digging this look. It’s very simple, but still eye-catching.  I really like the romantic hair with the look and the minimal makeup, as well as the fierce shoes that give the dress some pop. And the open slit on the back is pretty fly as well. Only thing I’d change is maybe adding some bangles or bracelets in the mix. But I’m just an accessory fiend like that.
