What’s the difference between them: the miracle events/changes of heart that somehow make a couple still work after all those dizzying, heartbreaking and nauseating twists and turns. That “ah ha!” moment when suddenly the jerk just knows how to be a good person overnight, or the woman just realizes her husband of twenty years is an a**hole and her best friend is perfect for her.
