7 of Michael Ealy’s Hottest Looks

Source: StyleBlazer.com
Though the television season is winding down, there’s one new show (and particularly one man) we’re looking forward to this spring and summer. Michael Ealy’s USA series “Common Law” just debuted and we already can’t get enough of him and those dreamy eyes. He’s known for playing heavier or romantic roles but this time he’s flexing his comedic chops in the buddy cop show.
But seriously, does it matter what type of role Michael’s playing? Either way, we swoon hardcore over this man. Though we’d love seeing him with little on, he looks amazing in a suit or dressed casually in jeans and a button down. A fashionably well-rounded man is always StyleBlazer approved.
Peep seven of his finest moments at StyleBlazer.com.

Bad Never Looked So Good: Fine Fictional Characters That Scared Us For Real

Source: mylazythoughts.tumblr.com
When I watch a movie, if it’s good, I’m all in. Completely invested, often times too much so. Throughout the duration of the movie, I struggle with the characters. When they laugh, I laugh. When they cry, I cry. I go through it. And if the film is really good, I find myself trying to find solutions to the problems they encountered, long after the movie is over. Some stories and the characters in them just stick with you. This is particularly true when it comes to the “bad guys.” From an early age we think we know who falls into that category and we try to avoid the bad dudes at all costs. But in these memorable movies, the bad guy is thrown in your face. You have to deal with him and sometimes he’s a bit terrifying. See who I’m talking about.

Taraji and “Think Like a Man” Castmates Cover May Issue of Essence

Source: theybf.com
Now that April is here, promotion for “Think Like a Man” is everywhere these days. Including here, at MN. So it really comes as no surprise that the cast of a movie targeted towards black women, would show up on Essence. In this May issue, Taraji, Kevin Hart, along with Michael Ealy will make an appearance on the book in one cover and Taraji will appear by herself on the other.
What do you think of the pics? I for one am loving Taraji’s nail polish. And both fellas are looking pretty good too.

Michael Ealy: Women Don’t Really Need To Think Like a Man
Michael Ealy is gearing up for the premiere of the new film “Think Like a Man,” based on Steve Harvey’s bestselling book, and of course everyone wants to know just how true the actor thinks the idea behind the book and the movie is.
The Huffington Post recently got a chance to speak with Michael about his role in the film, and when they asked him if more women should think like men, he said “not really.”
“I think women should have insight as to how men think. Just like men should have insight into how women think. One of the things that this movie does is, everybody looks at the dating game as just that: a game. But with this movie we bring you through that with the gamesmanship and ‘I’m doing this and you’re doing that,’ and all of that chess-playing back and forth. But what brings this movie home in the end is the fact that everyone feels a sense of connection with the other person, which surmounts the gamesmanship. And everybody is able to put the games away and be themselves and that’s where they find the true connection.”
He sounds like a man who might know a thing or two about love, but Michael says he never got any help from relationship books.
“I wasn’t smart enough to read relationship books when I was coming up. I learned everything the hard way. And I, like Dominic, would listen to my dumb-a** friends. At a certain point you’re like, ‘I got this, thank you!’”
Dominic is the character Michael will play in the movie, and from his description, he’s the type of man a lot of women might pass on because he doesn’t quite have his stuff together just yet.
“Dominic is the dreamer, and he finds himself in love with Lauren, who is a very career-driven woman, and basically is having a really hard time finding his focus and his drive to execute what he wants out of life. In meeting his muse, who’s played by Taraji [P. Henson], the character of Lauren, he finds the execution, he finds the self-motivation. It’s just a great character arc.”
Michael may not have read a book to learn about relationships, but he said he did draw on his own past to figure out how to play this character.
“I definitely paid homage to a few people that I dated in my past who I’ve met and felt like, ‘Okay, you’re a dreamer, you just don’t have the execution right now.’ There’s something very beautiful and compelling about someone who has ambition and someone who knows what they want, but it can get a little frustrating at times, so I understand that. I have sympathy for that. And so I tried to play him accordingly, I tried to give him a little bit of vulnerability and a dreamer’s sensibility. He’s just one of the boys. He’s not a standout guy, so he listens to his boys for all kinds of bad advice. But don’t we all? [Laughs]“
I don’t know about you, but this interview upped my excitement for the movie. What do you think about Michael Ealy’s thoughts on relationships and this movie?

Michael Ealy Thanks Black Women for Their Support
Michael Ealy didn’t have to give us another reason to love him but we like that he did anyway. In a recent interview at the premiere of his new film “Underworld,” Michael took a second to thank the “beautiful black women” who have supported him during his career and he also talked about how he feels about being labeled a sex symbol.
Check out highlights of his interview:
On his role in “For Colored Girls”
“I genuinely love all the beautiful Black women that came up to me and wanted to hug me after that performance. It wasn’t an easy one, and I was worried that people would look at me differently after that so the amount of support I got was tremendous.”
On Being a Sex Symbol
“If someone wants to put that title on me, God bless them. I don’t carry myself as such, and I will never, ever think of myself as such. For me, the most important thing when I came into this business is to show some sort of talent so I can have longevity and not be another pretty face.
“I’ll take the sex appeal label. I’ll take that label any day of the week. It’s better than not being that guy, so I’ll take it.”
The Best Way to His Heart
“Compassion and consideration for others. There’s nothing worse than a selfish woman. Selfish and self-absorbed? Walk away. I can’t deal with you.”
What He Likes Physically
“I like long legs.”
Check out the rest of the interview here.
