Though Meagan Good has been very open about her and her fiancé’s celibacy throughout their relationship, she managed to keep their wedding plans completely under wraps. Just last month in an interview with Life & Style she told the magazine that she’d found a venue and come up with a theme for the ceremony, making it seem as though the nuptials were far off in the distance, but over the weekend she and her preacher/movie producer boo tied the knot, jumped the broom, and made it official.

The couple exchanged vows in front of 400 guests Saturday evening at the Triunfo Creek Winery in Malibu, CA, in the Spanish and bayouo-themed ceremony Meagan said she wanted, according to PEOPLE. The actress told the magazine:

“DeVon makes me better, makes my life fuller, and completes my quality of life. He’s truly on my team and I am truly on his. God revealed my heart to him like nobody else.”

For the ceremony, Meagan wore jewelry by Jason the Jeweler and a custom R-Mine gown with a purple dipped train that matched the purple roses, tulips, and rustic gold decorations of the venue. Meagan told PEOPLE she specifically didn’t want a girly dress.

“I wanted handsome,” she said. It’s got a bit of a masculine feel to it. I wanted something that felt a tad bit rebellious and out of the ordinary. That felt closer to my personality.”

Meagan walked down the aisle to “These Arms,” performed by Jeffrey Lewis of the Craig Lewis Band and at the reception, Shanice sang “Loving You.” Other famous guests included new couple Tracey Edmonds and Deion Sanders, Derek Luke, and Tasha Smith.

The couple plans to head to Big Sur for a “mini-moon,” now that they’re husband and wife, and then during the holidays they’ll go on a honeymoon after Meagan finishes filming her new NBC show, “Infamous.” The actress told PEOPLE that she’ll legally add Franklin to her name but continue to use Meagan Good as her on-screen moniker. As far as babies go, she says she and her husband are in no rush:

“We want to make sure that when we bring a child into this world we give it our full attention,” she said, with Devon adding that they want to “get to know each other as husband and wife,” first.

“There is so much going on,” Meagan said. “But it’s wonderful to have a partner to have so much fun with!”
