If Rick Ross and Lil Wayne have taught us anything, it’s that you had better watch your filthy mouth, because it could very well hurt your pockets. But they aren’t the first celebrities to get the boot from a company for acting a complete donkey. Or in the case of some of the celebrities on this list, for just being themselves. Here are 10 who lost lucrative endorsement deals over the years because of their antics.

Chris Brown

It still makes me sad to think about how on top of the world Chris Brown USED to be. Back in 2008, he was the guy every mom wanted their young daughters to date, and he was blowing everybody’s mind with his great dance moves and catchy songs. But then that terrible altercation occurred the night before the Grammys in February of 2008, and his fame was forever altered. And of course, he was also hit in the pockets. Brown was dropped as the spokesperson for Wrigley’s gum, and while you might say, “Who cares about some Doublemint Gum?” if it wasn’t for writing jingle for the company, we would never have “Forever” (“Double your pleasure, double your fuuuuuun…”).

It’s no secret how professional athletes attract A-list celebrities. The million dollar paychecks, fame, and power an NBA or NFL superstar can hold is a magnet for some women more than others. Here’s a look at 15 celebrity women who just can’t get enough of athletes.

Gabrielle Union has dated athletes for over a decade. The 40-year-old actress was married to former NFL running back Chris Howard for five years. Union moved on to safety Darren Sharper for a year before setting her sights on a new sport and new man. The Think Like A Man actress has been romantically linked to NBA superstar Dwayne Wade since 2008 and has stuck by the Miami Heat player’s side through a public and narsty divorce and custody case with his former wife Siovaughn.

Every now and then, sometimes you want to break from your mundane 9-5 to pursue a side passion in a different career.  Some people become painters, create crafts, write novels, all while maintaining their current professions and celebrities are no different.  We’ve done this post a few years back, now let’s add to it.  Here’s how these celebrities get their hustle on once they’ve stepped out of the camera’s view.

Daniel Day-Lewis – Carpenter

The Oscar winning actor, who has appeared in such blockbusters like Kings of New York, There Will be Blood, and Lincoln has a passion of using his hands and carpentry.  When’s he’s not appearing in great movies, or accepting awards for his roles, he’s off cobbling shoes and building things.  He has been hired to build the sets of the movie The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.

Eating healthy and working out can only build so much natural muscle mass, so how is it that some celebrities go from flab to bulked up fab in short amounts of time with nothing more than (what they claim is) good old fashioned diet and exercise? It makes no sense – especially to those of us who actually diet and exercise… The point is, steroid use is a reality, and these 15 celebs look like they may be living it.

Terry Crews

It’s long been rumored that Terry Crews used steroids to achieve that ridiculously ripped body – but not everyone agrees. Some people think it’s a combination of healthy living, black genes (we already know that’s a plus!), and possible supplement intake. What do you think?

I used to wonder why people would go on a reality show with the attempt of progressing their careers.  It just didn’t seem to make sense to me, but when you look at some celebrities, controversy would be the thing to not only build their career, but would also define it.  Now there’s a difference of people who have been in controversial situations, and people who have used it to create or maintain their status in public appearance.  We’re discussing the latter.  Here is a list of famous people who seem to let their infamous behaviors open doors for them.

By now we all know that Madonna can be a bit out there. Especially when it comes to her stage performances. You know humping the stage in a tattered wedding dress, stripping, doing cartwheels with the likes of M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj. You never know quite what you’re going to get when you spend a night with Madge.

Last night, in Washington D.C. was no different.

In the middle of her concert, the pop icon endorsed President Obama, even writing “Obama” on her back. She told the crowd:

“Y’all better vote for f**king Obama, OK? For better or worse, all right? We have a black Muslim in the White House. Now that’s some amazing Shyte. It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, so support the man, goddamnit.”

Maybe since Madonna had been overseas for so long she’s a bit out of touch with what’s going on stateside. While it would be great for this country to get to a point where we can elect a Muslim, President Obama is not that dude. In fact, the rumor that he ever was or is still a Muslim is one that many believe was another tactic his opponents (and the Tea Party) used in an attempt to discredit him.

If I were interested in developing some type of conspiracy theory, I could argue that Madonna was trying to underhandedly sabotage President Obama’s reelection campaign; but since I’m not (today), I just chalk it up to a huge, ignorant slip.

If you were one of those people worried for Lauryn Hill after finding out that her ex, and the father of five of her children, Rohan, was getting married to someone else, it looks like you have nothing to be worried about. In a recent picture of the mom and her kids, she and the brood are all smiles. The two oldest individuals on the far right are Nico and Eden, Rohan’s children from a previous relationship with “ex-wife” Geraldine Khawly. The others are Sarah (the cutie with the braids), Selah (in the striped shirt), Micah (being held), John and Joshua (in the far right). Little Micah is the baby boy that Hill had last year (he isn’t Rohan’s son). These kids are too cute! And may I add, Nico and Eden look exactly alike. Kind of cool, a little creepy, but very cute. And the Marley children aren’t the only ones who went on a vacation recently. Madonna and her growing family flew to Tel Aviv, Israel for her concert, and before her performance, her kids hit the beach. Her daughter, Mercy James, and son, David Banda Mwale Ciccone Ritchie, played around and seemed to have a good time while mom watched from the balcony above. Geez, I remember when these two were tiny! Time sure does fly…
