Husbands On Deck: Reports Claim Kim And Kanye Are Getting Married Immediately After Birth Of Their Child

WENN.com
After finally reaching a divorce settlement with ex Kris Humphries last month, rumor has it that Kim Kardashian is ready to be wifed up again, and very soon. But first thing first–she has to have that baby.
According to Radar Online, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will allegedly be trying to tie the knot in Los Angeles soon after their little one comes into the world. The source, an individual close to the Kardashians, told Radar that Kanye has signed off on “all of the stipulations,” and is down with whichever wedding planner Kim wants. However, he’s not about to have the ceremony become some sort of front-of-the-magazine spectacle, as her marriage to Kris Humphries was. No selling of wedding photos to any magazines for the sake of just having some extra pocket change. But they claim that he reportedly wants to do a short film (no word on what it will specifically be about), and any profits made would go to one of Kim’s charities of choice.
Word is, if the divorce paperwork is finalized in time (the baby is reportedly supposed to arrive in June, after she originally told the media July to throw folks off), all should be good to go. But until then, Yeezy will stay in Paris, doing whatever he’s doing…while Kim jets all over the world to be with him. Ready to pop.
It would be nice if before they actually married, they were in the same place together for more than a few days…I’m just saying. But we’ll have to wait and see what happens won’t we?
You Can Run But You Can’t Hide: Kris Jenner’s Talk Show To Debut July 15
Just as I was thinking that the Kardashian’s have been flying under the radar as of late, news comes out that Kris Jenner — the momager matriarch of the clan — is about to be front and center once again. When we first reported on the possibility of Kris getting her own talk show it was just that, a possibility, but according to The Hollywood Reporter this is really happening and there’s even a debut date for the new show: July 15. Unfortunately, that’s not much time to mentally prepare.
The talk show, simply titled Kris, will be “Pop-culture driven” according to THR, and will feature celebrity guests, fashion and beauty trends, and discussions on lifestyle issues. Fox, which recently decided to dabble in the land of talk shows, is the network behind this new venture and has ordered a six-week test run that will air on Fox-owned stations in New York, Los Angeles, and beyond. If enough people tune in to Kris during that time, the test-run could turn into a nationally syndicated talk show that could air as soon as fall 2014 and would be produced by Twentieth TV. Robert Lifton, the executive producer of the one-hour talk show, seems to think that’s a likely possibility, telling THR:
“Kris has an incredible ability to connect with television viewers, demonstrates a wide range of interests and can successfully embrace light fare and conversation. She has a fantastic chance to be a true breakout personality in the daytime television space.”
And let’s not forget she has Kim. As long as people are interested in her daughter, her soon-t0-be-born grandchild, and her one-day-maybe son-in-law Kanye West, Kris will likely never have to worry about ratings. So, yeah, basically that Kardashian reign just won’t let up.
Would you watch her talk show?
Don’t You Be On That Bull: Judge Orders Chris Brown Back To Court In June For ‘Faulty’ Community Service Hearing
Things just might not be looking up for Chris Brown in one aspect after all.
A couple of months ago, we told you about the police chief who resigned after he allegedly signed off on faulty community service hours performed by Chris Brown. Well, his lawyer and the prosecutor met with a judge on Friday to discuss the next steps in what is turning out to be a messy situation.
CNN reports that Brown sat in the courtroom while prosecutor Jackie Lacy and Mark Geragos, Brown’s lawyer, sat behind closed doors with Judge James Brandlin to discuss the evidence which claims Brown’s hours were not accurately met. When the meeting was done, the judge told Brown that he would have to come back to court on June 10th because the lawyers needed more time to sift through additional discovery in his case.
Geragos seems outraged at these claims. So much so that he has asked the judge to punish the district attorneys handling the case and call for a contempt of court hearing for filing false documents. He says this whole situation is not just false but “it is fraudulent.”
Geragos says the prosecutors are “torturing” his client.
Despite the serious allegations, the district attorney’s office is asking that he restart his 1,400 hours of community service, not jail time. She also wants him to be supervised in Los Angeles, where the star currently lives, and nowhere else.
Hopefully, this situation will be resolve with the correct ruling, no matter which side wins.
On a positive note, Brown’s new song “Fine China” has been getting major buzz and putting him in a really good musical place in his life.
“This Generation Doesn’t Really Court Anymore”: Issa Rae Talks Men And New Show!
From Essence
Comedic actress Issa Rae, who is best known as the creator and star of The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl, is opening up about the pilot for her new TV show, I Hate LA Dudes.
The highly anticipated new show is a collaboration with Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes, and it’s name is no joke.
“I really do hate them,” says Rae in a recent interview with Vulture. “I hate the guys. I hate the mentality they have. Everyone’s so chillaxed, the way they speak and carry themselves. They’re very much laid-back in the sense that they feel like they don’t have to pursue you. Especially this generation, they don’t really court women anymore.”
Well, that sounds like some men everywhere! You can get more inside scoop about the show, including whether or not Issa will actually star in the show, over on Essence.
Are you a fan of The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl series? Will you be watching the new show when it hits ABC?
End Of An Era: Jermaine Jackson Officially Changes His Last Name to “Jacksun”
If he were younger, Joe Jackson would tear Jermaine’s behind up over this foolishness.
According to TMZ, a Los Angeles judge granted Jermaine Jackson’s petition to change the spelling of his last name to “Jacksun” on Saturday.
The former Jackson first submitted his petition for the change back in November and only cited “artistic reasons” as the need for this. He wasn’t in court as the announcement was made; instead, he was overseas on tour with his brothers, The Jacksons.
This still seems so weird, doesn’t it? First of all, Jermaine is 58 years old; if you’re just trying to do something to up your entertainment value, it is absolutely too late. You missed the boat and no one cares. Second, while we all know the Jackson family has had their fair share of scandal, if people like Janet and the late Michael never felt the need to change their last name, why does Jermaine?
He couldn’t just start performing and making sure that everything for his stage name was listed as “Jacksun?” What about his children? Apparently, he doesn’t even realize that they now have a different but “still the same” last name.
Perhaps when he’s off tour and back in Los Angeles, Jermaine will reveal what his plans are with this new name.
Skateboard Thugging? Lil Wayne Sued By Fan Who Was Attacked With A Skateboard
So, a stern “no” and maybe even a push off is no longer an option for some security guards, huh?
TMZ has learned that a lawsuit has been filed against Lil Wayne and his record company after a security allegedly attacked a fan trying to take a picture of the rapper.
In the lawsuit filed by attorney Craig Chisvin, his client Alfredo Marino ran into Lil Wayne and his crew on the streets of Los Angeles in May 2012. He tried to take a picture of him but when a person with Wayne – presumably a security guard – saw what he was doing, he grabbed a skateboard and hit Marino in the back of the head with it.
It is pretty unclear where the skateboard came from, if it was owned by Wayne or the victim.
Marino claims he sustained a severe head injury from the attack. He is suing Wayne and the record label because he believes they were responsible for enabling him.
It’s also clear that if he wins this case, he’s likely to get more money out of Wayne and/or his record label versus the person who committed the alleged act.
No word from Wayne, the label or the alleged attacker. Marino is seeking unspecified damages.
Attacked with a skateboard…really? If this is true, that is really going a bit far. Perhaps the victim got too close for comfort and he needed to be removed from the situation but aren’t there ways to use a bit more force without possibly doing harm?
Oh Weezy, you have problems even when you had nothing to do with it.
A Sound Business: Black-Owned Beverly Hills Jazz Club Hits High Note
A new African-American-owned Beverly Hills jazz club is making some noise. H.O.M.E. (House of Music & Entertainment), one of the few black-owned jazz clubs around, is becoming a hot spot in Los Angeles.
Owned by aspiring drummer Dennis “D. Anthony” Robertson, H.O.M.E. opened only weeks ago, in November. Robertson, who got his start promoting acts at B.B. King’s at Universal Studios before delving into management, aims to make H.O.M.E. (which has the cool website HOME90210.com) the premier venue for jazz in Los Angeles.
Located just a block from tony Rodeo Drive, H.O.M.E. is in the heart of Beverly Hills. The venue has 250-plus seats, and so far it’s holding its own against competitors such as the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood and Herb and Eden Alpert’s Vibrato in Bel Air.
Robertson takes the music seriously. He has some of the best sound engineers in town working full time at the club. “The club recently acquired a Yamaha Concert series piano, which is more than seven feet long and rivals any found around here,” according to L.A Weekly.
He has been able to attract a consistent clientele not only because of the music and location but also the food. Robertson describes his approach as “combination of an intimate concert setting and true fine dining,” which, he tells the newspaper, L.A. lacks. Robertson lured in a noteworthy chef, Shawn Davis, to design the menu, which includes entrees like caviar-chive salmon and rack of lamb.
H.O.M.E. offers a weekday jazz lunch (with solo piano) and is planning a Sunday afternoon “Jazz Mystery Theater” with music and audience participation.

We Need A Resolution: Timbaland Suing Insurance Company Over Missing Watch
Producer and “rapper” Timbaland has had enough and he’s not taking it anymore.
According to TMZ, Tim filed a lawsuit last month against American Home Assurance Company for $1.8 million dollars because they have refused to cover the claim of a watch that went missing in 2010.
Timbaland says he paid more than $50,000 in May 2010 to take out an insurance policy that would cover quite a bit of expensive items, including a watch from Jacob the Jeweler. The watch was 18k white gold and draped in over 30 carats of diamonds.
Some kind of way, the watch went missing in August 2010. At that time, Tim was allegedly so upset about it being gone he got his family worked up and they called the police saying they thought he might commit suicide. While Tim told police once they arrived that he was never going to do that, he did tell them that he thought someone he knew stole the watch.
The police started an investigation but it never went anywhere.
But now in the lawsuit against AHA, Timbaland says he thinks his young daughter picked it up and “played with it until she got bored and discarded it somewhere.”
While the value of the watch has not been revealed, the $1.8 million covers the cost of the watch, interest and Tim’s lawyer fees.
There’s been no word from the insurance company as to why they won’t cover the claim.
Oh, the problems of the one percent nation. All I have is a little Michael Kors watch and I guard it as though the plans to change the world are sitting under the face.
Hopefully, all of this will be settled soon.
