Doesn’t it seem like Momma Dee is always meddling and up to no good? Her most recent demonstration of questionable behavior came in the form of an interview. The self-proclaimed “Queen of the South” sat down for an interview with Mara of 4UMF and let’s just say, she held nothing back. During the chat she claimed that Erica has been “abusive” to her son in the past and that she gave up her rights to take Scrappy to court for child support in exchange for a spot on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Check out a few excerpts from the interview below.

On Erica’s  BMM shoot:

“No [she hasn't seen it]. I really don’t care to see my granddaughter’s mother in any other light but being my granddaughter’s mother. When you got a person that wasn’t raised by their mama and don’t have no real values, they tend to wander like that, you know what I’m saying.”

On Erica being abusive to Scrappy:

“People don’t know that Erica is very physically abusive. She’s jumped on my son, and hit him and stuff. And what mother will like a woman that does that off camera? Then people want to point fingers ’cause the TV don’t show you that, and then say, ‘Momma Dee, why you don’t like  Erica?’ Well, where’s your child and daughter? Wouldn’t you protect your child even if they were  grown if your daughter came home and she was jumped on and had black eyes by a man? Wouldn’t you ladies and gentlemen get mad if your 25-year-old son or 29-year-old son had a wife or a girlfriend and he came home and his arm broke and face is all scratched up for nothing ’cause she having fits like ya’ll saw on TV? Would you like her? Would you accept her into the fold? No!”
“Yes she is [physically abusive]. Ya’ll just keep watching the show, you going to see more, ’cause her and her mama shows out with their alley back ways.”
On an example of Erica’s “abuse:”
“One time he told me he woke up when Emoni was like in her months old, she’s 8 now. He woke up like 3 in the morning, and she was standing over him. I’m like, ‘Wow, really?’ I told him, ‘Please baby, please, just leave her.’ I told him to leave her alone then, and then when Diamond came into the picture, he left her alone for 4 years. And then when Diamond pulled that crazy mess with Soulja Boy, she snuck back in. When that mess happened with Diamond, Erica came over to Scrappy’s mansion, and I’m like, ‘So what’s up with this?’ ‘Ah, I’m just trying to have this back because he is the father of my daughter.’ But see the Beyotch was really trying to tip in to the kingdom. But see it’s just like God. You can’t go to him without going through the Son. You can’t come into the kingdom unless you come to the mama.”
“Yeah [Scrappy waking up to Erica standing over him] ’cause he had been cheating on her, and I’m not justifying cheating ’cause I’m a woman, and I’ve been hurt. But what I’m saying, that’s evil. That made me think, what you doing? You finta’ stand over him with a knife or something? You crazy!”
On how their daughter Emoni is affected by the drama:
“This season, she’s not watching, and I pray and hope that the people that are around my granddaughter, Princess Emoni, are not telling her anything. ‘Cause when she comes around me, she was around me a couple of days ago, all day at the poolside, and she’s just a loving, caring granddaughter.”
On Erica and Scrappy’s child support agreement:
“When I hear her say stuff like that [that Scrappy's broke], it hurts me, because if it wasn’t for him, she wouldn’t be on a show. Because VH1 asked him, he could pick any woman. He chose her to help her. And you can quote me on this one, I’ll put my hand on the Bible – the understanding was that if he put her on the show, that she’d take him off child support. She signed the papers to get put on the show, to take him off child support. He said, ‘I’m only paying you $3500 a month, but you making plenty now gong on gigs and walk-throughs.’ So he did her a real good favor ’cause I got 2 kids by 2 different men, and they ain’t never put me on like that. So you see that she is not even grateful, to do him like that.”
“He stopped [paying child support], but when they broke up, this engagement over, she talking about, ‘I’ll see you back in court.’ No Erica, you signed off for taking him off. You can’t go back baby. You see how the double-dipping? You see how evil she is? Just ’cause he don’t want to be with you no more, you want to make this man miserable. And the only reason why you on the show is because he said, ‘If I put you on, you sign taking me off because I’m paying you $3500, but you can make more.’ She signed the paperwork, and VH1 has a copy. So I’m telling you now, that’s double-dipping. You got to know, she’s money hungry, and she doesn’t care if she destroys my son.”

On the status of Scrappy and Shay’s relationship:

“Yes, he’s single, and he’s talked to Shay off camera and said this is me. She doesn’t like it, but however, her platform is to stay down and be that friend.”

Hot ghetto mess! In all my days, I’ve never witnessed the matriarch of a family rally behind her son’s side chick instead of her grandchild’s mother.

Breaking A Bad Habit: Lil Scrappy Checks Into Drug Rehab!

Lil Scrappy has finally decided to “try” to get himself together after hitting quite a stumbling block in court.

After failing a recent court ordered drug test at a hearing in Atlanta, TMZ learned that he has decided to check into a rehab program. According to his lawyer, Mawuli Mel Davis, Scrappy has admitted to being addicted to marijuana.

If you watched the first season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, you’ve probably heard Scrappy mention he’s on probation (particularly around the time he got into a fight with Stevie J).  Since testing positive for any drug is an automatic violation, his parole could be revoked and Scrappy, real name Darryl Richardson, could wind up back in jail rather quickly.

Davis says Scrappy checked in late Thursday evening and plans to stay there to work on his problem until June 16th when he faces a judge again on the violation charge. The hope is that the judge will see he’s working on breaking this addiction and will show him a little mercy.

One could say that this is just a way for Lil Scrappy to stay out of jail, and you might be right, but there is a chance that he’s legitimately addicted to “the chief.” There’s a fine line between really enjoying something and becoming addicted to it. We’ll see if Scrappy can break his “habit.”

What are your bad habits? Are you working on trying to break them?

Booty Tooted: Erica Dixon Poses For Black Men Digital

I’m honestly at a loss. I want to adequately describe that tragedy that is Erica Dixon’s recent Black Men Digital photo shoot, while not throwing too much shade. But in this situation, I don’t know if there really is a thing as too much.

In this spread, Erica, the Hempsted New York native who always had goals of being an actress/model strips down, covers her hot spots in what appears to be electric tape and then toots booty.

One thing about Atlanta is that it’s either hit or miss over there. Fashion is either fabulous or fuguly, hot or not. And unfortunately this photo shoot falls in that not, fugly, miss category. There’s nothing wrong with taking scantily clad/nude photos; but when you have a daughter who’s old enough to Google, these things should be done a bit more tastefully. The whole thing reeks of desperation.

Who would have thought the underdog of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, the most soft-spoken, go-to-work and raise my daughter cast member would be out here like this. It’s a bit surprising. Erica seemed to be the one cast member who had the most on the ball, even though her relationship with Scrappy was always on the verge of collapse.

But now I’m starting to see the logic behind Scrappy saying Erica used the show as a way to be put on.

Check out the rest of the flicks on the following pages and be sure to let us know how you’re feeling about these pictures.

Hot Mess: Find Out Why Erica Really Called Off The Engagement

Just like Erica Dixon’s mom, we had our doubts about whether or not Erica and Scrappy would ever get married. And sure enough, the second season revealed that these two just couldn’t get it together. We knew before the season even started, and Erica wasn’t wearing her engagement ring, that these two were no where near the alter.

Well, in a conversation, with Mouth to Ears, Erica Dixon provided additional context for why she snapped at that dinner and why she called off the engagement.

The Snap:

“The reason for my snap…what they did cut out was the fact that she called me a Beyotch again and that’s what made me snap. Like blatantly in my face and they cut it out.”
The status of the engagement:
“We’re co-parenting. I definitely called off the engagement. Clearly Scrappy wasn’t ready. I feel like the whole proposal at the end of the day was to save his image. It was all about how he looked to the people. So that’s why I believe he proposed at the end at the reunion because he was getting so much hate from fans and I think it was just too much for him to deal with. I feel like as time progressed, the truth came out about what his true iterations really were.”

Hmm. Well, that certainly explains why she went ham during what seemed to be a peaceful sit down. Momma Dee is all the way out of control.
But the theory that Scrappy proposed to her to save his rap career, seems like a bit of stretch to me. Scrappy’s rap career has been on strug, so much so that a mere “Will you marry a n*gga?” wasn’t going to do much, if anything to revive it. But that’s just me. Maybe Erica has a different type of insight. Who knows.
Anyway, Scrappy whose been very vocal about their breakup, saying he was sorry he ever introduced Erica to the reality scene, posted this image on his Twitter account.

Started From The Bottom Now They’re Here: Freeloading Friends And Family Of The Rich And Famous

Whenever a celebrity first gets on, they, naturally, always want to introduce the people around them to the life of luxury they’ll soon be accustomed to. Some people get a house, others get cars, but then there are some family members and friends who make freeloading a way of life once someone they know starts getting paid. You know, they stop working like they’re they ones bringing home the bacon. Here are some of the worst offenders.

Lamar Odom’s Father

Lamar Odom’s father should be ashamed. He hasn’t been a part of his son’s life for decades. But as soon as he realized what he’s been missing, he returns with his hands out. That’s very tasteless. This poor old man was begging on TV for tickets to the game and whatever else he could stiff Lamar on. Lamar is being played because as everyone says,” you only get one father”.

Caption This Pic Of Momma Dee Supporting Lil Scrappy As He Turns Himself In For Tampering With His Urine Sample

Momma Dee

If you thought the crazy couldn’t get any deeper when it comes to Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, you must not know about wine-sipping-out-of-a-straw Momma Dee.

While we were somewhere preparing to tune in to the premiere of the new season, Lil Scrappy was on his way to jail. Why you ask? According to TMZ, the rapper refused to take a urine test as part of his probation back in March after he allegedly tried to submit a sample of urine that was cold and appeared to have been tampered with. So basically, he had something in his system he didn’t want his probation officer to know about. In the end though, a warrant was issued for his arrest because of the incident and he coincidentally turned himself in the day his show was set to come back for a second season. Along with him was his fiancée Erica, the VH1 cameras (you know Mona wouldn’t miss a beat), and his mother of course, Momma Dee. Dressed up, she arrived to see her son off and after he was put in custody, she got in front of the few cameras there and whipped out a homemade tee to support her son that said, “FREE SCRAPPY-in that order….” Guess she felt like there was no better time than the present.

So now that you know the background, how would you caption this photo? Feel free to use some of her signature lines from the show because I know a few that could work right now…

‘One Of Every Female Out There Is A Mimi Or Erica’ — So Mimi And Erica Say

Tonight’s the night that “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” returns for its second season and as we’ve seen from the super duper ratchet trailers there are more than a few changes this season when it comes to relationships. Despite having  moved on from their suspect partners, Stevie J and Lil Scrappy, when we got the chance to catch up with Mimi and Erica we couldn’t help but ask them why they stayed so long with men who clearly weren’t about much — including them. That’s when the ladies told us they’re no different than any other “female” out there. Mmm’kay.

Check out the full interview above and let us know what you think about Mimi and Erica’s progress — or lack thereof — since last season.

Lil Scrappy’s ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Checks To Be Garnished Until $100K Debt Is Satisfied

Whatever rapper-turned-reality star Lil Scrappy planned on using his forthcoming Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta checks for may have to take a back seat because he more than likely won’t be seeing a lot of the money he earns this season, TMZ reports.

Three years ago Darryl Richardson aka Lil Scrappy lost his legal battle against concert booking company, Heavy Rotation. Georgia courts ordered the rapper to pay the company $72, 218.68. But, according to the company, the “Money in the Bank” rapper never paid up. Growing fed up with Scrappy’s failure to pay what he owes them, Heavy Rotation put in a request with the courts to have large sums of his Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta checks garnished until his debt is satisfied. Unfortunately for Scrappy, the courts have granted the company’s request.

While we don’t know exactly what VH1 pays Scrappy per episode, we do know that he has quite a bit of catching up to do as far as repaying his debt goes. The original tab of $72k has swelled to a whopping $108, 510.38 with interest and attorney’s fees included.

Hopefully the self-proclaimed “prince of the south” has a decent number of shows scheduled and new music lined up, otherwise he could be facing a fairly rough road ahead.

Interestingly, Scrappy isn’t the first rapper that Heavy Rotation has taken to court. According to Hip Hop Wired, the promotions company has also sued DMX over business agreements and lost revenue after the rapper failed to attend scheduled shows, but they eventually dropped the case. Unfortunately, Scrappy doesn’t appear to have had X’s luck.

Sleazy Steebie, Joseline Hernandez And ‘Molly The Maid’ Are Back! VH1 Releases ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Teaser

Screen shot 2013-04-02 at 10.30.26 AM

The Love & Hip Hop season finale aired last night and while some may have been a little sad to see Joe, Tahiry and the gang go, the good news is that they’re likely to return next season. The even better news is that their departure means that the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’s Season 2 debut will be airing soon! Monday, April 22nd at 8/7c to be exact!

The network recently dropped a trailer for the new season, and if your Olivia Pope gut instincts told you that we’re in for one hell of a ride, you were 100% correct! The trailer opens with a half-dressed Joseline Hernandez strutting into a home that I’m guessing belongs to Stevie. She quickly finds her way to the kitchen where Molly Mimi and Stevie are seated.

“I see you got on your maid outfit like you always do,” Joseline says to Mimi, looking her up and down.

You can probably guess that all hell broke loose after that. The clip quickly cuts to Mimi spazzing on Stevie in a bathroom.

“This b***h wanna call me and maid and you not gonna say nothing?” Mimi angrily yells at Stevie before throwing a cup of what appears to be water in his face.

Meanwhile on the other side of town, it appears that Shay is still running around Atlanta all teary-eyed over Scrappy going back to Erica (although it seemed obvious that she knew she was the other women to begin with. Go figure). During a scene that shows the former Flavor of Love reality star holding back tears, the Queen Momma Dee attempts to console her.

“Just watch out. Change is coming,” Momma Dee assures her.

I’m not really sure what change Momma Dee was referring to, but I’m sure it won’t be long before we all find out. Right after the video clip ended, all I could hear in my head was Kevin Hart saying, “It’s about to go down.”

Turn the page to see the madness for yourself. Will you be tuning in this season?

Please Come Get Your Mother: Momma Dee and Frankie Go At It While Visiting V-103′s Studio

In case you were in need of a dose of ratchet to help you to make it through the remainder of this lovely Friday afternoon, we have just the thing for you.

We just received word that Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie and Lil Scrappy’s mother Momma Dee recently appeared on Ryan Cameron’s Morning Show on V-103. It seems that Momma Dee was there promoting Lil Scrappy’s birthday party at Magic City when the two reality television mothers got into a “physical altercation”.

One of the show’s hosts jokingly suggested that Momma Dee and Frankie team up to host an upcoming Keith Sweat concert together, which is when Frankie jumped in Momma Dee’s face and accused her of always being late.

Momma Dee then, put down her pocketbook, took off her earrings and proceeded to “put them paws” on Frankie. The women then began wrestling, rolling around on the studio’s floor and sofa, fighting one another and giving the radio hosts a show.

“Momma and Frankie are rumbling in the studio and we are not lying,” Egypt informed her audience.

“Of all days for the stream not to be working, Egypt,” Ryan Cameron added.

Now I must warn you, they were only joking around, but it is some sight to see two women past the age of forty wrestling and play-fighting.

Check out footage of the “cat fight” below.

Isn’t this one of the most ratchet things you’ve ever seen? Someone please call Scrappy and Keyshia and tell them that their mamas are wilding out in public again.

I have to admit though, now that we’ve witnessed Momma Dee interact with both Frankie and Jim Jones’ mom Nancy, I am a bit curious to see what would happen if someone put the three of them in a room together.

What do you make of this crazy video?
