VH1 recently announced that their real-life basketball wife, Lala Vasquez-Anthony will be returning to their reality television lineup beginning Monday, February 18th with season three of her show, Lala’s Full Court Life. “Right now, this family is on fire!” Anthony says regarding the upcoming season of her show. Judging by the trailer, her description couldn’t be more accurate. It seems that this season will highlight Lala’s New York Knicks-playing hubby, Carmelo Anthony as he ventured into London to play in the 2012 Olympics.

Little Kiyan seems fairly busy as well considering the handsome little guy is the face of Jordan Kids, in addition to beginning kindergarten back in September. The trailer also revealed that Lala is preparing to launch her makeup brand, Motives for Lala nationally. Of course, her pals Po and Dice are around, seemingly ready to put in the work necessary to make their dreams come true. Lala’s celeb friends Kelly Rowland, Ludacris, Ciara, Gabrielle Union, Trina, Estelle, Amar’e Stoudemire and Charlemagne will also make appearances this season.

By the looks of the trailer, the only real drama we can expect to see this season is Lala pondering whether or not she wants to be seen at the gay wedding of a friend and experiencing a few attachment issues as Kiyan grows older and becomes more independent. Ironically, Po and Dice standing on their own two feet and pursuing their individual goals and aspirations appears to have a similar effect on her.

“We’e all moving in different directions. I’m concerned and worried about our friendship more than anything … All I ever wanted to do was be there for them while they show the world that they can do things for themselves. And now, it just feels like they have this whole life that I’m not even a part of,” Lala expresses during the season preview.

What I would be interested in seeing is whether or not the whole Melo-Kevin Garnett drama plays out while VH1 cameras are rolling.

The “Basketball Wives” franchise is losing. Ratings appear to be plummeting and fans of the VH1 series are finding this season painful to watch with its sub-par storyline and uninteresting characters. A few weeks back we reported that viewers are literally begging Ms. O’Neal to put an axe to the Monday night train wreck. When one man took to Twitter to voice his concerns to the “Basketball Wives” visionary, she suggested that a possible solution is giving the show a complete makeover, which can be assumed to mean a new cast. Well, you know what Shaunie? That idea doesn’t sound half bad. Actually, it is probably one of the best things to come out of your mouth since…well, I don’t know when. But, you catch my drift. And she wasn’t kidding, she cut a majority of the cast this week leaving only Jackie Christie and Draya. So now that we’re back to the drawing board, here’s a lineup that might work next season. If you there will actually be a next season…

Last Wednesday night, we had the pleasure of attending a holiday pampering spa event with Lala Anthony at TenoverTen Salon in NYC.  At this intimate event hosted by Lala Anthony and her stylist Andrea Livolsi (stylist to stars including Kerry Washington, Rihanna, Keri Hilson, the Pinkett-Smith family & more), a handful of guests were treated to manicures and pedicures, foot massages,  delicious cocktails by XRFL, a delicious pink liqueur and beauty products to stuff our  holiday stockings with. The room was filled with hot holiday fashion all around, from the pink Christmas tree, to Lala’s personal clothing rack, to the Christian Louboutin shoes that were scattered throughout the room as eye candy. La arrived with her father looking gorgeous as usual with a cream lace dress  and her signature Louboutin’s. With a hot pink drink in one hand and her daddy by her side, we had a beautiful ball! Lala and Andrea shared some fashion and beauty tips for the holiday season:

We’ve seen Lala go from Ludacris’s sidekick on the radio, to  MTV  VJ, to the courtside Louboutin-rocking, Hermes-toting TV personality and basketball wife that we know and love today. Lala has stepped her game up  in every department; hair, makeup, clothes, and shoes. Her style and fashion sense have evolved tremendously. Vasquez-Anthony has come a long way since her days on as the fashion clueless cutie on MTV you see above. “What About Your Friends?”

The three crazy, Hot and cool ladies posed the question best. We’ve all had our spats with our girlfriends, claimed we have more male friends than females and that we can’t get along with our own sex, but every woman needs a female friend. Well, at least in my opinion. The one to confide in that will understand every ounce of what you may be going through without nodding off. That friend can be one from childhood, a home skillet from college or even your blood sister. But with the well of available men (black, white, whatever) drying up like elbows straight out the bathtub, I’ve started to notice that it seems women are putting an even greater amount of importance on relationships with their men than their friends. Time to be honest and ask the question, these days, do we put more value on our relationships than we do our friendships?

Kids are always cute as a button as long as I can give them back to their parents.  Seeing celebrities with their children gives you a warm tingly feeling inside. In a weird way spotting celebrities and their toddlers humanizes them. Whether it’s Halle Berry grocery shopping with Nahla or Lala Vasquez and Kiyan supporting dad at his New York Knicks game, these celebs’ kids could not care less about the paparazzi. Their candid photos give a glimpse of normalcy behind all the cameras. And that makes them all the more adorable. Check out celebrities’ cutest kids.

For the first time since the news broke of her alleged affair, Fantasia Barrino and Antwaun Cook, the man whose marriage she has been accused of breaking up, were seen together Friday near her Charlotte, N.C., home.  Word is that video camera’s were also rolling, presumably for her VH1 reality show, Fantasia for Real.
