For a groupie, there is no bigger prize than getting pregnant by your celebrity lover. It’s like winning the lottery — so they think. More often than not, headlines about them and their baller boyfriends read like an episode of the Maury show, particularly for these 15 women who hung their heads in shame after they heard the judge say “You Are Not the Father.”

Pamela Smith

Pamela Smith should have looked for a better baller to blame. He’s the world’s most famous basketball player and he made it to 50 without a paternity scandal.

That’s a man who’s too smart to let a groupie get her paws on his millions. In March, a judge ordered  MJ to take a paternity test to determine if Pamela’s 16-year-old son Grant Taj Reynolds was his. But seeing as Pam already sued MJ for paternity years ago and lost, no one expects Mike to be the father.

It seems as if every week a Hollywood star gives birth then pops up on a magazine cover or runway a few months later flaunting their slender frames and sleek abs. Although some women lose baby weight faster than others, here are 15 celebs that snapped back to their pre-baby bodies in no time.

Mariah Carey

Diva and R&B singer Mariah Carey shocked the world when she announced she married her husband rapper, actor and entertainer Nick Cannon. After struggling to conceive, the happy couple surprised everyone one more time when it was revealed that Carey was pregnant with twins. Once Monroe and Morocco were welcomed into the world, the “Butterfly” singer went to work right away to lose the baby weight. Because she gave birth via Cesarean, Carey was unable to exercise right away. The current “American Idol” judge signed on to be the spokesperson for Jenny Craig and ended up dropping 70 lbs. in six months. “I realize that 90 percent of losing weight is my diet,” Carey said in an interview with Shape magazine about how she lost the extra pounds.

We know what you’re thinking. Why in the hell are you talking about Kim Kardashian again!? Well, slow your roll and bear with us, because we thought we could all learn a little somethin’ somethin’ from her honesty about being a judgmental Judy not too long ago.

In the latest issue of Cosmopolitan, Kim Kardashian decided to open up to the magazine about motherhood, her relationship with Kanye, and her family. We found that the most interesting tidbit of the whole interview came when she discussed her sister Kourtney, a seemingly happy mother of two, and her past disappointment with Kourtney’s decision to have children with Scott Disick when the two were not married. Specifically, having their first child, Mason, in 2009. However, she quickly realized that Kourt’s family life was much more fulfilled and happy than her own:

“I was like, ‘You’re not married! How could you do this?’ I was really firm and strict. But she was like, ‘Marriage isn’t what I want.’ And later, I realized she had a better family life than I did.”

I’m sure we can all think of someone, maybe even ourselves, who has given someone the side eye for bringing a child into the world without a ring on their finger, but you never realize how far from simple the whole thing is until you  find yourself in similar circumstances. As Kevin Hart would say, “You gon’ learn today!”

Of course, Kourtney went on to add to her family with Disick by having daughter Penelope last year. The couple still has no plans for marriage that we can see (though there are rumors of an engagement),  and Kourtney seems to be more than happy with that. Ironically, the tables have turned and Kim Kardashian has found herself having a child with a man whom she’s not married to, but she says the reality that this baby is coming soon has prepared her. “I’ve always said that I wanted kids, but I don’t think I ever would have been ready until now.”

Speaking of marriage, Kim also opened up about the prospect of getting married to Kanye West sometime soon. She doesn’t know when it will happen, but she seems to think and feel that homeboy is the one.

“Sometimes you’re just not ready. A person could have it all, and you’re not ready for it all. But this is where I probably always should have been…[marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don’t have this sense of urgency about it. I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me…I saw fast marriages like Khloe and Lamar’s and that was what seemed to work. [Now] I say give it a good six months before you commit. Feelings change, even if it seems so lustful.”

And you know, still being married to someone else will help chill out that sense of urgency to walk down the aisle with your new boo and what not. Juuuuuust saying.

We all love celebrity gossip and drama. But sometimes, enough is enough. These celebrities have gotten on our last nerves with their nonsense. It’s past time that they get their microphone’s cut off to make room for some fresh celebrity faces.

Good Lord. I honestly don’t know how Vincent Herbert stands it. She drives her sisters crazy, she stays on Twitter with some mess and I know I’m not the only one who’d like to cut her microphone off. There wouldn’t still be a reason to watch The Braxtons without Tamar but I’m cool with that too.

Keeping up with Kanye and Kim… Yeezy was on hand to celebrate Kourtney‘s baby shower with the rest of the Kardashian Klan. He was all smiles for the occasion, cuddling with Kim and even giving daps to cutie pie Mason. While it took a while for little Bow Weezy to fall into the fatherly role after a dramatic paternity issue with the mother, Joie Chavis, (it seems they’re all good now), the rapper has been a doting and proud papa! Shai Moss (a play off of Shad, Bow Wow’s actual name) should be about one now, and dad’s clearly going to have to chase the boys away because she’s already one of the cutest Hollywood babies.

Shortly before ringing in 2011, Kim Kardashian told Rachel Ray: “I want to try to be single my whole year of being 30.” Clearly, that didn’t work out for the now 31-year-old E! reality star who married and divorced Kris Humphries in 2011. But now, she’s settled on a new resolution for 2012. Kardashian recently tweeted: “decided to change my twitter background to nothing. i wanna be more simple in 2012.”

The Kardashians just won’t go away. By now, I should’ve made peace with the fact that they are on my TV screen, Twitter feed, MSN homepage, Sears catalogue, and anywhere else Ryan Seacrest can find a home for them. Now Kourtney, the oldest of the bunch, has her very own mommy blog, courtesy of E! online.

In the weekly web series, the mother of 2-year-old Mason will open up (more) about what she’s learned raising her son and share her kid tips, parenting philosophy, and style tips for toddlers—note the H & M and Ralph Lauren plugs in the clip.

I’ll be completely honest, I didn’t learn a thing from this video, but hey, I don’t have kids. Maybe Kourtney can teach you a thing or two about bow ties for boys.
