Actress and singer Kat Graham, best known for her work on the hit show The Vampire Diaries, the films of Addicted and Honey 2, and both of her highly-anticipated roles in the Tammi Terrell and Tupac biopics, is adding yet another gig to her already stacked resume.
Caress, anyone? If you guessed the body wash then you’re on point! The 26-year-old starlet recently announcement that she has inked a deal as the brand ambassador for the new Caress’ Forever collection of body washes, which she calls the “Yes, Queen” campaign.
“I love playing a strong woman, I love being a strong woman, I love the imagery of strong women and Caress I guess saw that,” Graham told PeopleStyle. “It’s [the campaign] all about getting in touch with your inner queen, what makes you feel empowered, and what makes you feel special and giving it to the world.”
The new Forever collection uses super-cool touch-activated technology, so the body wash acts like a perfume. Basically, you’ll smell fresh like you just hopped out of the shower all day long. Winning!
“[I’m] a big smell person,” Graham admitted. “Like I might be so cute — I might look in the mirror and be like, ‘Hair is done, makeup is on fleek, like I am amazing,’ …but I will run back into my house if I forget to put my perfume on.”
We feel you, Kat! Smelling good is definitely a necessity. Congrats!
I had the chance to check out the Unsung episode on Tammi Terrell’s life, and to say that it was sad would be an understatement. Terrell, known for her famous duets with Marvin Gaye, only lived to be 24, dying of a brain tumor. And the years she lived in the spotlight were tumultuous ones that included abusive relationships with James Brown and David Ruffin of The Temptations. She came and went from this world so quickly that her talents weren’t fully appreciated and recognized until after she was long gone.
So that may be the reason there is a biopic coming out to tell Terrell’s story. According to Deadline, the film will follow Terrell’s career from her beginnings as a backup singer for James Brown and Patti LaBelle, to her solo career. It will also cover the success she obtained singing alongside Marvin Gaye, creating Motown favorites like “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and “Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing.” The film will also touch on her brain tumor diagnosis and her death in 1970. And despite rumors in the past of Terrell being portrayed by Taraji P. Henson (such rumblings began as Get On Up was preparing for filming), the vocalist will be played by actress and singer Kat Graham. She is known for her work on the hit show The Vampire Diaries, the film of Addicted and Honey 2. Graham is beyond excited about the chance to play the legendary singer:
“I immediately connected to Tammi and her story in many ways and have felt the incredible need to tell it. Tammi Terrell defined passion and soul itself…Getting lost in the music enabled her to override life’s punishments — for when she sang, she could use the hurt to create greatness and give the world hope that maybe they could overcome their pain as well.”
Shooting and release are slated for next year. The feature film is being written by Maryam Myika Day, and will be produced by Robert Teitel, Rose Ganguzza, and Hilary Shor. Graham’s own Panthera Productions will also be behind production for the biopic.
So what do you think? Does Graham bear a resemblance to Terrell?

Actress Mila Kunis was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine and moved to Los Angeles at the age of seven. Her mother was a school teacher and her father was a mechanical engineer, but left Ukraine because they didn’t see a future for Mila and her brother. There was also antisemitism in the country at the time, so the family moved. She had a difficult transition since her parents arrived in New York on a Wednesday and she was enrolled in school by Friday morning without knowing any English.

The stunning 46-year-old showed up to the Berlin premiere of her movie, Cloud Atlas, looking half her age in this velveteen dress with a side split, intricate draping and two different arms (one capped, one strapless). To accessorize, Halle wore strappy gray heels with silver cuffs and bangles, a large cocktail ring, as well as drop earrings with a fish bone design.
