Good News? Tia and Pooch Are Out, But Brandy’s Still In ‘The Game’
I don’t know if this news will do much to console “The Game” fans who are still struggling to accept the fact that Tia and Pooch/Melanie and Derwin aren’t returning to the the BET show, but we do know there will be at least one familiar face on the next season, Brandy’s.
During an interview with Kempire Radio, Brandy confirmed that she will be reprising her role of Chardonnay for Season 6, though she tried to be a little mysterious about the plot line, alluding to the fact that her character and Jason are currently broken up. Since the season finale airs tomorrow they’ll probably keep that cliff hanger going and pick up with that story line next season which may not really matter for fans who have already said they won’t even bother to watch the show again once it ends Tuesday.
From the few episodes of “The Game” that I saw, I sort of liked Jason and Chardonnay’s relationship, but it was just hard for me to get past Brandy’s character’s name and some of her mannerisms. But maybe they could end up being the main story line during season 6 and take over Melanie and Derwin’s spot. Yay? Nay?
Check out the snippet of Brandy’s interview below where she talks about how she feels about Tia and Pooch leaving the show and her excitement to come back. Are you glad Brandy is returning next season or does it matter?

The Game Recap: The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far…
So apparently, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree—not for “The Game” stars at least. Young Brittany Pitts has already mastered manipulation like her father, Malik Wright obviously got his additive personality from Mama Mack, and Melanie clearly acquired her taste for men with status from her dear old mom. Let’s hope that history doesn’t repeat itself too much. Anyways, check out the Episode 9 highlights and let us know what you think:
The Game Recap: All Are Playing Fair
Last night’s episode of “The Game” began with a few foul balls, but by episode end everyone was playing fair. The season’s most troubled character, Malik Wright and Kelly Pitts, made major leaps in self-improvements and made amends with old friends and flames. Let’s check out the highlights from Episode 7:
What’s the Game Plan?
I don’t know how anyone else felt, but immediately after episode two of “The Game” ended last week—concern set in. The dramatic story lines that were built over the course of an entire season—Tasha Mack vs. Kelly Pitts, the baby mama drama, Jason Pitts’ fading career—were put to rest in just 30 minutes—‘too soon.’ And after watching episode three, it’s obvious that my concerns were warranted. Viewers may find it difficult to stay awake, now that most of the drama has been put to bed. Let’s recap episode three. There were a few scenarios that may stir-up some new drama for this season of “The Game.” Fingers crossed!
“The Game” Puts a Lid on the Drama

Episode two put a lid on most of the over-flowing drama and provided fans with a few reminiscent moments and phrases for old times’ sake. Check out the highlights!
