This has been a big week for fashion thanks to all the events going on for Hollywood’s A-listers. And some of our favorites didn’t disappoint as they had jaws dropping and flashbulbs on fire as they hit the scene. Now was it a good jaw drop or a bad one? Let’s look through the following photographs and find out.

This woman is 46 years old? WOW! The stunning singer hit up the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Cap d’Antibes in this flowing Emilio Pucci gown. The halter dress also had a deep v-neck which definitely showcased Jackson’s girls, and a slit that went up her lower thigh to show off those gams. The train was long, as were her locks, and on her feet were futuristic Giuseppe Zanotti wedges that didn’t have a heel. While I’m not feeling her makeup, otherwise, Ms. Jackson looks pretty freaking awesome. Steal! Just let me get in the gym real quick first…

Style to Steal or Girl, Stop: LaLa Anthony, Selita Ebanks & Jessica White Get Kind of Blue on Us

If blue wasn’t already your favorite color, these celebrities rocking the bright yet subdued shade might help you change your mind on that shade of pink you were thinking about. Let’s take a look at three of our favorite celebrities wearing some blueberry, sky and baby blue joints all over the country this week to determine who should feel good and who really should feel blue about their style choices.

Oh, Jessica White. She’s such a pretty woman, but I don’t know what it is about her fashion choices that just always throws me off. The spokesmodel wore this extravagant blue gown to the Dream Big! The Jacob’s Cure gala in NYC on Wednesday. While the leggy model is rocking the gown well, we’re not sure we like the gown at all. The strapless dress was doing an ombre design all over with beading covering it. And if that wasn’t interesting enough, she had a split that literally came up to her ladybits. The nude peep toe pumps, some studded earrings and a few rings were her only accessories, and she did a bright red lip and pulled back hair to tie everything together. I don’t know what it is, but this dress just comes off sort of cheap looking to me (why a black zipper when nothing else is black on the dress?). And maybe it’s even the weird tiered sash at her waist. Body wise, she looks great, but I can’t do this look. Sorry, girl. Stop.

Style to Steal or Girl, Stop: Lauryn Hill, Tika Sumpter, Beyoncé & More

Fashion time! Let’s check out the looks of some of our favorite singers (including one who used to be MAD reclusive) and actresses and see who killed it in the fashion department, and who was just dead wrong.

For the NYC screening of the film Safe on Monday, the petite Sumpter showed up in sky blue high-waisted hot pants with a tie at the top, and this loose-fitting flower-adorned top. To accessorize, she showed off open-toe pumps and a neon pink clutch. The hair was looking very Diana Ross  that night, but that’s not a bad thing. While the accessories are nice, the shorts look a little too big and the combination (and the materials that make it up) are just not a right fit together. Stop.

She also attended the Food Bank for the New York City Can-Do Awards dinner on Tuesday looking just as interesting. She wore tailored diamond-printed pants that she pulled up high, and a fancy neon tube top with a sweetheart neckline. On her feet were camel-colored heels, in her hand was a seafoam clutch, and on her head was that same big head of hair. I like the idea of this combination, but the shoes kind of taint it. Otherwise, she looks beautiful, just not feeling this outfit.

You know what time it is! Style to Steal or Girl, Stop time! We’re lucky this week to have so much to work with when it comes to the fashion choices of our favorite celeb women. And the trend seems to be that it’s time to pull those legs back out from hiding! Let’s take a look at the week’s best and worst ensembles to figure out who should stop it, and who we want to steal from ASAP.

Doing media rounds at fuse Studios this week, Ashanti showed up in this skintight, long-sleeved dress and got lots of attention. The color-block dress was a mix of black, orange, tan and baby blue, and she accessorized the look with bow-accented strappy black stilettos, sparkly bracelets, a few bold rings, and some HUGE statement earrings. I think homegirl should have stayed with one shade for her jewelry, but I have to give her credit: that dress looks great on her little figure.  Plus, the makeup is looking fun and fresh. Steal!

Happy Friday Madames! It’s the end of the week, so of course it’s time to take a look at all of this week’s fashion choices from the stars. Per the usual, we’re going to figure out whose style picks we would steal, and which sistas we would beg to stop. Let’s get it!

The very lovely Jennifer Hudson arrived at the Rainforest Fund event in NYC this week in this flowing Reem Acra gown. The nude dress had an ornate gold bust and midsection, with a flowing floor-length skirt. Love the small but intricate necklace and bracelets, as well as the large cocktail ring. And her hair is looking very on-point as well. Love the color, love the look on her, so I’m going to have to steal it!

Style to Steal or Girl, Stop Weekly Wrap-Up: Jessica White, Nicki Minaj, La La and More

You know what time it is. It’s about to be the weekend, so we have to do a rewind on some of the most fun, eclectic and busted outfits of the week. Shall we begin?

Source: fashionbombdaily.com

While at Madison Square Garden to cheer on her man Melo, La La Anthony showed up in boy-meets-girl ensemble that was a mix of prints and textures. She wore a sheer Alexander Wang top (sweater actually) that mixed orange, black and white. On her feet were some snakeskin Louboutins, peeking underneath leather pants. While I think she might have been going for a casual but cool ensemble, this mixture of looks is…the most. I’ll pass, but if they were worn separately I’m sure it would be hot. No thanks though.

Girl, where have you been!? Singer Chrisette Michelle finally brought herself out of the house for a Petals-N-Belles Limitless event in NYC. She wore this body-hugging dress with snowflake-like designs and some intricately placed sequins. On her feet were some taupe peep-toe pumps with floral detailing at the front. She came to the event with her quilted purse, a few funky rings, and a fresh, close cut. Don’t forget the pink lip! The dress actually doesn’t bother me because it fits nicely, but the shoes don’t work with it. And with the pink lip…I don’t know, there’s a lot going on. I’ll take the dress, but pass on everything else. Unless that’s a Chanel bag of course!

Style to Steal or Girl, Stop Weekly Wrap Up: Ciara, Rihanna, The Kardashians and More

It’s Friday, and while most of us will be using this weekend (and very appealing weather may I add) to show out in our fly-est apparel, a great deal of famous names were doing it big all week long. Then again, being seen is what they get paid for, so they have to look their best. Time to go through each of our favorite or most eye-popping looks from the week and decide who was funky fresh dressed, and who just looked funky.

Look who is trying to change up their style on these streets! Ciara was spotted on the streets of Manhattan on Monday looking more blonde than we’ve seen in the past and in a loose but fancy ensemble. She wore this low cut and long-sleeved top with some cropped black pants (hopefully not harem). On her feet were some black Louboutins, and accessory wise, she went all out with a snazzy gold cuff, a big ring, and multiple chain necklaces. I like the makeup, and the outfit definitely looks comfortable. I will say though that she looks a lot different and that I’m not feeling how she styled her two-toned hair… I’d wear the outfit, but I’d ditch the hair. Reluctant steal.

But the next day, Ci-Ci attended a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden in these light blue pants with a sweater rolled up at the sleeves that matched her bottoms. Love the high-top wedges and accessories, but the outfit as a whole is not moving me, you know? It could possibly be because of the way the pants fit (not too baggy, but not tight), or maybe it’s the combo of the sweater and pants, but it comes off as…blah. Girl, stop. Oh yeah, but the hair does look better here.

Style to Steal or Girl, Stop: Solange, Faith Evans, Michelle Williams and Wendy Raquel Robinson’s Fashions

All the ladies have been stepping out recently and stepping up their fashion game. We always want to know what you think about their fashion choices on the red carpet and even on the street, so let’s get started!

Our girl Solange was seen on the streets of NYC in Tribeca yesterday, and she turned it up in the warm weather in a floral but funky outfit. She paired a floral skirt with a white, flowing top that had 3/4 quarter length sleeves. On her feet were salmon colored open-toe heels and in her hand was a glittering black clutch and fun bangles. Her fro was out and about to play, and the red lip looks good on our girl. I’m not as crazy about this look as I am with most of her other ensembles, but it’s definitely not a stop for me. I would just trade out those shoes…they aren’t working all that well for me. However, she looks good–steal.

Style to Steal or Girl, Stop: Jada, J.Lo, Tyra and More Hot Looks and Hot Messes From This Week

It’s the end of the week and a perfect time to not only evaluate how the week has gone for you, but what fashions were a hit and a miss as well. The ladies were doing it big this week in sequins and sweeping gowns, and we’re going to check it out and figure what is worth stealing, and what ish needs to be stopped. This is the weekly wrap-up!

J.LO had some fun in the sun in Acapulco at the beginning of the week while shooting a new video called “Follow the Leader.” Coincidentally, her new boy toy boo Casper got to try his hand at directing the video. While on the set, Jenny from the block shined on ‘em in uber-tight black pants and a long-sleeved top covered in  what looked like skeleton bone based designs. The mother of two was looking pretty fierce and small in her shiny ensemble, which she topped off with open-toe booties, some ring bling and bangle action, and a very interesting hairdo. For the purposes of video making, it’s cute, but for every day, I’d wear these pieces separately. A reluctant steal for me.

Style to Steal or Girl, Stop: Selita Ebanks’s “Rip The Runway” Wardrobe Changes

For all the fashion heads, I’m sure you’re very pumped about Rip the Runway making its return to BET on March 21. You’ll get to check out funky, fly and fresh fashions of new and seasoned black designers, and in the midst of all that, get to rock out to some very entertaining performances (Lil Kim, Wale and Estelle are a few who you can look forward to). The taping of the show took place last night at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, and The Game star Pooch Hall and model Selita Ebanks were hosts. Check out the best (and possibly worst) of Selita’s style choices from last night.

Ebanks hit the red carpet for the event last night in this figure hugging turtleneck dress (sans sleeves). The multicolored dress was rich in details, showcasing zippers, glitter, mesh and more. She paired it with some floral-detailed heels in black, and opted out of real jewelry. Loving the ombre hair color and the perfectly curled bangs (ever over-curled your bangs? It looks a mess…). The makeup was also very clean and playful.
