Tech Talk: YouTube’s Top Videos of 2012
Everyone is taking a look back at the year that was, including YouTube, which made a mash up/remix of the top 11 videos from around the globe for the year. Of course, Psy’s “Gangnam Style” is the crux of the video as it’s not only the most watched of the year, but the most watched ever, overtaking Justin Bieber during the Thanksgiving holiday. It has more than 976 million views as of lunchtime today.
We have the mash up below and you can watch each of the viral videos here (h/t @VitroAgency). Which one did you like the best?
Twitter also released its top lists of things that happened on that social network, including top tweets (We heart the Obamas) and the “gold medal” events that had us talking (take a guess). Check that out here.
You Better Werk! Little Boy D-Town Boogies With Tampa Bay Bucks Cheerleaders And Kills It
Looking like something out of a “Step Up” movie, one of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers littlest fans killed the game a couple of weeks ago when he got the chance to shake what his mama gave him and hit the field with the team’s cheerleading squad.
From running out Gangnam Style, to hitting the dougie better than Cali Swag District, you could not tell this little Asian boy nothing when he failed to miss one step during the halftime performance. I don’t know what Bey has planned for the Super Bowl but she might want to consider bringing this miniature dancer out with her. He is the absolute business.
Check out the clip of his synchronized dance moves here. Didn’t he kill it?
Still Can’t Touch This: Hammer Performs At The American Music Awards
There wasn’t an abundance of color at last night’s American Music Awards. But there was a moment where Psy, the South Korean creator of the internationally popular song and dance “Gangnam Style” performed the song that made him famous. In the midst of the high energy performance Psy introduced a special guest, the one and only MC Hammer. Check out the performance below.
The audience was certainly feeling it. Looking at this video, it’s hard to believe that Hammer is 50 years old. He hasn’t missed a step.
