I guess being publicly called a “pathological liar” by her father didn’t sit well with former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Kim Zolciak because according to TMZ, is petitioning for a gag order in an effort to keep her parents from doing anymore damage to her image by blabbering to the media about her personal business.

It seems that the parentals are in the process of planning and writing a very detailed tell-all book about the reality star. But catch this, the book deal is said to be worth $50,000 dollars. Kim filed an emergency motion last week with Georgia courts requesting that a judge prohibit her parents from publicly discussing the visitation dispute in which Kim is trying to keep her parents from seeing her children.

She also claimed that her parents have been dragging her name through the mud, telling her business to several media outlets and telling “vicious lies”. She also expressed that their “smear tactics” are are impacting her children in a negative way. So far a judge has yet to rule on Kim’s request.

If you recall, a couple of weeks ago when news broke of the visitation dispute between Kim and her parents, Kim’s dad was the mouthpiece, stating that he would not let Kim “make a mockery” of his wife and their family. “We are completely humiliated by all the lies she has put in the media,” he shared with TMZ.

Hopefully the Zolciak family will get it together soon considering the fact that there are children involved who are feeling as if they should choose sides in the dispute. Kim’s daughters, Ariana and Brielle have both submitted sworn affidavits to the court stating that they do not want to be forced to spend time with their grandparents.

“We both love our grandparents, but due to their actions at the wedding of [Kim and Kroy] … we have grown apart… We do not live a crazy or abnormal life. We are not forced to appear on television with our mother.”

The girls even claimed that their grandmother is nothing but a “disrespectful old lady.” Mind you, the kids are 11 and 15. Unfortunately, it seems that reality television is ruining yet another family. Neither side looks as if they’re preparing to take the high road.

We knew it was only a matter of time before Pilar spoke out about her assault charge against Deion Sanders but I think we were all hoping it took a little bit longer. No such luck.

A judge just lifted the gag order that was placed on Deion and Pilar’s case and the alleged aggressor wasted no time telling her side of the story—much like her soon-to-be ex-husband. Here’s the entire statement she released:

Deion “Primetime” Sanders used the media, visiting national TV, posting on his various social media sites and telling reporters outside of court to “report it like you would the Super Bowl” to defy the court and dishonor a gag order to trash Pilar Sanders, his wife of 13 years. Pilar sat quietly by the “sidelines” during this terrible gameplay in hopes of keeping her personal life private during this sad time. “I’ve been silent since September.  Once Deion’s secret life was revealed and he laid all of his cards on the table, I just wanted a civil divorce for the sake of my children. This didn’t have to go down like this,” explains Pilar. “I obeyed the court, tried to protect my kids from hearing all of the trash talk, but still their father approached it like another ball game.”

“There are no winners in the divorce process, and there’s nothing that justifies an adolescent dance in a retired football uniform to taunt Pilar,” said Larry Friedman, Mrs. Sander’s attorney. “The focus should be on the best interest of the children and not on Mr. Sanders’ glorious past, forgotten football career,” he continued.

The judge ordered the couple to stay 100 yards from each other and he lifted the gag order, now Pilar can speak the truth in the recent assault case ruling this week. “Seeing that Deion uses our children and the word ‘God’ in trying to disguise his image, I think enough is enough.  He only cares about himself, manipulating and cheating to distract from the truth and let’s not forget about his open and flagrant philandering. No one deserves to be treated like this, no one. I need the facts known,” says Pilar, “and hopefully Deion’s public will convince him to just stop showing off, handle this situation fairly like a real man, and let my children and me get on with our lives.”

FACTS:

1.) Deion Sanders was NOT granted temporary custody. Both parents have access to their children.

2.) Deion Sanders is NOT allowed to take the children out of school and out of state, without advising Pilar.  He had been doing this in violation of Texas law, the State’s truancy laws, and the Court’s Orders.

3.) The Protective Order that Deion previously obtained against Pilar through the Prosper Police when she was arrested on April 23rd, was VACATED.

4.) Deion’s application for A Protective Order against Pilar For Family Violence in the Family Court was DENIED. Both Deion and Pilar Sanders have been told to stay 100 yards from each other making Deion’s assault charges against Pilar groundless.

5.) The Court awarded Deion the exclusive possession of the house in Prosper that he owned before he was married to Pilar which was his separate property with or without a premarital agreement. That ruling was nothing either way.

6.) The Court did NOT grant Pilar’s application for A Protective Order against Deion For Family Violence in the Family Court even though Pilar sustained serious injuries in the incident, including a broken thumb, a broken arm, a disjointed elbow, and bruises and contusions on her arms, shoulders, back, and neck. (Medical documents are available.)

7.) And, lastly the Court RESCINDED AND VACATED the Gag Order. That was an important ruling because Deion had continued to violate this Order with his relentless assaults against Pilar in the media while she continuously obeyed the Order. Now it allows her to defend herself against his verbal abuse.

Nothing else was decided. All of the matters relating to temporary orders will be determined on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

For the record, Deion’s attorney has a conflict of interest, while representing Deion he also represents the town of Prosper, The Prosper Police Department, and the Prosper Independent School District. That speaks for itself.

That last little tidbit is pretty interesting but it sounds like Pilar is just hoping against hope that she’ll earn joint or full custody of their children Tuesday.

Deion Sanders is not letting up on his smear campaign against his estranged wife, Pilar. It’s not like she did herself any favors by allegedly jumping Deion in front of their kids, but on top of twitpicing a photo of him and his kids filling out police reports after the incident, Deion has now gone on “Good Morning America” to throw just another layer of dirt on his soon-to-be ex-wife.

Speaking to Robin Roberts about the altercation, Deion said he hasn’t put his hands on Pilar, ever.

“I’ve kept my peace, I’ve honored my children. I can respectably say my kids have never seen me yell, scream, hate on, call a name, or provoke my soon to be ex-wife any sort whatsoever.

“Never touched her, I was really upset she came in and decided to show out in front of the kids, as normal, but trust me. I can put this on my mama, never touched her, never did anything derogatory toward her whatsoever.”

A few awkward laughs and wide-toothed grins later (maybe he was nervous), Deion said:

“Thank God, fortunately both of my sons witnessed the whole thing—unfortunately they did—but fortunately I have witnesses and they testified and wrote statements out to the police and I can’t wait til those statements come out and everyone can see the truth.”

Although Deion Sanders claimed that under normal circumstances, this type of incident would constitute the worst of times, he said he considers it the best of times. Unfortunately for him, speaking out about these “best of times” could quickly turn worse, considering this PR interview puts him at risk of being in contempt of court for violating a gag order and talking about his divorce case. He doesn’t seem to care.

“When you have an allegation that I’ve hit you, I’ve touched you, I’ve assaulted you, that’s straight up ignorant….I can’t be an alleged guy who’s lost his mind, that’s not who I am or what I am….Sporadically and quickly I said we have to tell our side of the story first.”

If you’ve wondered why Royce Reed never talks about her son’s father, Dwight Howard, on “Basketball Wives” there’s a reason. When she signed up for the show back in 2009 she agreed to gag herself from speaking about him on camera, but for some reason she now wants that to change.

Royce has reportedly requested that the gag order be lifted and that the legal documents listing the allegations she has against Dwight be made public. Considering the former couple is in the middle of a bitter custody battle , it can be assumed Royce has some not so nice things to say about her baby daddy and perhaps she wants public sympathy. I’m not so sure how that will help her win full custody of her son, so maybe she just wants to spice up her “Basketball Wives” storyline a bit.

TMZ expects Royce will accuse the Orlando Magic player of having corrupt morals, a poor mental state, and displaying unreasonable behavior, and Cinema Blend points out that talking to the press about these issues will likely add some nice cushion to her bank account. Hopefully that’s not what this is really about. So far, the judge hasn’t ruled on this request, but considering this is the same judge who refused to remove himself from the case after she accused him of having a “baby mama bias,” I think it’s safe to say Royce will be keeping her lips locked on Dwight.
