*Update from E News!*
E! News has confirmed that the Oscar winner is pregnant with her and fiancé Olivier Martinez’s first child, and that she’ll be adding a baby boy to her growing brood!
The actress’ rep told E! News, “We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a child. We will not be commenting on or confirming any additional details.”
A source told E! News how the parents-to-be are feeling right now.
“Halle and Olivier are really excited,” the source said. “It’s a blessing. They can’t wait to have a baby together.”

As reported by TMZ, a source “connected” to the actress and her fiancé, Olivier Martinez, say that she’s indeed pregnant, and not just pregnant, but allegedly around three months along. But TMZ says that through some other digging they did, she just might be further along. Somehow the source claims they also already know the sex of the child, and she could be having a boy. If factual, this will of course be the 46-year-old’s second child after having Nahla Aubry with former boyfriend and model, Gabriel Aubry.
This tidbit of information is definitely interesting seeing how she was just talking about Nahla praying every evening for a baby sister while talking with Wendy Williams:
“That’s the thing. [My daughter is] asking me,” Berry admitted. “Every night we pray to God, and she’s so sweet. She says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.’ And I say, ‘I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on.’ What do you say to her when she wants that and can’t understand why God’s taking so long, you know?”
She might not be getting a little sister, but a little brother is just as good. Berry still seems mad tiny to be pregnant, but if she is with child, we’re very happy for homegirl, because she seems to be very happy with Martinez. Congratulations to the couple!
Sorry Olivier–Congrats Gabriel: Halle Berry Says One Way Or Another She Will Move To France…But Will Wait Until Nahla Is 18

Source: FayesVision/WENN.com
It was just last year that Halle Berry and her ex, Gabriel Aubry, were in court battling over her desire to move their daughter, Nahla, to France. Of course, Berry is engaged to Olivier Martinez, and he is a native of France, which is one reason why she wanted to make to the move. However, Berry also claimed that she was hoping to head to Europe after feeling less and less safe in Los Angeles due to paparazzi interference at her daughter’s school and also because her former stalkers were released from jail in 2012 (one who had escaped from a psychiatric hospital was caught). But Aubry felt that her hope to move with their child was just an attempt to keep him away from his daughter. In the end, after a bitter physical altercation between Aubry and Martinez, and a judge telling her no to the idea of heading to France, both Berry and Aubry have come to a civil custody agreement, and the drama that was going on between them and all over the news last year has finally ceased. Well, as far as we can tell.
But Berry isn’t giving up on her plans to leave with her beau for France, the only change is that she will wait until Nahla is old enough to make her own decisions about where she wants to live before she moves away. In an interview with UK publication, HELLO! magazine, Berry set the record straight and says she probably won’t head to Europe until Nahla is 18 and is getting ready for college, but when she goes, that’s where she’ll stay:
“When Nahla turns 18, she’ll be legally able to make her own decisions about where she wants to be and I think that then, when she’s off on her own, we’ll move there. It’s where I want to end my days, that’s for sure.”
She also says that her man, Martinez, has told her not to bother with trying to learn French now, because once she’s surrounded by French culture, things will come naturally.
“I was told very lovingly by him not to work on it too hard now but to wait until we get to live there. Because for me, at my age and with all that I already have on my plate, trying to learn French is probably one of the hardest things I could possibly do. He thinks I’ll have an easier time when we’re living there and immersed in the culture – if we ever get to go that is.”
So until Nahla’s old enough to make up her own mind and go her own way, mother and daughter will be in LA. And if Martinez can wait 13 years, the actor and his gorgeous leading lady will be able to have the rendezvous’ in France they want for good. Until then…
‘Before Us There Wasn’t Any Beyoncé’: Kimora Lee Simmons Says She And Russell Set The ‘Blueprint’ For Celebs In Fashion
Fashion maven, Kimora Lee Simmons recently sat down with Chris Witherspoon of NBC’s The Grio to discuss her upcoming reality show “Kimora: House of Fab“, which is a spin-off from her original reality show “Kimora: Life In the Fab Lane”. The show will go behind the scenes of the JustFab offices, which is Kimora’s fashion retail site. When questioned by Chris as to whether or not she felt the fashion industry was too saturated with celebrities with fashion brands, Kimora gave a quite interesting response.
“There’s always room for more because times evolve and people change and we [Me and Russell] did kind of create that. Before us there wasn’t any Beyoncé, there wasn’t Sean John or Justin Timberlake, there wasn’t Jessica Simpson. There wasn’t any of that. We really laid the blueprint for that,” Kimora told Chris Witherspoon.
She also expressed how much she loves that the success of her business is not tied to a hit album or a blockbuster film:
“One thing I love about myself is this business is that I don’t have to rely on the sales of an album, or my movie being a hit for my clothing to be a hit.”
Some are interpreting her comments as low-key shade, but I’m not really sure if her statements were really intended to be undercutting. Now, if you guys want shade, check out her response when asked how she, Djimon and Russell successfully co-parent while maintaining a drama-free blended family.
“I do things for the sake of my children. I know people say that like it’s a cliché, but when you see their life, it’s not for the sake of their children. They’re fighting or I don’t know what, it’s the holidays and someone hits someone else . No, we’re not doing all of that… My kids are very happy, and if you ask them, they don’t have one dad that loves them, they have two.”
Well, alright then.

Oh Really? Peter Says Halle Berry Should Take Some Tips On Co-Parenting From Cynthia
Everybody and their mama has formed some sort of opinion surrounding Halle Berry’s latest drama and it looks like Cynthia Bailey’s big mouthed husband is no different. The entrepreneur had some words of advice for Halle Berry regarding the messy relationship between she and her daughter’s father Gabriel Aubry, as well how she could’ve avoided the ugly Thanksgiving Day brawl which landed Gabriel and Halle’s fiance, Oliver Martinez in the emergency room. I suppose that it makes sense that Thomas would have some insight on the matter considering that his step-daughter, Noel, is actually a product of Cynthia’s previous relationship with actor, Leon. Check out the interesting “words of wisdom” mixed with criticism Peter had for the Oscar-winning actress in his interview with UPTOWN.
On how Halle could’ve avoided the situation
“Halle Berry had the power to shut it down. This is a very volatile situation that she’s put herself in once again. He’s dropping off his daughter and all Halle had to do is come out of the house, meet the baby half way … and keep it moving and that man can go about his business.”
Why Halle should take advice from Cynthia
“Halle should take tips from my beautiful wife, Cynthia, and how she’s handled the situation with me, her daughter Noel and Leon. The way she dealt with it out the gate was I couldn’t even walk in her house until I sat down to dinner with her child’s father. She made sure that everything was so cordial before it could accelerate.”
On how Cynthia could’ve also had baby daddy drama
“He might say something. I might say something and then it jumps off,” said Peter, describing a scenario in which Leon first meets Peter unexpectedly at Cynthia’s house. “Leon would get heated because he wouldn’t have known this man that was up in the house with his little daughter.”
I guess we should just be glad Peter actually has someting positive to say abut his wife, even if this situation is none of his business.
What do you think about Peter’s words for Halle? Is he dead on or out of line?

Glad That’s Settled: Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Reach Agreement In Bitter Custody Battle
It seems that actress Halle Berry and ex-lover Gabriel Aubry have decided to put aside their differences and have reached an agreement that is in the best interest of their 4-year-old daughter Nahla.
Halle and Gabriel have been running back and forth to court since the Thanksgiving Day showdown occurred between Gabriel and Halle’s fiance Oliver Martinez in her driveway, which resulted in both men being treated in the emergency room for injuries sustained during the brawl and Gabriel eventually in police custody. Since the altercation, Halle was granted a temporary restraining order that prohibited Gabriel from coming within 100 feet of her, Oliver, and Nahla. The temporary order expired Tuesday and Halle sought to make it permanent. Gabriel wasn’t having it, as the order would have ultimately kept him from seeing his child, so the two have been duking it out in family court ever since. Until yesterday, that is. It is being reported by E! News that after two days of courtroom drama, the two have put an end to the ugly custody dispute.
While exact details of the agreement have not been revealed, Halle’s attorney, Blair Berk is said to have passed E! News a handwritten note after emerging from the courtroom that read:
“The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statement on the matter.”
I’m sure Halle and Gabriel are both letting out huge sighs of relief as it looked like this could get extremely ugly(ier) and appeared as if the situation had the potential to drag on forever. Hopefully the two will continue to work together with Nahla’s best interest always being first priority since she is the one who is most effected by their constant disputing and attempts at hurting each other. One source even shared with US Weekly that they seemed to be using Nahla as a “pawn” and that she was suffering because of it. Hopefully these parents have seen the error of their ways.
Do you believe Halle and Gabriel have put the drama behind them?

Finding Good Love Is Hard For Halle–And Everybody Else: Why The Grass Isn’t Always Prettier On The Other Side

FayesVision/WENN.com
This whole Halle Berry, Gabriel Aubry and Olivier Martinez triangle is the stuff of daytime soap operas, Tyler Perry scripts and late night Nollywood films (yes, Nollywood, not Hollywood, I’m a HUGE fan). I’ve been popping popcorn for two days now. But it also confirms something I have suspected for a long time: the grass ain’t always greener on the other side.
Halle Berry has managed to obliterate everything some of us want to believe about modern dating, particularly black women and dating. No, despite ever growing popular opinion, going white isn’t always right, and can end just as bad as (if not worse) a relationship with a black, brown, green or purple man. And no, dating a younger man doesn’t guarantee easier relations either. Oh yeah, and being pretty doesn’t shield you from ugly drama either.
I mean, this is Halle Berry we are talking about. Halle. Berry. She is, by all generalizations, the ideal standard of beauty. Matter of fact, in 2003, she was named Most Beautiful Woman in the World by People, which is a huge feat for any woman, let alone a woman of color. There are not too many men – and some women too – in this world, who would say they would kick Halle Berry out of bed. But even despite her international allure, she stays in more relationship drama than a little bit.
David Justice? Wesley Snipes? Eric Benet? Gabriel Aubry? Seriously, if Halle Berry can’t get her love life straight, what hope is there for the rest of us? It just shouldn’t be this hard out here for a beautiful pimp.
There’s a lot of research, as well as general belief, which suggests that good-looking people enjoy many perks in life, chief among them is having no difficulty attracting potential partners. However, beauty can be a double-edged sword and what works at attracting a partner can also work at keeping them away too. Take for instance the alpha man, motivated by his own ego, who sees a beautiful woman as just a sexual conquest or a trophy as opposed to a long term relationship. On the flip side of that is the gentle beta man, who while motivated by the heart and emotional intimacy, may feel too intimidated by a beautiful woman to act upon his feelings.
Certainly, many beautiful women have found their soul mates, however being beautiful is not a guarantee that love and happiness will be mutually exclusive. As the old saying goes, which has floated from the lips of many men I’ve met over the years; show me a beautiful woman and I’ll show you someone who is sick of tapping that. And just like the rest of us average looking plain Johns and Janes, beautiful people have to work at relationships too. And they also make really bad choices in mates as well.
Judging by the severity of Aubry’s face, I think Martinez might have some anger management issues. I’ve actually seen people, who stole something from someone, not have their faces jacked up the way Aubry’s is thanks to Halle’s new man. Probably the biggest saving grace for the beautiful is that if one relationship fails, there are never short of other potential partners to take his or her place. And one thing I can say about Berry is that despite the drama, and what they might say about her when news stories like the Thanksgiving Berry brawl surface, there is no shortage of men willing to roll around in the trenches for her affection. So she will be all right.
The Paperwork Doesn’t Lie: Halle Berry And Gabriel Aubry Were Secretly Married?
Mmm mmm mmmm. The Halle Berry-Gabriel Aubry ratchgedy just keeps getting deeper and deeper. A lot of us have been questioning why everyone involved in this saga’s feelings are so intense all these years after Halle and Gabriel split and their daughter Nahla was born. Obviously there’s a child involved but emotions seem to be running just a tad deeper than that and a new detail revealed in Gabriel’s restraining order may help explain all of that. It appears the model has not just been fighting with the mother of his child and her fiance, he is arguing with his ex-wife.
Extra TV got a hold of the restraining order paperwork he filed asking for a protection order against Oliver after he whooped him something terrible, and when it came to a question asking for the relationship to protected person, the line reads:
“Fiancé of petitioner’s ex-wife”
That’s quite interesting since many from the outside have not just labeled Gabriel a “baby daddy” but have looked at him as nothing more than a donor who came along with the right genes at the right time to fulfill Halle’s wish of becoming a mother. We obviously knew the two were involved more than just in between the sheets but it appears they weren’t just girlfriend and boyfriend during that time, but possibly husband and wife because I can’t think of any logical (or illogical) explanation for why Gabriel would refer to Halle as his ex-wife in a legal document if it weren’t true.
While we wait for confirmation on that front, one thing that has been semi-determined about this threesome is that criminal charges against Gabriel are “highly unlikely.” Law enforcement sources told TMZ the consensus on the Thanksgiving altercation between Halle’s ex-husband (?) and fiance is that it was “mutual combat.” So far it’s not clear if he’ll be quite as lucky when it comes to the restraining order against him though. The protection order is supposed to expire tomorrow but Halle could go back to court and request a new one. I have a hunch that she’ll do just that. But while we wait for that news what do you think about this latest development?
Do you think Halle and Gabe were secretly married?
Black Eye Don’t Care: Gabriel Aubry Heads To Family Court To Have Restraining Order Lifted
Yesterday we reported that as a result of the nasty Thanksgiving Day brawl that went down at Halle Berry’s house between her fiance Oliver Martinez and the father of her child, Gabriel Aubry, the actress was granted a temporary restraining order by a family court judge, which prohibited Gabriel from coming within 100 feet of her, Nahla, and Oliver. The temporary restraining order expires today and news has been circulating that Halle and her team of lawyers would be seeking to make this restraining order permanent. We knew that Gabriel wouldn’t take something like that sitting down considering the fact that this would ultimately prohibit him from seeing his daughter and now TMZ is reporting that Aubry will be heading to family court to plead with the judge to lift the protective order so that he will be able to see Nahla.
It is being said that his lawyers will be using the defense that Oliver is actually the one who initiated the fight and that he is responsible for severely injuring Gabriel. Extremely graphic photos of Gabriel’s facial injuries have been released, which could certainly assist in that defense tactic as they depict an obviously battered Aubry. Sources are even sharing that Oliver proceeded to pound Gabriel’s head against the concrete and even threatened to kill him. In addition to the photo, it has been revealed that Gabriel has also obtained a restraining order against Oliver.
I’m not sure what Oliver’s face looked like following the altercation, but if this pic is accurate, it certainly looks like he put the beats on Gabriel and came out completely unscathed. Some are wondering if Los Angeles Police arrested the wrong person, while others believe that Gabriel jumped to fight the wrong person and got exactly what he was looking for. Since we were not there, it is difficult to call what actually went down on that fateful day in Halle’s driveway, but we hope these two adults can put on their parenting caps and reach a agreement that will be beneficial to their child as opposed to their own selfish attempts at harming each other.
Do you believe it is fair for Halle to keep Gabriel away for his daughter as a result of this incident?

We Saw This Coming: Halle Berry Wants A Permanent Restraining Order Against Gabriel Aubry
Last week we reported that Halle Berry’s fiance Oliver Martinez and her daughter’s father, Gabriel Aubry both wound up in the Emergency Room after they got into a tussle on Thanksgiving when Gabriel showed up at Halle’s home to drop off Nahla. The saga seems to only continue this week as TMZ is reporting that Halle will be heading to court sometime this week to seek a permanent restraining order against Aubry. When the incident first occurred, the judge issued a temporary restraining order which restricted Gabriel from coming within 100 feet of Halle, Nahla and Oliver; however, that order expires this Tuesday.
It is being said that Halle is extremely concerned that didn’t have enough control to refrain from trying to fight Oliver in front of Nahla and that him being around her child poses a huge risk because he didn’t think clearly enough about his actions and the emotional trauma that he could have potentially caused Nahla.
After last week’s incident, both men were released from the hospital, but Gabriel found himself in police custody where he was booked for misdemeanor battery but was let go after he made bail, which was set at $20,000. Thankfully Nahla did not witness the scuffle.
While Gabriel and Oliver could have handled their differences in a more mature manner, trying to get a judge to issue a permanent restraining order against the man that would prevent him from seeing his child is a little extreme. However, as ugly as things got between Halle and Gabriel during their custody battle I guess an occurrence of this magnitude was almost inevitable. I’m not sure what it is with celebrities always seeking to keep the other parent from seeing their children once the relationship goes south but it seems to be a very spiteful and vindictive trend that only serves as a major injustice to the children in the long run.
Hopefully Gabriel can seek some help for his temper and he and Halle will learn to work through their differences for Nahla’s sake.
Do you believe Halle’s attempt to get a permanent restraining order against Gabriel is reasonable?
