Another week, another evening eye candy. And this week we have another handsome fella submitted to us through one of our readers. Get to know Skyler Scott, who calls himself Skyy Hendrix. He’s a former football player who is trying his hand at modeling, and he definitely has the body for it! Skyler is of Jamaican and Egyptian heritage and currently resides in Dallas. The 24-year-old is also a dedicated dad (he shows off his adorable little boy on Instagram), and is the owner of some gorgeous long locs, light brown eyes, smooth skin and a killer set of abs! We definitely think he’s handsome, and those that follow him agree because they leave comments like this on his pictures:
“Your f**king gorgeous.”
“I need a bucket. The thirst is real!”
“You are the most gorgeous man ever. Like literally the definition of perfect…”
“Gods blessing, that you are”
Yes, the thirst is quite real. But what do you think? Check out more images of Mr. Scott on the next few pages and share your thoughts on whether or not he’s your type of eye candy down below. We definitely like what we see!
Today’s evening eye candy was submitted to us by a reader and this hunk’s name is Fabrice Auguste. Out of Haiti, the fitness trainer is owner of the gym XRIMFIT gym there and as you will soon see, he takes his body, and the bodies of others (as a personal trainer) seriously. He’s got rock hard abs, poppin’ pecs and we know you will love the luscious lips he was blessed with. Check out more shots of Mr. Auguste on the next few pages and let us know if you like what you see.
Now I think I understand why they call him Michael “Bae” Jordan. The actor, who has been on television since he was 12, really had everyone talking when he played Oscar Grant in Fruitvale Station, and he had all the ladies thinking, ‘MY, how you’ve grown up…’
Michael B. Jordan didn’t initially set out to be an actor, but he’s now on the A-list, covering major magazines like Vanity Fair, and starring in the upcoming film Creed (he stars as Rocky character Apollo Creed’s son), and also as the Human Torch in the Fantastic Four reboot, coming out in 2015. Yes, Jordan has come a long way since his days as Wallace in The Wire and Reggie on “All My Children” (ha!) and he’s definitely coming into his own. Did we mention he’s fine?
Check out more of this handsome fella, this week’s evening eye candy, on the next few pages! I’m sure he’ll start your Labor Day weekend off right thanks to those bright eyes, that sweet smile and those very alluring lips…what was I saying?
Get to know the gorgeous Willy Monfret. The model, DJ and producer is of French and Afro-Caribbean background and was born and raised in Paris. Monfret is currently based in New York, and is a popular House Music DJ in the city. He also studies acting and was featured as Nicki Minaj’s love interest in her video for “Right Thru Me” from her first album, Pink Friday. As for his modeling work, Monfret has been featured in everything from GQ, Vogue and Men’s Health to ads for Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein.
The women who follow his Instagram can’t get enough of Monfret’s bright blue eyes and smirk, and neither can we! For that reason, we’ve featured him as our Evening Eye Candy of the week. Check out this pretty fella on the next few pages and let us know what you think.
1997. That was the year that I first made Wesley Jonathan my imaginary boo in my head after I locked eyes on him when he was the star of the NBC sitcom City Guys. It was the “urban” version of Saved By The Bell and the show was what I flocked to every Saturday morning, too ready to sing the “Roll With The City Guys” theme song as the show started.
We’re far from 1997 at this point, but somehow, some way, Wesley Jonathan is still fine as that “thang.” In fact, in all that time, he’s become a fitness fiend, and his six pack, plump pecs and tight arms show off all his hard work. These days, aside from working out on the beach, Jonathan is back on television, co-star of the popular TV Land sitcom, The Soul Man with Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash. He’s also expecting a child and had this to say about his thoughts on fatherhood:
“The most frightening thing about expecting a child is whether or not you’re going to be a good parent. Are you going to be able to raise a decent human being and citizen of mankind? The other fear is, God forbid, losing your child to some accident or some crazy madness. God has blessed us to be able to procreate, [and so we have to] let instincts and mother nature take its course. Everything should be alright.”
And he’s going to be a great, and super fine dad! Check out all the reasons why we still crush on Jonathan in our gallery.
Get to know “For Better or Worse” cutie Brad James. Even before snagging the role of Todd on the Tyler Perry show, James was already all over our TV screens, showing off his talents while appearing in ads for everyone from Walmart, Blackberry and AutoTrader.com. The former Marine is now a series regular on a hit TV show and starring in TV movies and films with some very talented veterans. James just did his thing alongside Tatyana Ali and Charles S. Dutton in the TV movie Comeback Dad, and was in the movie Prisoners last year with Viola Davis, Terrence Howard, Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal. In an interview with Ebony, the Augusta, Georgia native spoke of how he broke into the industry:
“I was walking in Atlanta and a woman stopped me and asked me to attend an audition,” he shares. “I was chosen for a part, but she wasn’t. We still became friends.” After a small chuckle, James adds: “Acting is something I always wanted to do. But I didn’t know how to get started in Augusta.”
Things clearly worked out well for the actor and director, who, in case you haven’t noticed, is quite the looker! That’s why we’ve picked him as our Evening Eye Candy of the week. Check out more of his good looks in our gallery and share your thoughts below!
Get to know a little something about the very handsome Brit rapper by the name of Tinie Tempah. Born and raised in London, Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu (where my fellow Nigerians at!?) has quite the fan base across the pond, even winning Best International Act from the UK during the 2011 BET Awards. He’s worked with a wide range of people and is known for his sharp sense of style (and his uber muscular body). But like a true Naija boy, he’s all about furthering his education, and plans to try to when he gets some time (and a few more millions):
“I definitely want to be in a financial position where I can head off to Cambridge or Oxford or somewhere. I would study something like music management or something extremely random like physics, which no-one would expect, as I like challenges.”
Not only does he have brains, and a British accent, but he also has a body too! And did we mention that he often wears a very se*y beard? Yep! We’re liking what we’re seeing. Check out more of what Mr. Tempah has to offer on the next few pages and let us know what you think.
If you haven’t heard of the upcoming film Dear White People, where have you been? The satirical drama (and comedy actually), set to hit theaters on October 17, follows a group of black students who attend an Ivy League school, and the realities of racism and foolishness that they bring to light after an “African-American themed” party is thrown by white students on campus. Actor Marque Richardson is one of the stars of the controversial but colorful film, and while many are excited to see the it when it finally comes out, some fans are super excited to see more of Richardson. His name might not be familiar, but he’s been in a little bit of everything with everybody over the years: “The Bernie Mac Show,” “ER,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “True Blood,” and most recently, “The Newsroom.” After his star-making turn in DWP, I’m sure we will be seeing more of him. Until then, get a glimpse of the good looks of Mr. Richardson below, and make sure you check out the hilarious trailer for Dear White People on the last slide.
When Prince Fielder graced the pages of ESPN The Magazine‘s 2014 Body Issue, there were a combination of opinions being thrown around. Some thought he looked out of shape and didn’t need to be featured, and then there were others who felt that his body was built just fine for his sport (he’s a first baseman for the Texas Rangers). And then there was that other group, comprised mostly of women, who said things like this on social media about the body Fielder built:
“Beard & Belly, LOVE It!”
“Lawd Jesus! He works in mysterious ways!”
“So I just fell in love with Prince Fielder”
“Can I take him home???? I am in love!”
As one woman put it, there’s something very s*xy about a big man with a big body and an even bigger smile. So we agree with the ladies and not the haters: Prince Fielder is a cutie. Check out him, and our other picks for heavy and handsome men we love, because we like having a little somethin’ somethin’ to hold on to…
Model and actor Keston Karter is, for lack of a better word, hella fine! (Sorry, but it needed to be said and we know you’ll agree with us). The cutie has had his good looks featured in music videos (like LeToya Luckett’s “Good To Me”) and on a variety of TV shows (including reality TV programs). Karter was born in Trinidad/Tobago and raised in New York City. He has a love for music (he is a pro at the trumpet and the steel drum) and the theater, and the ladies have love for him! On his Instagram and Facebook accounts, the compliments come pouring in, and you will see why. Check out the gorgeous-ness of Mr. Karter, this week’s delicious evening eye candy, and let us know if you like what you see.
