I’m sure I’m not the only person who has no idea what the movie Pain and Gain is about starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Anthony Mackie, but has an outrageous urge to run to the movie theater to see it the minute it comes out this week. Why? Because of The Rock of course. Since he signed on for this movie, that man has gotten bigger in muscle mass, grown a very alluring mustache and beard combination and is nice and tan all of a sudden, and I’m not sure about you, but it’s doing something for me. So much so that I felt the need to do another Evening Eye Candy slideshow for the brotha, who was one of the first pieces of candy we showed off back in 2011. And if this slideshow isn’t enough for you, I’d encourage you to do like me (his new stan) and become a follower of his new Instagram page, @therock. You won’t be disappointed!

Dolvett Quince

Never has a guy made weight loss, in all its agony, look oh so good. If you are a fan of The Biggest Loser (season 14 just ended last month), you know this guy as the coach with the big heart and a way with words. You know he’s also the best looking coach on the show by a mile, with a body and buns of steel! We’ve been a fan since he joined the show in 2011, and we’re going to keep rocking with him in all his motivational glory so that we can get in our swimsuits this summer. But until then, shall we stare hard at the gorgeous body he has worked hard to keep looking flawless?

As sad as we all were to see Pooch Hall and Tia Mowry-Hardrict go from The Game, I can’t lie, the good looks of newcomer Jay Ellis helps to ease the pain. He is, of course, NOT a replacement for the lovable and fine Derwin Davis, but a whole new very interesting and very delicious looking new character by the name of Bryce “Blueprint” Westbrooke. In the season premiere, we got to see him flash a nice smile, get beat up and show off that very impressive body he’s clearly been working on while trying to get with Lauren London’s character of Keira Whitaker. So who is Jay Ellis? Click through our Evening Eye Candy gallery, get an eyeful of what he’s working with, and find out!

Just a week or two ago I was flipping through channels when I came across a movie called La Mission. Benjamin Bratt was the star, and his co-star was one of my favorite people, Erika Alexander of Living Single fame (Maxine Shaw, attorney at law). The movie was actually pretty great (about a father, an ex-con father, trying to cope with the fact that his son is gay), but more importantly, I couldn’t help but notice that even when covered in tattoos and hair, Benjamin Bratt looked like a bag of money (yes, a bag of money). And it made me go back and and look at images from his other movies, including the hilarious Miss Congeniality, the terrible Catwoman and the pretty good Love in the Time of Cholera. Delicious. So with that, I thought, why not explore this man’s fine-ness through an eye candy gallery? Check out what the actor is working with on the next few pages.

You’ve seen Rockmond Dunbar all over the place over the years, and for good reason. He’s good looking and a very talented actor. But did we mention that he’s good looking? The guy known for playing Kenny Chadway on Soul Food, C-Note on Prison Break, and most recently, as Sheriff Eli Roosevelt on Sons of Anarchy (there are way too many good-looking guys on that show!) has come a long way in Hollywood, and is now a much-respected director too. He should be proud, but, he should also be really proud at the opportunity to be our Evening Eye Candy. He did earn it though! Check out what he’s working with in our slideshow.

Evening Eye Candy: Actor, Former Model, And Real Husband Of Hollywood, Boris Kodjoe

Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe has been a hottie since his early modeling days, back when he was gyrating in TLC videos (“Red Light Special”) and showing up to look good for Faith Evans “(“Never Let Go”). But since then, he’s proven himself to be more than a pretty face. Kodjoe has established himself as a pretty good actor, a businessman and even a funny man thanks to his time on The Real Husbands of Hollywood. If that’s not enough, he’s also a great dad. Say what you want about Kodjoe’s personality (after seeing him in person and reading about past Twitter comments, yeah, he can be a bit…stank), but no one can deny that this guy is one delicious looking brother, and we’re talking delicious in one of his suits, or bare-chested and shiny. Click on through and you’ll see what we mean!

Some call him CP3, but the rest of us just look at him (and swoon) and call him Chris Paul. The cutie with the big brown eyes has been killing the game as a point guard for years, first in New Orleans as a Hornet, and currently in Los Angeles as a Clipper (and at Wake Forest if you remember his skills all the way back when). And while the Clippers have spent many years on struggle mode, with Paul at the helm and Blake Griffin at power forward, the Clippers have been having some of their best seasons yet since 2011. And while it’s nice to watch Paul in action, it’s just as nice to just look at the 6’0″ baller, who has as much personality as he has game. He’s one of the NBA’s finest in every sense of the word, and for that reason, we’ve decided to showcase the brother as candy. Enjoy!

Vintage Evening Eye Candy: Motown Men Smokey Robinson And Marvin Gaye

Motown

He was Motown’s beloved songwriter and Miracles frontman, the other was one of Motown’s best and brightest stars and Tammi Terrell’s other half on records. Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye were two of Motown’s biggest acts and with their talent and hits, they were the object of so many young womens’ affections around the country. Just ask my mom! She loved her some Smokey Robinson! Maybe it was the light eyes of Smokey, the dashing good looks of Marvin, and the pull both men had at Motown (plus, any man that can sing “Crusin’” make the “Star Spangled Banner” alluring is a man every woman loves), whatever it was, in their day, both men had it going on. Don’t believe me? Take a look through our vintage slideshow celebrating their good looks and great contributions to music to see what we’re talking about.

Vintage Evening Eye Candy: An “Off The Wall” And “Thriller” Era Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson. You know the story, you’ve pretty much known since Michael was six and started dancing and jigging and doing a mean robot with his brothers in the Jackson 5. Before he had a Cirque du Soleil show made for him, had everyone dress like him for Halloween, had most musicians count him as the reason they got into music, and went through a massive amount of physical changes, he was just a young star trying to make a name for himself as a solo artist. He had the looks, the charisma, and he damn sure had the talent. We know that he would reach a massive amount of success both in the states and internationally, and that that same gargantuan amount of notoriety constantly made him a target for many rumors and negativity, but before all that, he was just our crush, and we would, in our minds, try and replace Ola Ray with ourselves in the “Thriller” video. Let’s take a look back at Mike’s golden years, around the time of the success of Off The Wall and Thriller. Shall we?

Before he was the voice of Mufasa, or he was was being named the Best Professional Football Player Ever by SportingNews, they were just good looking dudes trying to make it in their respective careers. James Earl Jones was a dominating theater actor and after having a successful career as a football star, Jim Brown was making his name known as an elite actor and action star. Time has passed and their legacies are well known, but the early days and the hot-ness they had going on, not enough people know about. In honor of Black History Month, we’re taking our Eye Candy down memory lane. Enjoy!
