Rashida Jones has apologized for suggesting that John Travolta is gay during an interview on website SpinningPlatters.com.
The actress was plugging her new movie “Celeste and Jesse Forever” with her co-star Will McCormack when the subject of singer Frank Ocean and his admission to being gay came up.
‘”There needs to be, like, a professional athlete that comes out,” said McCormack, before Jones blurted out, “And a movie star! It’s time…Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this.”

He is a multi-million dollar corporation unto himself with wide ranging interests and revenue streams as numerous as the battle scars that adorn his frame. But he is a gangster rapper in the eyes the multitude. A mere talking head broadcasting street tales to the general public. But a lie doesn’t magically become the truth just because everyone believes it.
Recently I had the chance to talk with 50 regarding his upcoming film “Freelancers” (opening in select cities, including NYC and LA this weekend). With a supporting cast that features Robert De Niro, Forest Whitaker and Dana Delaney, this is one action-packed ride is yet another worthy offering in Jackson’s fast growing catalog of films.

Harsh Words: Lupe Fiasco Says President Obama Kills Little Children

*Lupe Fiasco is an outspoken artist who trails the path for younger and even older rappers in the industry.
His witty tongue and courageous heart have won him the reputation of being a politically conscious artist, truly saying what he’s observed.
His most recent controversy stems from his thoughts about the president.
On a radio interview with Philly’s Power 99, he blatantly said Obama is a baby killer.
“One hand, you have someone who is a great speaker, but kills little children – our president,” he noted. “I’m talking about ordering a drone attack. Ordering drone attacks that go and kill mothers, innocent bystanders, children. Militants too, but the collateral damage. You’re responsible for that, too.”
Lupe was referring to the recent drone attacks on alleged Al Qeda forces. However, drones are increasingly being used more to enforce the law domestically.
The rapper isn’t fazed by the president’s intentions. Instead, he believes the president is responsible for all life taken by his hand.

RadarOnline.com reports that Kanye hired a jeweler to create a custom engagement ring for Kim from pieces of his late mother’s jewelry. Yeah he’s got money flowing out of his ears to buy something shiny and pretty, but sources say he wanted something very special for his special woman.

Tempest Bledsoe Is Back On TV With a New Positve Black Family Sitcom

NBC is branching out and reaching to touch more with multi ethnic stories.
Next on the network’s line up of black programming is “Guys with Kids,” starring Tempestt Bledsoe and Anthony Anderson.
The co-stars told the Associated Press that they are going to be representing positive images of black families.
“We just don’t have that right now, not on network television,” said Anderson, who has two children of his own. “Like the Cosby Show, this will be an opportunity to see the love, support, humor and beauty of a black family on TV.”
Produced by Jimmy Fallon, the show is about three dads trying to hold onto their youth as they experience their 30s.

Serena Williams just beat Victoria Azarenka in straight sets to reach her 7th final at Wimbledon, where she’ll face first-time finalist Agnieszka Radwanska on Saturday for the title.
Williams, who clocked a record 24 aces during the match, was dominant on her own serve throughout the first set, losing just four points in her five service games and winning 94% of points on her first serve.
In contrast, Azarenka had to fight a lot harder for each service game. The break eventually came in the penultimate game of the set, giving Williams a 5-3 lead that she quickly turned into 6-3 to take the first.

Yes, Kelly’s sex life looms large over the book. He is frank about his inability to remain faithful to his girlfriends or wife. And there are brief paragraphs where he discusses the “supposed sex tape,” but they feel legally sanitized. And well-known stories about who leaked the tape and why are never addressed. “Certain episodes could not be included for complicated reasons,” Kelly writes in the author’s note at the beginning of the book.
