I’m not sure what the statute of limitations is for blaming someone for the reason your marriage failed but I’d say Vladislav Doronin and Naomi Campbell’s relationship is way past that date.

The thing is, Naomi’s Russian billionaire boo is still married and his estranged wife, Ekaterina, says Naomi is the reason they’re divorcing. What she doesn’t mention is that she and Vladislav were already separated for nearly 10 years before Naomi came in the picture, and her husband had already been in a 7-year relationship with someone else before the two even met. If anyone has something to do with their divorce, it might be the first jump-off, but if Ekaterina and her husband hadn’t gotten back together by the time Naomi came around it was probably already a done deal.

Some speculate that Ekaterina is making the accusations in order to get more money in the divorce settlement, although comments she reportedly made recently suggest she has no intention of ending her 24-year “marriage.”

“It’s a ridiculous affair. Vladislav is married to me and we are still a couple, she said. “Naomi is deluding herself if she thinks she can take my husband.”

Naomi does seem to have a bit of a different take on the situation. According to a friend close to her,

“Naomi is pleased that Ekaterina has finally agreed to give Vladislav a divorce, but she is upset she is planning on blaming her for the marriage breakdown. She is no homewrecker. The truth is that Vladislav had been separated from her for a very long time when he and Naomi got together.”

Considering Naomi and Vlad have been together since 2008 and they live together in Moscow, it’s about time for Ekaterina to count her losses and look at the situation for what it really is. Homewrecker charges or not, her estranged husband is a billionaire and they have a 15-year-old daughter together—she’ll get broke off regardless, no need to make the divorce messier than necessary.
