All day we read stories about celebrities–like “My Wife and Kids” star Jennifer Freeman who bit her husband in a fight over text messages–living their lives, going through ups and downs and it seems like lately, a lot of tragedy. And it always gets the most attention, right?
How do you set the scene for the ultimate romantic date night?
We spend so much time looking at TV shows, magazines and blogs with people who are done up, perfectly coiffed, air-brushed and, ahem, Botoxed that sometimes we forget that we’re fine just the way we are.
Madames, would you rather be a total working woman or a total housewife?
I say total because in reality, we all know that most women who aren’t single are juggling family and work, that’s just the way of the world. I overheard a conversation the other day where two men were discussing the advantages and disadvantages of being with a woman who had a high-powered, very demanding, time-consuming career versus a woman who had a more relaxed and less demanding career. These guys were having their say, so it made me wonder what the majority of women would choose if we could step out of reality for a few minutes and create the “perfect ” scenario…
In your ideal world, would you prefer to be a career woman who brings home the bacon or a family woman who fries it up in a pan? Or are you at the point in your life where you’ve chosen to be a housewife or stay-at-home mom or career woman?
Yes, I know. Here I go with this “list” again. But I think every woman has to have standards and stick to them when it comes to relationships, and why not actually write down what you want? Put it out in the universe AND have it documented so that when you start to stray away from your standards, BAM, there’s your list right there to set you back on track with the things you want and deserve out of life.
