Hollywood relationships between two celebrities are all but expected nowadays, but there have been some celebrity hook ups that shocked us all. From a mismatched couple to a relationship that was so quick no one knew or talked much of it, there have definitely been some celebrity relationships that no one saw coming. Here are 15 of those.

Jokesters Kathy Griffin and Jack Black had a brief fling together, but can you image all of the laughs these two had? Nowadays Kathy is dating Randy Bick, a guy 17 years younger. On the other hand, Jack Black is now married to Tanya Haden.

Oh how the tables have turned. When the woman is the one with the spotlight and the power as a Hollywood starlet, it can be hard to find real love. Ask the famous women who dated these 10 fellas. I’m sure they thought they had found true love, but unfortunately, what they found was a hot a** mess that looked pretty good in a suit from time to time. David Justice

Before Eric Benet, and the slew of other gorgeous men that Halle Berry has dated and split from, there was David Justice. Justice is a former baseball star who was an outfielder for the Yankees, the Braves, the Indians and the Oakland Athletics. And while he was winning on the field, he was also winning off the field because he managed to scoop up-and-coming actress, Halle Berry. While things seemed to be peachy keen on the outside, the two had major issues, and wound up separating in 1996, with a divorce following in ’97. When it was all said and done, things ended very messy, with Berry needing to file a restraining order against Justice during their divorce proceedings. After the fact, Berry became very depressed and even entertained the thought of suicide before the thought of her mother got her back on track. We know what Halle’s on these days, but as for Justice, he’s married again to a woman named Rebecca Villalobos. Of course, he is retired, and for a few years there, was a game and studio analyst. Nice to see that both have moved on and are happy campers again.

Lenny Kravitz and Nicole Kidman

After her much publicized split with actor Tom Cruise, it was pretty safe to say that Nicole Kidman was open to trying new things, including black men. In 2003, this short relationship all started when Kidman was said to be renting Lenny Kravitz’s apartment. Then all of a sudden, the two started showing up at events together looking all bohemian chic and shy walking away from paparazzi. Kidman’s spokeswoman was even a tad bit in the dark about their blooming relationship when she responded to questions from People: “They’re very close,” says her spokeswoman Leslee Dart. “He’s very important to her. Beyond that, I don’t know.” Can’t say they were the best fit for one another, because from an outside view the Australian actress and the black Jewish (half-Jewish) rockstar don’t seem to have all that much in common, but he has to be the best rebound boo a girl can have. Damn!

Nicole Kidman and Q-Tip

But Lenny wasn’t the only chocolate fella that Nicole was checking for. Kidman dated rapper and “A Tribe Called Quest” frontman Q-Tip in the same year she got real close for comfort with Lenny Kravitz. And while many people speculated and others assumed the rumors weren’t true, Q-Tip has talked about their short relationship in the media a lot since they parted ways. During the listening party for his album The Renaissance in 2008, a particular Q&A question about the actress finally provided a straightforward answer:

“Of course, this being star central, you couldn’t only ask Q-Tip about music. One question almost ended his impromptu Q&A session. Did he really date Nicole Kidman? The puzzled rapper gave an “aw, come on” look and said, “I know this is Hollywood, and y’all got a penchant for [those kinds of questions]. Yes, I did. So what?”

Move over Diddy! Before there was Ojani Noa, Diddy, Cris Judd, Ben Affleck, Marc Anthony, or her new arm candy, Casper Smart, J. Lo tried her best to get acquainted with Wesley Snipes around their Money Train filming days. The two shared a heated love scene in the movie, and you would think the passion would appear off-screen too. But they didn’t last too long, just dating and kicking it in late 1994. J.LO even tried to say that sex scene with the now-imprisoned actor was “horrible.” Dang, girl! I guess the two Leos just weren’t all that compatible in the end.
