Many women choose to keep their ex-husband’s last name after divorce for so many reasons. Some keep it for the sake of their children, some say it’s part of their personal brand, and others say they “earned it.” Whatever the reason, the choice always seems to draw speculation of ill intent, but that makes these women no nevermind. Here are 15 celebs who’ve kept it movin’ with the last name in tow.
Porsha Stewart has decided to keep Kordell Stewart’s last name despite their pending divorce. With all that he put her through you would think she would want no ties to a man who kept her under lock and key. Porsha explained on the Wendy Williams Show why she chose to keep Stewart as her last name: “I’m going to keep Stewart. It’s not his name, it’s my name,” said Porsha. “I was Porsha Williams and I was at one point in my life before I got married. Marriage has taught me so much. I’m a whole ‘nother woman now. So, I’m going to own that last name. It belongs to me.”
I always look at women with buzz cuts as extremely bold and beautiful, mostly because I don’t have the courage to chop my hair off to such a low cut. And probably because I don’t trust my bald head to be so smooth and well…bump-free. So let’s just say I live vicariously through the following beauties, who look or have looked absolutely fabulous with their buzz cuts over the years. And maybe they’ll even give you the courage to try something new with your hair too…
The beauty we know best from Rush Hour 3, who is also a gorgeous French model, chopped her curly coif off years back, and even showed it off in the film (to the shock and damn near horror of Chris Tucker’s character). Lenoir even took it a step further when she dyed the look beach blonde. But the above look, widow’s peak and all, we like best!
We’ve all heard the old adage: Black don’t crack, but these celebrities prove that sometimes white don’t crack either.
Television personality Patti Stanger has a knack for hooking women up with rich men. Founding her company, Millionaire’s Club International, in 2000, Stanger landed her own show on Bravo eight years later. Although she has helped others find love, the buxom 52-year-old has yet to make it down the aisle. But that may soon change. The “Millionaire Matchmaker” star is currently rocking a “promise ring” from baseball player turned mortgage broker David Krause.

Sometimes we can’t fathom another actor or actress starring in one of our favorite movies but believe it or not, switches are made behind the scenes all the time and stars miss out on some potentially big opportunities. Here’s a list of 15 actors who passed up roles of a lifetime.
Will Smith- The Matrix
Will Smith has played a cowboy in a western, a captain in the Marine Corp fighting aliens and an agent assigned to track down extraterrestrial alien refugees but do you think he could’ve pulled off the role of a computer programmer in the action sci-fi thriller The Matrix? Well, neither did he. The action mega star admitted he passed up the role of Neo, which went to Keanu Reeves, because he wasn’t ready as an actor. “You know, The Matrix is a difficult concept to pitch. In the pitch, I just didn’t see it. I watched Keanu’s performance – and very rarely do I say this – but I would have messed it up. I would have absolutely messed up The Matrix,” said Smith. “At that point I wasn’t smart enough as an actor to let the movie be. Whereas Keanu was smart enough to just let it be. Let the movie and the director tell the story, and don’t try and perform every moment.”

Although they broke up and moved on with other people, we just can’t seem to get over these high-profile celebrity relationships that we thought were a match made in heaven. Here are 15 celebrity couples that we wish could have stood the test of time.
Kanye and Alexis
Before there was Kanye West and Kim Kardashian or even Kanye and Amber Rose, there was Kanye and Alexis. The Chicago rapper/producer met Alexis Phifer back in 2002 and the cute couple dated on and off for four years before West finally popped the question. After an 18-month whirlwind engagement the two went their separate ways citing his hectic touring schedule as the cause. West dated then-unknown model Amber Rose before settling down with the reality show superstar who is now pregnant with their first child.

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we felt it was time to show some love to the most stunning, most beautiful, most age-defying mother-daughter combos Hollywood has to offer. And while there are many lovely sets of mamas and baby girls to choose from, there was little denying that these pairs deserved some special props. From Tina and Beyonce Knowles to Kim Basinger and Ireland Baldwin, these duos hold it down for mothers and daughters far and wide.

Soap operas are pretty much a dying genre now, but there was a time when daytime television shows were a springboard to launch some of Hollywood’s biggest careers. Don’t think so? Here are 15 stars who got their big break on the soaps.
Brad Pitt may have turned heads as a hitchhiker in the 1991 movie Thelma & Louise, but the future Hollywood hunk began his acting career on daytime television. In 1987, the Curious Case of Benjamin Button actor appeared on two episodes of “Another World” as Chris. Pitt also appeared on an episode of “Growing Pains” that same year. He went on to have a hugely successful career in Hollywood and a successful dating life before settling down with Jennifer Aniston. Although that marriage didn’t work out, Pitt has found happiness with actress Angelina Jolie.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have been battling over money for a year, stalling their divorce. More recently, Bethenny Frankel announced her split from her husband Jason Hoppy. The Daily Mail reports that Frankel (somewhat drunkenly) approached Katie Holmes at a party to gather contact info for Holmes’ divorce lawyer. Frankel, who has turned her stint as a New York Housewife into her own talk show, the Skinnygirl, two spin-off shows, a fitness DVD, and other endeavors, has a lot to protect. And remember Nas and Kelis’ mega money dispute that played out in the media during their divorce proceedings?
Divorce isn’t just about ending a marriage. It is also about money. There can be battles over shared assets and a divorce itself can be costly. Michael Jordan’s divorce from Juanita Jordan was estimated to have cost Jordan $260 million and was considered by Forbes magazine to be “the most expensive celebrity divorce” in history, as of April 2007. When Tiger Woods got divorced from Elin Nordegren it cost him a reported $100 million.
Besides the settlements just the divorce proceedings themselves can rack up bills. If you can’t do the divorce yourself because of a messy separation, going to court means paying a variety of fees. According to a Huffington Post blog by family court attorney Diane L. Danois, subpoenas seeking financial and employment documentation, motions filed objecting to the subpoenas or for failure to timely comply, and hearings will all have to be paid for. And this is just the beginning.
“This chapter of the litigation process can easily run up an additional $5,000,” write Danois, which breaks down the actual costs of divorce item by item. Typically, a family court case involving divorce, can range from from $15,000 to $35,000, or more to litigate, says Danois.
You can choose the cheaper route of mediation (which can range between $500 and $3,000) if there isn’t much to dispute or to do it yourself, if your divorce is simple. Websites such as www.easy-divorce.com, www.completecase.com, and www.mydivorcedocuments.com can help with DIY divorces.
What’s that saying, “Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” These celebrities need to take a good, long, hard look at what that quote really means. There isn’t a person walking this earth who hasn’t gotten involved with one — maybe even two — men or women who they knew were no good from the start but just couldn’t resist the temptation to see what that be like. We can give that a pass. But when you keep chasing after the same thing — even the same person in some cases — that has left you heartbroken and worse off than you were when you met them we have no choice but to consider you insane and in need of a (wo)mantervention. Here are 15 celebs who just can’t stop chasing after what’s no good for them.
Stuck on Stupid: Fantasia Barrino
It hurts me to see Fantasia so thirsty for Antwon Cook. She is really trying to make this work even though he let her be the other woman, dumped her, almost drove her to suicide, and then moved on to Kendra James. Now they’re back together and the beef she recently had with his family doesn’t bid well for their future success. Good luck chasing that dream girl.
Nina Simone & Marvin Gaye Biopics Take Notes: First Photos Of Ashton Kutcher As Steve Jobs Drop…And They’re Twins
Can’t say how I feel 100 percent about Ashton Kutcher these days, especially after the whole ugly split between him and Demi Moore and the fact that “Two And A Half Men” is just NOT funny, but I can say that I’m starting to get VERY excited about his starring role in this Steve Jobs biopic. And it will be refreshing to see since I don’t think anyone has watched Kutcher play a serious role since…maybe Butterfly Effect!? Why? To get people excited and the ball rolling on promotion, stills from the movie just dropped with Kutcher dressed like Jobs circa the early ’80s and I must say, these two men look eerily similar.
The photos were put out to also alert people that the movie, jOBS, will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this January, closing out the very popular annual event. According to the Guardian UK, the movie will cover about three decades of the entrepreneur and tech king’s life, and it definitely sounds captivating, just check out the movie description that was put on the Sundance press release. “The true story of one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history, jOBS chronicles the defining 30 years of Steve Jobs’ life. jOBS is a candid, inspiring and personal portrait of the one who saw things differently.” And if that’s not enough for you, get excited because the movie also stars Dermot Mulroney, Matthew Modine and more. Don’t know who those people are? It’s okay, I’m not too sure either, but that’s what they made Google for! Anyway, now that you see the stills, are you excited for the biopic? Do you think Kutcher and Jobs look very similar or is this a miss?
