If I said the name William Levy to you a couple years ago, you probably would have no idea who or what I was talking about. But you can’t keep a good lookin’ a** man down can you? While William Levy was a big heartthrob in Latin America, he finally got some big recognition here in the U.S. when Jennifer Lopez made him her video boo for the visuals of her single, “I’m Into You.” Since then, he’s been on “Dancing With The Stars,” on “Single Ladies” as the delicious Antonio, and in commercials for M&M’s. But who IS William Levy really?

Psych! We’re not interested in all the deep stuff, we just know he looks good and we’re sure you’ll agree, so feel free to drool over the 32-year-old’s gallery of goodness and let us know what you think!

Gladys Knight Drops 60 Pounds Dancing With The Stars

“Dancing With The Stars” is turning into a funner version of “The Biggest Loser” with stars from Kirstie Alley and now Gladys Knight dropping mega pounds while on the show.

Gladys Knight was eliminated from DWTS earlier this week but the Motown singer walked away 60 pounds lighter, and she told PEOPLE she owes most of the weight loss to her dancing partner, Tristan MacManus.

“Tristan helped [by] wearing me out, she said, adding that Freshology’s Getslim with the Stars program was also a big part of her success. “You’ve got to eat healthy and you’ve got to put a little movement into it.”

Gladys will no doubt need that energy as she prepares to start work on a new sitcom centered around the first family but even though she’s moving on, she says she’ll always remember her experience on DWTS.

“[I won't forget] the family and friends I’ve made, the knowledge I’ve gained. “It wasn’t just about dancing, but getting to know different personalities and how they operate and carry themselves. There are so many life lessons here.”

The 67-year-old hasn’t done a big reveal of her new slim figure yet but when she does we bet she’ll look great—even if her husband jokingly doesn’t approve.

“My husband [William McDowell] was like, ‘I got the divorce papers ready, Gladys joked with Essence before the show began this season. You know I don’t like no skinny women.”

Sherri Shepherd Says Goodbye to DWTS

Last night, the ABC hit show “Dancing With the Stars” had it’s third elimination of season 14 and it didn’t work out so well for “The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd.

After she and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, landed in the bottom two spots with fellow competitors Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower, Sherri said a tearful goodbye to the audience as the eliminated star for week 4.

“I just want to say thank you for letting me live a dream I’ve always had,” she told the hosts. “I had the most amazing partner, Val Chmerkovskiy. That thing that scares you the most … run towards it because it’s so amazing on the other side … I had the most amazing time.”

The judges said they were surprised to see Sherri and Val in the bottom spot. “All of us judges are in total shock,” head judge Len Goodman said “This is beyond … The standard is so high, anyone can be in jeopardy, anyone can be safe.”

Well it turns out Roshon and Chelsie are safe and will be returning to compete next week while Sherri will be sticking to her day job for now. At least she enjoyed it while it lasted.

Check out the video of her post-elimination interview here.

Did you follow Sherri on DWTS? Are you surprised she was cut so soon?

Trouble On The Set: Jaleel White Goes Off On ‘DWTS’ Partner

April 3rd, 2012 - By Brande Victorian

Fanpop.com

Jaleel White might have been awfully close to having a Chris Brown temper tantrum at ABC Studios the way he went off during his “Dancing with the Stars” rehearsal last Friday. According to an insider account given to US Magazine, Jaleel “flipped out” after he accidentally stepped on his partner, Kym Johnson’s foot. When Kym exclaimed “ouch” over the mistake, Jaleel reportedly “got in her face,” and called her out for “acting like a baby . . . He was shouting at her, calling her an ‘idiot.’”

Things got so bad that Kym supposedly left the studio crying and fellow celeb competitor Donald Driver “tried to calm him down” while Jaleel “started going off on the producers and shouting about how they put him with a ‘stupid’ partner.” When Pro dancer Mark Ballas got involved that only escalated things and Jaleel reportedly said, “‘You remind me of that annoying sitcom neighbor who gets into everyone’s business!’” Jaleel was banned from the studios for the rest of the day but now he’s refusing to go back at all and wants his “own rehearsal space elsewhere.”

This outburst might seem totally random, but in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jaleel sort of foreshadowed something like this could happen. He told them:

“I don’t know if I’ll ever be comfortable with the cameras there for the entirety of rehearsal … Yeah, [I'm comfortable with] a camera with a great script and ‘action’ and ‘cut’ is wonderful but when you have a camera there capturing your missteps and your frustrations, honestly sometimes you just want to punch the camera.”

Luckily he didn’t take it that far, but this news definitely doesn’t help his defense against allegations from his ex that he was verbally and physically abusive. A rep for Jaleel only had this to say about the incident:[White and Kym Johnson] are getting along great. Watch tonight’s dance.”

That’s not exactly a denial that the flip out happened. Do you think Jaleel is just buckling under the pressure of the show or could he have anger issues?

Wendy Williams Says Sherri Shepherd Gives Stereotypical Black Girl ‘Tude on DWTS

March 21st, 2012 - By Brande Victorian

So in typical Wendy Williams fashion, she threw a little shade at Sherri Shepherd and her “Dancing with the Stars” performance yesterday, except Wendy didn’t really have anything to say about how Sherri danced, she was more concerned with how she acted.

After questioning why Sherri “let them [put] you in all that material,” referring to her dress for Monday night’s competition, and saying Sherri absolutely will not win the competition, Wendy decided to drop a little advice, being an ex-DWTS cast member herself. Here’s what she said:

“I have to say, Sherri, You know when you’re talking to the camera and not doing the dancing…Sherri, you were giving them everything they want to see from us black girls—that loud talk, the gaping laugh…don’t let them do that to you, Sherri.”

Wendy added that the producers of the show tried to pressure her to act like that when she was a contestant.

“I explained to you guys what they actually wanted from me. They wanted me to be all black girl—’oh no she did, oh yes she, oh no. Tony—you is not going to make me dance like that no mo!’ Really? I’m not that girl.”

Since I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars, I tried to find to find a clip to prove Wendy’s point, and while I kind of see where she’s coming from, I honestly don’t think Sherri seems any different from how she is on “The View.” I don’t know what that means exactly, but I’m thinking Wendy might just be hatin’ (again).

Check out this clip of Sherri’s interview after her performance and tell us what you think. Does Wendy have a point?

In my house, the general rule is that when ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” is on, my mother is unavailable. She won’t be taking any calls and she won’t hear you speaking to her. She’s all in. This season I know she’s going to be even harder to reach since her girl Gladys will join the show.

In addition to Gladys, daytime darling Sherri Shepard and child star Jaleel White will also join the cast.

See who else is going to be joining the show at theGrio.com.

Are you a fan of DWTS? Are you more inclined to watch now that Gladys, Sherri and Jaleel are going to be on the show?
