So this story is literally getting strung together by a single, brittle thread but we figure it’s still worth a looksi. Some blogs are starting to speculate that Shaunie O’Neil’s young lover, Marlon Yates, is trading in his Miami castmate for a member of the LA cast because rumor has it, he may have something going on with Draya.

The suspicion is based on a few odd tweets that Draya sent out which are a smidge cryptic, but if you wanted to read through the lines you could pull together a heck of a story, like a lot of sites are. Draya said:

“@MarlonYatesJr lol. No I’m chillin. Impatient if anything. Never mad.”

“@MarlonYatesJr marlon I’m confused. What am I mad about?”

The thing is Marlon’s tweets to her aren’t visible, which means either Draya decided to tweet responses to him rather than DM him back or he deleted the messages he sent in the first place, and we all know deleted tweets means you were sending something you had no business tweeting in the first place. There was also another message that seemed a little shady. Draya retweeted one of Marlon’s tweets and added her own seemingly sarcastic message:

RT @MarlonYatesJr: I Love My Woman……… <<— #thingsamansays

Draya could also be shouting him out but I highly doubt she’s cool enough with the couple to be all up in Shaunie’s romantic life like that. But, like I said before, there isn’t a whole lot of meat to this story and it probably doesn’t help that Draya has a rep for being every athlete’s favorite woman. All I know is if it does come out that she’s messing with Marlon, Shaunie will probably wipe out that entire LA cast. She’s already got Laura, who supposedly crept with Shaq during their marriage, on the team, I doubt she would employ another one of her men’s mistress, unless she’s really trying to keep that pimp hand strong.

According to rumors, Swizz might be trying to get that old thing back in the form of his ex-wife, Mashonda. News that Swizz Beatz might be creeping isn’t earth-shattering, considering his past, but the fact that the side piece might be the very woman he cheated on with Alicia Keys before they married is a tad Surprising.

All Hip Hop says an insider has informed them that “although Alicia is very accommodating, Swizz is allegedly a notorious cheater and ‘just can’t help himself.’” No shock there.

But, before you go calling Mashonda a fool in love, the mother of Swizz Beatz’ son who divorced him in 2010 after overlooking numerous infidelities, including two children with other women during their marriage, might just have something up her sleeve. According to their sources, Mashonda considers this the “ultimate payback” for Alicia and Swizz dating while they were still married.

“The source tells us that in the end, Mashonda is ‘going to stick it to both of them’ and is carefully documenting every encounter with Swizz to go into her upcoming memoir/tell-all book entitled Death of a Mermaid.”

Now that ish would be cray. The tell-all industry is a hot one and the public would be all too ready to remind Alicia that how you get ‘em is how you lose ‘em. For the sake of all parties involved though, especially the children, I hope this isn’t true.

The pair hitting up the 40/40 Club re-opening.

Pictures can easily tell us things that people would rather not have us know–like if and when they’re creeping. And that’s what I’m sure a lot of people were thinking when a pic was unveiled of former 3LW singer Adrienne Bailon and rapper Fabolous (Emily Bustamante of Love & Hip Hop‘s ALWAYS discussed on and off again love) walking into the 40/40 Club in NYC together for its re-opening. It was looking pretty suspect only because the two were walking pretty close and there didn’t seem to be a big entourage around them that signaled a crew outing (date night possibly?). While that may be suspicious, what makes the prospect of an Adrienne and Fab hookup all the more suspect is the fact that Adrienne and Emily seem to be somewhat chummy. They’ve been seen taking photos together (look down), even though we’ve never really heard Emily acknowledge what those two crazy kids are. But for the most part, it seems that where Fab goes…Adrienne will be.

But in an interview with Power 105.1 personality Cherry Martinez, she said that the two are not getting it in, but are simply really good friends. Mhmmm. That’s probably what Cassie said too.

“We’re over it. We’re literally like 3 years into saying that I date Fab! Em [Emily], me and Fab … we’re over it.” She continues: “My best friend Ashley is Fab’s assistant. Like we’re literally a family, a crew, we all hang out together. And that’s totally normal guys. Like that’s normal. I actually don’t think I’ve ever hung out with Fab by myself. If ever someone can find me a picture of me and Fab alone–anywhere in life– PLEASE come forward. Come forward. Leak it to the blogs. We hang out … I’m great friends with his manager and we’re all friends.”

Once again: mhmm. Have Emily tell it on Love & Hip Hop, and it seems that Fab didn’t really want to make time to be at home with her when she wanted him there, but he sure gets snapped at all these random events with Adrienne. Not that this is an all too important life or death situation, but I’m pretty sure we were all giving her appearances around town with him the side eye after a while, because she sure spends more time with him than she does singing, acting or doing things to put her name back out there for her talents. I just wonder if I were in Emily’s shoes, if I would be so excited about someone I’m with (off and on) being seen out more with another female (who I doubt he was besties with before we got together), snapping and taking photos with her when he had me playing in the background for years–like Quasimodo–so people wouldn’t know I was his woman. But he’s grinning and cheesing with her any and everywhere? No matter what’s going on between Adrienne and Fab, that comes off a bit shady in my opinion. But hey, if Emily is cool with it and gets it, then it I guess it’s all good! That’s all that “being realistic” ish, right? (*sarcasm*)

The general consensus is that cheating is socially and morally repugnant. Yet we’d be blind to ignore it’s presence and pervasiveness in our society. So there we have it… cheating. And then there’s music. Music, auditory art that speaks to, reflects and explains the human condition. Art-music in particular- has never been known to shy away from controversial subjects no matter how uncomfortable. Naturally the issue of infidelity, cheating, sneaking, creeping and being the other woman would come up in song.
