They Like Putting A Ring On It A Bit Too Much: Celebs Who’ve Been Married Four Or More Times
Celebrity relationships, marriages, and divorces are always in the headlines. Some Hollywood couples make it until the very end, holding true to the vow “’til death do us part,” while others aren’t so fortunate and their promise of forever is cut short, sometimes very short. It’s not surprising that celebrities marry and divorce, but some of them do it more often than others — a lot more. Here are 15 celebrities who have been married four times or more.
Louis Armstrong
Standing as one of the best and most well-known and respected jazz trumpeters, Louis Armstrong also appeared to be a bit popular amongst the women of his time. Louis was married to four different women until his death, but we have to give him some credit since he was married to Lucille Wilson, his fourth and last wife, for more than 30 years. His past wives include Daisy Parker, Lil Hardin Armstrong, and Alpha Smith.
Brandy Spills Engagement Details And Wedding Plans!
Back In August when Brandy expressed that she hoped her longtime boyfriend, Ryan Press would be popping the question soon, she caught a bit of backlash. Many called her thirsty and desperate for publicly expressing that desire; others applauded her for being woman enough to boldly state what she wanted. Either way, Ryan heard his lady loud and clear because a mere four months later, he asked for the singer’s hand in marriage. During a recent stay in New York City, Brandy visited the Wendy Show where she chatted it up with Wendy about Ryan’s Christmas Day proposal and future wedding plans. Take a peek at some of what she had to say below.
On Ryan’s proposal:
“He popped the question on Christmas. My Dad had finished praying for the food and after everybody said ‘amen’ he was on one knee, asking me to marry him.”
On if she was shocked:
“We all had a feeling. We didn’t know when he was gonna do it, but we all had a feeling. He asked my parents’ permission. You know, the whole traditional thing. I did not [go diamond shopping]. He did a really good job. I told him that I liked round instead of square and he did a really good job. I’m not a big diamond girl at all, but I like this diamond.”
On her daughter Sy’rai:
“She’s the maid of honor [in the wedding]. She’s 10. She’s my best friend. I love her unconditionally. Everything that I do in my life is for her. Every decision that I make, I have her in mind. It’s just beautiful to have a bond with her and I just thought that would be a special moment for the both of us. You know, for her to share in that happiness on that special day.”
On if she’ll be doing a reality TV wedding special:
“I don’t know. I just wish I could invite a lot of my core fans to the wedding because they’ve been there for me for so long… That’s what makes me think about it that way because I’m very, very close with my fans.”
Of course, as she does with everyone, Wendy advised her not to allow reality TV cameras into her wedding, but I suppose we will all have to wait and see what she decides to do.

Officially Off The Market: Swexy “Grey’s Anatomy” Actor Jesse Williams Tied The Knot!
Dr. McDreamy, a.k.a. Patrick Dempsey isn’t the only fine actor on ABC’s hit drama “Grey’s Anatomy.” The half-Swedish, half-African American Jesse Williams who plays surgeon Jackson Avery could easily give him a run for his money, but only one of these handsome men is still on the market and it’s not the latter.
On Saturday, Jesse, 31, tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Aryn Drake-Lee, 32, in Los Angeles in a romantic evening ceremony, according to PEOPLE.
“Jesse was beaming with joy throughout the entire ceremony,” a wedding guest told the mag. “It was the perfect night with lots of smiling, laughing and emotion. You could feel the love they have for each other. They’re madly in love!”
Jesse and his real estate broker wife have been together for more than five years. They met during his pre-”Grey’s” days when Jesse was just a schoolteacher in New York, not considered one of the hottest celebrities in the biz, although I bet plenty of his middle and high school students were in love with him.
The fact that Jesse didn’t go all Hollywood and snatch up a new industry woman when he got his big break makes this union even more sweet. Congrats to the newlyweds!
