Last summer we learned that The-Dream tied the knot again with girlfriend LaLaonne Martinez. One would think that the hit-maker would be over the idea of marriage considering how many times he has been both engaged and married, but he still seems to very much believe in love. He recently shared never-before-seen photos from the day he exchanged vows with Lalaonne and they appear extremely happy.
“The End. The Beginning,” he captioned one photo. “The fight for true is hard , in order to even fight for what’s right for you,you must fight yourself and your own short comings and know exactly who you are and Love yourself fully and wholly.
You must tear down your own fears and address your own weaknesses before you can provide strength and love for you and another! You must find freedom and believe what’s great about you is a blessing and what’s not so great is needed to have an idea of humble.
Find passion for another as you seek what you don’t have, only to notice that what you don’t have in you can be found in another and Then you can be perfect, perfect for another and allow someone to be perfect for you. If I Practice loving I will eventually become Love itself.
It’s hard and it’s elusive but so is life, and when you stop loving you literally have stopped living! 4L #findyourlove This world is to crazy to live and Dir without giving life a chance to be good to you!”
This is The-Dream’s third marriage. In 2004 he married singer Nivea and tied the knot with Christina Milian in 2008. Hopefully this marriage lasts.

Stealth is important when it comes to most celeb weddings, unless you’re the #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple and you want everyone to know about your grossly overpriced wedding. But aside from Kimye, these celebrity couples have gone to great measures to keep details of their nuptials a secret, doing everything from eloping in Vegas, to hiding away in the Bahamas.
Some celebrity couples, even when they divorce after just two weeks, will try to convince us the wedding wasn’t an impulse decision. But these stars just can’t convince us of that—they got married in Las Vegas after all!
While newlyweds Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross can’t seem to find a publication willing to buy their nuptial photos, recently wed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie landed two–not one–deal for their exclusive wedding photos. Brangelina got $2 million for the wedding pics they sold to People and Hello! magazines. This comes one week following their private August 23 ceremony in France.
“Publishing insiders tell us that People and Hello! joined forces to pony up the cash for the exclusive shots of Brangelina’s union,” reports The New York Daily News.
Although the couple is usually deeply private they have in the past opened up their personal lives for magazines. They sold the first photos of daughter Shiloh to People for $4 million in 2006. The money went to charity. And in 2007, the pair had another deal with People and Hello!, selling first photos of their son Pax for an undisclosed sum. In 2008, it is rumored they received a record $14 million from People for first photos of twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon.
No word if the couple, whose combines net worth is estimated to be around $385 million, will give the $2 million to charity this time.
We’re also expecting wedding day photos of Ross and Simpson to pop up any minute now. They were unable to land a Pitt-Jolie type of exclusive for their big wedding and were hustling around on Labor Day to salvage some sort of deal.
When you compare this amount to what Kim Kardashian and Kanye West made on their wedding, it seems like Brangelinea settled too low. Kim and Kanye were estimated to have made $21 million from their May nuptials, when you tally up the more than $15 million offered by E! to tape the event along with other deals. But we’ll bet when they didn’t get paid in dollars and cents, Brad and Angie got in the intimacy they clearly crave.
Earlier today, we told you that Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade reportedly went as far as to have their wedding guests sign confidentiality agreements to keep details about the ceremony from leaking to the media. But it looks like Gabby’s bestie, Essence Atkins, never received the hush-hush memo.
Hip Hollywood recently caught up with the “Haunted House 2″ actress, who revealed that she and her husband, Jaime Mendez, will be officiating the couple’s ceremony this weekend.
“I’m not feeling a way about [Gabby not having bridesmaids] because I’m officiating the ceremony,” Essence revealed.
“My husband and I are officiating the ceremony,” she continued. “My husband did a ceremony for Alfonso Ribeiro a couple of years ago and they asked us to do it together so we are officiating.”
The wife and mother went on to say that Gabby’s ceremony will actually be her first time officiating a wedding
“This will be my first time. No pressure! No pressure whatsoever!”
While I have to admit that this news is extremely random, having your bestie officiate your wedding ceremony sounds like it has the potential to be pretty cool. I also can’t blame Gabby for wanting someone who knows her personally to officiate, considering that the reverend at her last ceremony didn’t even pronounce her name correctly.
“The pastor who married me—the first time—he didn’t even get my name right,” Gabrielle told Arsenio Hall back in February. “Yeah, no. He refused to come to the rehearsal dinner and then didn’t say my name correctly. I even pronounced my own name incorrectly so this should’ve been a sign that it wasn’t gonna work.”

If you are a celebrity it seems your life is constantly under a microscope. Some consciously enjoy telling us their business while others like to keep their private lives closer to their hearts. Sure there have been over-the-top nuptials that have made us want to gag, but there are some stars who choose to secretly exit the spotlight for a more intimate event. Here’s a look at some surprising celebrity weddings. Did you wish you could see photos — even though it’s none of our business?
Last month, we told you that Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade had quite a few rules in place for friends and relatives lucky enough to make the cut for their August 30 wedding ceremony.
“To our family and friends,
We are looking forward to sharing this very special day with you. For the comfort of our guests and to protect our privacy, no cameras or cell phones will be permitted at the party. Also, photo IDs will be required for all guests. Gentlemen, formal attire in black; ladies, we would love to see you in formal white.
Transportation to and from the party venue will be provided from the [redacted]. Buses will depart promptly at 9:45pm from the North-North entrance of the hotel; please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure to process through security. If you choose to drive yourself, please call [number omitted] hours prior to the event at [address omitted] for directions to the venue (located approximately 45 to 50 minutes south of South Beach). Once on-site, you should allow at least 30 minutes to process through security at the venue.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. See you soon!
Love, Gab and Dwyane”
Now, it appears that the bride-and-groom-to-be have taken things a step further to protect their privacy as well as the privacy of their A-list guests. According to TMZ, the pair will also be handing out confidentiality agreements, which must be signed by all relatives, friends, vendors and caterers or they will not be allowed to enter the venue. Gabby and Dwyane appear to be dead serious about the agreement too. If reports are correct, then there will be a hefty financial penalty imposed upon anyone who runs their mouths after signing the agreement.
I understand Gabrielle and Dwyane wanting to protect their privacy and not wanting their ceremony to be a media circus, but good Lord.
It’s the most important date in a person’s life. But for celebrities, their wedding day is more than just making a commitment to someone they are — or think — they’re in love with. It’s a chance to break out the finest in bridal fashion and strut their stuff. So as your Facebook becomes cluttered with summer wedding photos and engagement announcements, we decided to add to the pile with our favorite celebrity wedding looks.
Love was in the air this past weekend…as were walls of flowers. Chic, right?
We told you that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot on Saturday in Florence, Italy in a ceremony that cost a cool $2.8 million according to E! Online. And that estimation makes sense considering that around 200 guests for the wedding were flown from France to Italy on private jets, they were able to get designer Valentino Garavani to host their pre-wedding brunch, they partied at the Palace of Versailles before the wedding, had a 7-tier wedding cake, and both the bride and groom wore custom Givenchy (did we mention they had walls made out of flowers too? We did? Okay, just checking).
And you can see all the lavish-ness of the ceremony in the first photos from the wedding, which were released to E! Online. In them, the couple are snapped sharing their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. after reading their vows, and baby North is spotted in the cut looking adorable in white while being held by Kris Jenner.
And who needs a fancy schmancy luxury car with recycled cans to pull off in, when in true Kanye style, you can just customize some leather jackets to show the world that you’re “Just Married”?
Say what you want about these two, but they looked very nice on their big day, and definitely very happy. Check out all the rest of the exclusive images over at E Online of Mr. and Mrs. West, and share your thoughts.
