It hasn’t even been six months since Hollywood sweethearts Chris Brown and Rihanna officially confirmed their reunion to the world. After a tearful Rih Rih confessed that she still loved Chris and believed that he was her soulmate during an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter and Chris dropped his little homemade video about being in love with two women, romantic reconciliation between the two seemed inevitable.

After a slew of photos of Chris and Rih Rih that screamed coupledom began to surface and a series of their famous subtweets, Rihanna finally opened up about their relationship during a January interview, officially confirming their reunion.

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she said of her decision to get back with Chris.

Breezy echoed his Bajan boo-thang, confirming their reunion one month later at Elton John’s HIV foundation party following the Grammy Awards.

“We are really happy. We are back together. She is the most beautiful girl in the world,” the “Fine China” singer gushed.

Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on whether or not you’re “Team Chrianna”), round two of Chris and Rih Rih’s love affair was short-lived. In the wake of numerous break-up rumors, Chris confirmed to Australian radio show, 2Day’s that he and Rihanna are no longer an item.

“I’ve actually got three birthday parties scheduled, I got one in L.A., one in Vegas and one in New York so we can gon’ have fun, and I’m just trying to have, you know, the best time with my fans and all the people in the club,” he said of his planned birthday celebrations.

When asked if he would be celebrating with Rihanna he responded:

“Imma do it solo. I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thang, she on the road. It’s always gonna be love. I’m a grown man, just gotta fast forward.”

He went on to say that he still loves Rihanna, but being tied down to one person right now just isn’t practical.

“I’m always gonna love that person. I cant be focused on wife-ing someone that young. I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be.”

Unlike those celebrities who are allergic to being single and boo up with the first man they can find, these women seem to genuinely just want love with their true soul mates. They want the prince charming. The fairy tale. The happy ending. But sadly, they just haven’t gotten it. There’s no worse feeling than betrayal, and after discovering that her husband of nine years had been having an affair with “some sl*t in Chicago,” as she called her, for five of those said years, Garcelle had to be feeling pretty crappy. And considering that this was her second marriage (her first ended no better), I’m sure that didn’t make things any easier either.

It’s been a long road for Fantasia and her on-again-off-again boyfriend Antwaun Cook. There was the drama with Antwaun’s estranged wife who tried to sue the “Lose to Win” singer in relation to the extra marital relationship that she had with Antwaun. Then, there were those circulating rumors that Cook turned around and cheated on Tasia with Kendra James of Bad Girls Club. Not to mention the public disputes that she’s gotten into with his family since the birth of their son, Dallas. These days Fanny seems to be steering clear of the drama that appears to come along with being emotionally involved with Antwaun. In an interview that appears in the April issue of Sister 2 Sister, the mother of two opened up about the current status of her relationship with Cook and what they’ve both learned from their mistakes.

On her split from Antwaun:

“Me and Antwaun, as of now, we are not together. I think it’s the best thing for us all. We had to learn how to become friends again. There was so much stuff that came out. We were all hurt along the way. There’s trust issues. There’s just a lot of stuff that kinda got put in the mix. And I, at one point, I wanted to make everybody else happy. To love him, to make sure Zion was okay, to make sure everything—but I had to get to a place where I had to learn how to love Fantasia. I never did that, Jamie. And if I don’t love myself, then I can’t be in a relationship.”

“He’ll say, ‘I learned that you can’t play with people’s hearts.’ I think every man gets to a place of knowing that they wanna be faithful and they wanna be good fathers and good husbands and good boyfriends… Things play out for you to say, okay, it’s time for me to man up or it’s time for me to woman up. I think we both have a lot of regrets of how things just happened; it all happened so fast. I just went full-speed ahead and that’s why I was tellin’ you now. I think out everything before I do it. Everything.”

Fanny appears to be making strides in a positive direction. We’re definitely rooting for her and hope that she continues down this path.

Back in January during a Knicks vs. Celtics game, things got a bit heated between Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett after Anthony fouled Garnett. The tension was said to have gotten even worse once the game ended, as Melo, still upset over whatever comments Garnett made to him on the court, attempted to confront his Celtics opponent, which got him suspended. Carmelo’s reaction to Garnett caused many to wonder what Kevin had actually said to him, and somehow it got out that Kevin told Carmelo that his wife Lala “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.” As a result of the drama, speculations regarding a possible divorce between Lala and Melo began to circulate. In a recent interview with Ear Candy on Demand, the reality star finally addressed the controversy. Here’s some of what she had to say.

On Kevin Garnett telling Melo she tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios:

“I was the one thrown in the middle of everything, just because… I had to be able to laugh about it because that was a little crazy. Someone says ‘Your wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios’ and everyone believing that and running with it. That’s not what was said. Kevin Garnett did not say that about me.  He just said some things to my husband that he didn’t like, that he felt like one man doesn’t say to another. They’re perfectly fine now. It happens in the heat of battle. People don’t know what goes on on that court. Garnett’s known for [trash talking]. So it got under my husband’s skin and things happen but it wasn’t about me.”

On finding humor in the controversy: 

“To be in the middle of that whole entire thing you had to laugh. If you don’t laugh that stuff will start messing with your head and making you feel upset and down so I laugh about it. I have great friends and family who are sending me pictures on Honey Nut Cheerios boxes, and we’re making jokes about it. I mean, you gotta laugh at stuff… I’m like hey, he could have said a lot worse things and people could’ve made up a lot worse things.”

On divorce rumors:

“We’ve been together for 10 years and I always say if people tell you their marriage is perfect they’re lying. We’ve been together for ten years.  We go through ups we go through downs just like everyone else. But we’re doing great and we’re raising an amazing son Kiyan whose about to turn 6 in like a week. He’s so sweet and such a good kid. So definitely we’re working through it and things are good.”

We’re glad to hear that all is well in the Anthony household.

The guys over at TMZ caught up with “Let Me Love You” singer Ne-Yo, just as he was leaving the Supperclub in Los Angeles. In total TMZ fashion, they randomly asked him if he’d ever been married before, as he made his way to his car. The Grammy Award-winning recording artist shockingly replied “yeah.” Ne-Yo revealed that he had actually gotten married about eleven years ago when he was nineteen years old. Obviously, the marriage didn’t make it. He shared that after less than a year, the marriage was annulled because he wanted to follow his dreams as a musical artist and his ex-wife didn’t approve.

“Yeah, when I was like nineteen. Yeah, it wasn’t even for like a year so we got an annulment.”

Shocked by his response, the cameraman continued to probe, asking Ne-Yo if he was actually married.

“Yeah, I was married. I was nineteen years old, yup.”

When asked why he never revealed that he’d been married before, he responded:

“Nobody ever really asked.You’re honestly the first person to ever ask.”

“I wanted to do this [music] and she didn’t want me to do this. This is honestly the only thing I’ve ever loved, so I chose this over her. Now I’m here and I don’t know where she is. Soooo nananana!” he joked.

Although things didn’t work out with Ne-Yo’s ex-wife, he appears to have found love in actress, fiancé and mother of his children, Monyetta Shaw, whom he revealed he’d met at a Jamie Foxx concert in a November 2012 interview with Mirror.co.uk. Although Ne-Yo and Monyetta are engaged, he says they won’t be jumping the broom until they have time to enjoy it.

“I’m not considering that until we have time to enjoy it. There’s nothing worse than saying, ‘I do’ and then rushing off on tour for four months,” he told the publication.

Since November of 2011, E! News host, Terrence J and supermodel Selita Ebanks appeared to be a match made in Hollywood heaven, with their million dollar smiles and über sucessful careers. Unfortunately, it seems that those same demanding careers may have contributed to the couple’s demise, according to Page Six.

A source close to Ebanks revealed that the couple could no longer endure the strain that their busy schedules  placed on the relationship and decided to split over what they called “scheduling conflicts.”

“Selita is just so busy,” the insider revealed.

In addition to her already demanding career, the model is also said to be in the process of working on a television pilot and releasing a single. I think it’s safe to assume that Selita is working on some type of reality show, but as for that single? Not so sure what that will entail.

Over the weekend, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was spotted partying it up, celebrating her 30th birthday, as television cameras followed her around. Terrence was nowhere in sight.

 “Selita was dancing on the banquette at her table and garnering glances from many in the room,” a partygoer revealed.

We also hear that during the course of her two-day birthday celebration, she was in the company of quite a few male admirers. Loverboy Trey Songz is said to have serenaded the supermodel over her birthday cake during a party at Bagatelle on Saturday. It seems that Selita has wasted no time taking advantage of her singleness, as Page Six also reports that there was plenty of flirting going on during her birthday dinner with attendee, David Spade.

We really liked Selita and Terrence as a couple, but we understand that they had to do what was best for them. Sometimes a choice really does have to be made between love and career.

Producer, Jermaine Dupri recently hit up the Power 105.1 studios for an interview with the hosts of The Breakfast Club. During his interview, JD promoted his upcoming So So Def Reunion tour, addressed how he feels about Kandi Burruss refusing to participate in the tour and responded to some antique rumors regarding his love life, including that back-fence talk about him cheating on Janet Jackson.

On Bow Wow going in on Kandi about the reunion and Xscape beef: 

“Bow Wow is like a So So Def rider, he’s like my son, so he’s gonna say something the second someone says something about me. It’s 15 artists performing though, we ain’t gonna let one person stop that show”.

“The way I designed Xscape, Kandi sang all the leads on the records. When you got three other people that want to sing, and you keep giving this one person all the leads… If the designer of the music was making a person sing, that makes those other three singers like ‘Yo, when we gonna get leads?’ When we got to ‘Who Can I Run To?’ I started making sure Tiny was singing the leads and Kandi was like in the back. When Kandi started falling to the back, the problems even got worse.”

On whether or not he dated Kandi Burruss:

“I would never date her. I never said nothing about dating her… I mean she’s a reality star now, so you gotta watch out.”

On his Janet Jackson tattoo:

“Janet’s a part of my life that means a lot. I’m tattoo’ed up by the way, not to mention every part of me is tattoo’ed. Before I had the [Janet] tattoo, my mother said ‘Why you got all these white people on you that you don’t know?’  That’s a crazy question if somebody ask you that. I got Al Capone, I got Scarface, I got all these people on me… It just hit me one day, I date somebody that’s famous, let me make a tattoo.”

On rumors that he cheated on Janet:

“Oh, yeah? So what, that’s what you heard? People just make up anything, right? It sounds good. We was together nine years, that’s a long time. That’s like marriage. I’m a young dude, I’m gonna leave it at that. You know what I mean? I’m a young dude in the entertainment business.My life is crazy sometimes.”

Rihanna speaking directly about her relationship with Chris Brown has been somewhat of a rare occurrence since she appeared on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” and confessed that she was still in love with him and believed that he was the love of her life. Since then, we’ve mostly had the privilege of gawking upon candid photos, dissecting ambiguous tweets and drawing our own conclusions. Rih Rih, who is the cover girl for the most recent issue of Rolling Stone, is said to have “opened up like never before” to the legendary publication regarding her relationship with Chris Brown and the toll it has taken on her image.

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” the Bajan beauty expressed to Rolling Stone contributing editor Josh Eells.

She went on to reveal that masking her true feelings about Brown made her angry and tormented her for years.

“I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

The “Unapologetic” singer also implied that people could never know the true extent and beauty of the love she shares with Chris from simply gazing in from the outside.

“When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world. You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about sh**. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.”

Not to worry though, she made it very clear that she will not tolerate abuse and if Chris even displays a hint of violent behavior towards her, she’s hitting the road.

“He doesn’t have the luxury of f***ing up again. That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility,” she boldly stated.

“He made a mistake, and he’s paid his dues. He’s paid so much. And I know that’s not a place he would ever want to go back to. And sometimes people need support and encouragement, instead of ridicule and criticism and bashing.”

Despite the wide disapproval of Chris and Rihanna’s reconciliation, she does appear to have really thought this thing through before jumping into it. Perhaps we all need to take a step back and allow these two to lead their own lives and make their own mistakes.

The relationship between Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson and Chelsea Handler has been over for quite some time. Yet, people are still somewhat intrigued by it. It could be the odd couple-ish nature of their relationship or even the rumors surrounding what actually caused their break-up. Whatever the case, even with all of the time that has passed since the two went their separate ways, the media is still questioning them about the fling and break-up.

50 Cent recently paid shock jock, Howard Stern a visit. During the interview, 50 confirmed that his split from Handler had everything to do with his former flame, Ciara. The way 50 tells the story, Cici was upset to learn that he was dating Chelsea and made somewhat of a fuss about it prior to her appearance on Chelsea Lately.  50 expressed to Stern that he attempted to warn Chelsea ahead of time of possible tension. This infuriated Handler.

“Wouldn’t you want to tell someone that? How do you treat that if you had something from your past?” 50 expressed to Stern.

January of last year, Chelsea first spilled the beans to Stern regarding the love triangle.

“It was so dumb. it’s almost embarrassing. I really can’t remember the exact the details, but I’ll tell you what I can remember. I think one of his ex-girlfriends was coming on my show and she’s one of those singers -I can’t remember her name. She’s really hot. He was dating her I guess previous to me.

Right before Anguilla, Ciara–that’s her name!–was coming on the show, and he called me to tell me something about her like she still calls him all the time, and she still tells him that she loves him or something. And I’m at my job, and I go “Curtis, honestly this is like eighth grade Shyte. Why are you telling me this?  This girl is coming on the show tomorrow, and now I have to look at her and think you guys have some weird thing going on or had going on.”  It was so juvenile. I’m at my work and I work my A$$ off all the time, and I have million different things and even though it’s not like important work, I am working hard. I’m doing Shyte. He said, “I want you to hear this conversation” and he was like calling someone like a 3-way phone call. I go, “So you’re telling me this girl wants to get back together with you, but she’s upset that you’re dating me, is that what you’re saying?” He’s like, “Yeah, so I just want you to know when she comes.”

Isn’t it funny how things work out? These two are still blaming Ciara for their break-up, meanwhile Cici appears to be happily in love with someone new.

Considering all of the drama that has been surrounding reality television star Lala Vasquez-Anthony and her NBA playing hubby Carmelo Anthony, I was pleasantly surprised to see her joking around and making light of it all in my Twitter timeline yesterday. If you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of days, things got a bit heated between Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett during the recent Knicks vs Celtics game after Garnett allegedly told Melo that his wife “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios”. Since then, countless rumors swirled surrounding the current status of Lala and Carmelo’s relationship. Some even suggested that the two were headed for divorce.

While these rumors have yet to be confirmed or denied, one thing we know for sure that the NBA wasn’t too happy with the way that Melo responded to K.G.’s antagonistic behavior. According to ESPN, the 28-year-old small forward has been suspended without pay for one game as a direct result of him confronting K.G. after the game near the team’s locker room.

“There are no circumstances in which it is acceptable for a player to confront an opponent after a game,” NBA executive vice president basketball operations Stu Jackson said in a statement. “Carmelo Anthony attempted to engage with Kevin Garnett multiple times after Monday’s game and therefore a suspension was warranted.”

While there seems to be some semi-serious consequences to Melo’s actions, Lala is taking it all in stride, refusing to allow the current circumstances to bring her down.

“Not for nothing,but we ALL deserve a check or some free cereal 4all the publicity we’ve given Honey Nut Cheerios! LOL #cantbelieveeverything,” the reality star tweeted last night right after she expressed her excitement about co-hosting the Hip Hop Inaugural Ball with Terrence J.

Most people didn’t believe Kevin really said that she tasted like Cheerios, but it was pretty funny. While the rumors that are currently circulating about her and Melo seem pretty damaging, we’re glad to see that she isn’t allowing any of it to get her down.
