WHAT’S BEEF?: R&B Singers Who Were Ready For War!
You know what’s cornier than hip-hop beef? R&B beef. I don’t think there’s anything cornier than when singers are beefing about something dumb like who has the better love song or who has the better falsetto. Some say women are catty but I’ll have you know that almost every case of R&B “beef” over the last few years have been between men. Take a look…
A Ratchet Family Affair: Brian McKnight’s Got His Kids Rapping About Adult Videos Now
Brian McKnight needs to be stripped of any award, accolade, Hollywood star, certificate of recognition, perfect attendance star, and any other honor he’s been given ever in life because this man just doesn’t know when to quit. It’s one thing if he wants to hammer the final nail into the coffin of his dying career after decades in the biz, but he’s not even giving his kids a running chance because this man has thrown his two young boys on his adult pornography track.
Leave it to TMZ to blow the lid on this ratchet family affair, because just when you thought Brian McKnight’s career couldn’t become any more of a joke, we find out this man let his 19- and 22-year-old sons rap on his track about amateur Adult Videos and anal sex. First off, it’s weird; Second, it’s ratchet; Third, I hope Brian McKnight, Jr., and Niko didn’t have hopes of a real career in the industry because pops just blew that for them.
Brian McKnight had sense enough not to show his face in the NSFW video below but he failed to tell his boys being surrounding by a bunch of white chicks in bikinis while rapping about giving them rug burns while having sex on the carpet was not a good look. Although in all fairness if they weren’t singing about Youporn.com, this really would be just another regular rap video.
Either way, Brian is still in the running for worst dad of the year. I really hope this is just a mid-life crisis phase he’s going through, although unfortunately his sons still don’t have a chance. Check out the ratchetnedness and see for yourself.

Stephanie Mills Talks New Music and Why She Won’t Be Going The Brian McKnight-Erykah Badu Route
Stephanie Mills’ knack for hitting both the theater stage and the recording booth made her one of the most respected vocalists in R&B music. And while you may not be able to catch the pint-sized diva appearing on any of your favorite reality television shows in the near future, she has her eyes set on the coming months with a new album, various shows and a forthcoming children’s book, titled “Little Joseph.”
During an exclusive, candid interview with The Huffington Post, the Brooklyn-bred Grammy Award-winner opened up on an array of topics, including her thoughts on veteran artists starving for attention, recording a tribute album, and the idea of forming a super group with other sisters with voices.
Check out what Stephanie had to say about veteran artists appearing starved for attention on BlackVoices.com.

Have a Seat: Brian McKnight and Chris Brown Have Beef…Via Twitter of Course

Source: wadeblogz.com
Another week, another Twitter beef between Chris Brown and someone else in Hollywood. But this time, we can’t really fault him, because Brian McKnight is out here throwing shade for no reason. And as they say, don’t start none, won’t be none.
Much to his chagrin, once again, his foray into adult R&B music (with the release of his “Anal” track) isn’t being accepted with open arms and excitement. While the “Anytime” singer was probably hoping he would get some attention that would probably bring him back to the top, instead, folks have thrown out the scary I-word: “irrelevant.” So in response to the criticism, McKnight went in on a slew of famous black men with less than stellar reputations who still found a way to make big money and who he seems to think don’t receive enough criticism: R.Kelly, Floyd Mayweather, and of course, Breezy. It all allegedly started when a fan told him to go back to making quality music since his true fans weren’t going anywhere. In response, via Twitter, he said, “Really then why are record sales for everyone so low, why weren’t you on my timeline until now. Integrity won’t pay the mortgages, I will ask all of you how many of you would do your job for no pay?”
When that response wasn’t enough, he decided to go in on other folks and have a real conversation about what is and what isn’t “acceptable” since his new music doesn’t seem to be. See below:

Chris, who was touched upon in the Lambo a** whoopin’ comment, being young and crunk as always, decided to let him know what everyone was thinking: using other people’s names to get publicity is a big no, no. Especially when you’re a person who has allegedly had your own share of domestic violence issues…
“I see how this works now … When peoples’ careers get to the ‘nobody cares’ stage, they use my name for publicity! I can’t keep helping these old n*****. It’s a miracle the way I’m bringing the dead alive! I would’ve gladly wrote you something that would make u look less irrelevant! Listening to “let me show u how ur P works”!!!! THAT S— IS TRASH! If u need help just ask!”
Ouch.
Brian, Brian, Brian. I understand that the industry is changing and that frustrates you, but if you don’t sit down and get your life together and stop selling every bit of your self-respect to get attention, you will not only be just irrelevant, but you’ll go down as the bitter, irrelevant dude who sang the p***y song too. What type of legacy is that? Go back to the drawing board and come back to do quality music when you’ve got your mind right. Until then, there’s a seat in the corner for you. Take it.
Does Brian have a point, or should he just stop?

Brian McKnight has embarrassed himself beyond redemption. It was bad enough he “played around” with that song about showing us how our p*ssies work and then he took it to the next level of shame when he made a stupid video to go with it. But now he’s managed to one-up himself yet again with a new jingle about anal. Yes, anal.
According to TMZ, this track is a thank you to Youporn.com for apparently bringing Brian lots of cash by pushing sales of his p*ssy song. To return the favor, he’s telling people to head over to the site if they want to see some butt pumping. Just the thought of this is bad enough, but the sad lyrics leave you with no choice but to shake your head. Through beeped out words and bad singing, this is one clear line that can be made out in the clip of the track:
“You wanna see some f***ing anal, I can get you close enough to smell.”
There are too many things wrong with that to dissect so just listen to a snippet of the song here as we mourn the artist formerly known as Brian McKnight. The ceremony for his singing career, which is now officially dead, begins at noon. RIP.

Celebs We’d Prefer to ‘Keep Up” With: 7 Stars Who Need Their Own Reality Shows
You can turn on the dial and there’s no shortage of reality T.V. shows. There’s always some celebrity (or person who knows a celebrity) willing to get in front of the cameras and offer up their lives as entertainment. The following celebrities will probably never sign on the dotted line to have a film crew keep up with them, but it would definitely make for must see TV for us nosey folks if they did.
Prince
The Purple One serves face like no other. He could give visuals for an hour and then some. A look is worth a thousand words and Prince could give us all something to talk about in the morning. He’s been a bit of a recluse for the past few years, and we all know he’s toned down his image big time over the years. But a glimpse into his world, how he makes his music, and what his love life is like these days would more than satisfy our curiosities.
Just When You Thought It Couldn’t Get Any Worse: Brian McKnight Releases Video for P***y Song

Source: themagicwhistle.blogspot.com
Most of us can agree that Brian McKnight’s “If You’re Ready to Learn” song was… something of a fail. And the singer has heard our opinions, on Twitter, in blog posts and even reaction videos. But clearly, McKnight is not ready to put the incident behind him. Instead he recently released a video, with the help of Funny or Die, for the infamous song. Ok, so it was a parody…and just like the song, the visuals take things a lot too far. Even if the video is a spoof at the ridiculousness of this song, we know it’s really just another way to keep people talking about that song and more importantly Brian McKnight. Well, since he’s gone this far, and not releasing any other types of music, then he might as well milk this attention cow for all it’s worth. We’ve talked more about Brian McKnight these past few weeks than we have in the past few years and I’m sure that’s just the way he likes it.
Well played Brian, well played.
Check out the video and be ready to cover your mouth in horror. Keep an eye out for the vadge puppet… No, we’re not kidding. There are pubes and everything.

brian mcknight, female anatomy, funny or die, if you're ready to learn, Parody, r&b, sex, squirt, vaginaDid Tank Just Pull A Brian McKnight?
So last week, singer Tank completely clowned Brian McKnight for his musical request to let women allow him to show them how their p*ssy works. Specifically, he said:
“First of all, he’s got a Mohawk. Let’s start there. He’s 57 years old with a Mohawk. I don’t condone anybody over seven at this point with a Mohawk. The Mohawks have now become cute. And then, I don’t condone the switch between Harvard and then a a bad version of a hood singer.”
But low and behold, five days later, Tank shows up on the scene selling his package through the Internet in a random twitpic/instagram/NSFW body-baring photo showing us all that he has to offer. And though part of me wants to say Thank ya Jesus, the other half is like wait, did you just pull a Brian McKnight? (sans vocals)
While Tank was trying to clown Brian for being 57 years old and desperate—when he’s really only 42—he’s not too far behind him pulling this stunt at 36. Blame Eddie Long for my aversion to men taking pics of themselves in the mirror scantily clad with iPhones and then posting them for the world to see, but this just rubs me the wrong way. Had it been a photo shoot, he’d have my approval 99 percent but you can’t knock another R&B singer in your same lane for a desperate attempt to boost female fans and then do the same thing—at nearly the same age.
I suppose since Tank already has some hood appeal he thinks he gets a pass for this antic but I’m thinking pass DENIED. Am I alone or is Tank foul for this?

Tank Clowns Brian McKnight’s ‘New Sound’
I think we all gave Brian McKnight the side-eye for his attempt at showing us how our p***y works (watch the video if you need a good laugh this morning), but Tank straight clowned the R&B singer during an appearance on Chicago’s The Morning Riot. When the hosts asked him what he thought about Brian’s latest musical attempt, Tank couldn’t even get past his hair.
“First of all, he’s got a Mohawk. Let’s start there. He’s 57 years old with a Mohawk. I don’t condone anybody over seven at this point with a Mohawk. The Mohawks have now become cute. [Background: It's for Willow Smith] And then, I don’t condone the switch between Harvard and then a a bad version of a hood singer.”
Tank then went on to mimic Brian’s “soft” voice and then they remixed the song all at 57-year-old, mohawk-wearing Brian McKnight’s expense for the next four minutes. Had Brian not clowned himself so bad with the song I think we’d just assume Tank was hating but this segment was great.
Check out the clip below and tell us what you think. Is Tank right?
