Michael Ealy Thanks Black Women for Their Support
Michael Ealy didn’t have to give us another reason to love him but we like that he did anyway. In a recent interview at the premiere of his new film “Underworld,” Michael took a second to thank the “beautiful black women” who have supported him during his career and he also talked about how he feels about being labeled a sex symbol.
Check out highlights of his interview:
On his role in “For Colored Girls”
“I genuinely love all the beautiful Black women that came up to me and wanted to hug me after that performance. It wasn’t an easy one, and I was worried that people would look at me differently after that so the amount of support I got was tremendous.”
On Being a Sex Symbol
“If someone wants to put that title on me, God bless them. I don’t carry myself as such, and I will never, ever think of myself as such. For me, the most important thing when I came into this business is to show some sort of talent so I can have longevity and not be another pretty face.
“I’ll take the sex appeal label. I’ll take that label any day of the week. It’s better than not being that guy, so I’ll take it.”
The Best Way to His Heart
“Compassion and consideration for others. There’s nothing worse than a selfish woman. Selfish and self-absorbed? Walk away. I can’t deal with you.”
What He Likes Physically
“I like long legs.”
Check out the rest of the interview here.
Did you look at Michael Ealy differently after his role in “For Colored Girls?”

Is Dwayne Wade Doing Gabrielle Union Dirty?
Men really should think twice before they cross a woman, because a scorned ex will always come back to air a man’s dirty laundry.
A “source,” who says she’s known Dwayne Wade for years (and also slept with him), spoke to Bossip recently and supposedly exposed how the Miami Heat baller juggles his time between Gabrielle Union and Lauren London—who rumors have been circulating around for months. She says:
He cheats on Gabrielle Union all the time. I’ve known Dwyane a long time. Let me explain how long… I used to pay him visits when he used to reside at the Setai. That was one of his many residences in Miami. That was his chill spot back in the days when he was married. Gabrielle was also a frequent visitor, as well Lauryn London. They were on an in and out basis, he had them **** in rotation.
Lord. And just how did he manage to flawlessly have these women coming in and out?
Sharif, Dwyane’s assistant would front and say he dated Lauren, yet everyone knew damn well he could not pull a girl like Lauren. Anyways Dwayne and Marcus his boy from when he was younger would have all types of ******* in their low key, apt.
Sigh. I know most of you are thinking Gabby is getting what she deserved, considering she got with D Wade when he was still married, but dang. The two are seen everywhere together, and if this pans out to be embarrassingly true, I’m not sure she’ll get any sympathy at all.
On the other hand, though, this is a woman who says she used to mess with Wade. Who’s to say she’s not just starting drama because he gave her the axe?
What do you think of this source? Is she telling the truth or just getting revenge (or both)? Both seems likely.

Does Gossip Have a Skin Color?
(Newsweek.com) — While Sandra Bullock’s post-Oscar split from husband Jesse James may be the biggest celebrity news in the last month (or two), it’s probably not surprising it’s the adopted brown baby that really got the African-American blog sites going. The funny thing is, black Web sites such as MediaTakeOut.com, Bossip, and Young, Black and Fabulous have been following Bullock for years. Part of the reason is her connection to the black community. “They know about her support for victims of Katrina and Haiti so they care about what happens to her, which we thought about when we gave her coverage,” says Fred Mwangaguhunga, owner of the black entertainment site MediaTakeOut.com. But part of it is that black blogs look at the world differently than the often segregated mainstream. (How many black faces did you see on this year’s Vanity Fair Oscar issue?) “Sandra Bullock’s story about her marriage got a lot of pickup from our readers,” said Mwangaguhunga, whose site gets 700,000 hits per day and nearly 6 million views per month. “Her story of martial betrayal hit a nerve with our female readers for sure. It wasn’t a race thing because everyone can relate to that type of betrayal.”
