Ever borrowed a shirt from a friend? What about a skirt? A clutch? All perfectly normal things that girlfriends sometimes share. Well, actress Maggie Gyllenhaal likes to share too, but she likes to share her sex toys. Yep. You read that right. Maggie Gyllenhaal “lends” her friends vibrators. You see, Maggie has a movie called Hysteria that chronicles the advent of the vibrator (an 1800′s invention, might I add) and during filming, several retailers sent her vibrators.

Not one to be selfish, Mags decided to share the wealth. Here’s what she had to say:

By the time I finished the movie I’d been sent maybe 15 vibrators by different people in London with vibrator stores. It was a pleasant surprise. So I have this incredible collection, and I actually use like one or two of them. I lend them to my friends, and they’ll take them for six months at a time.

Say huh, say what? We totally understand GIVING your girls your extra, unused toys, but lending? Nah. Let’s not do that. Ever.

Have you ever had that friend? Not the one who tells you like it is but the one who’s only happy so long as she is the one. You know the one to get a great promotion; the first to purchase a home; the first to get married and so on. Mostly interested in admiration from others and being delighted in themselves, seldom are they prepared to bask in the glory of someone else. Their selfishness won’t allow them to praise you for doing better. Instead, she grinds her teeth into a constipated smile while mentally rolling her eyes.

You deserve to pat yourself on the back and celebrate successes, and your girlfriends should be on the sidelines cheering every step of the way. Anyone who can’t corroborate with the group should have their membership in your circle reconsidered. Jealousy is a poison you can do better without.

Apparently, for most men it’s common knowledge that if the urinals lack a divider when using a public restroom, you MUST use every other urinal, because peeing directly next to another men is punishable by side-eye and sudden death.  And you can just about abandon the hope of ever getting an honest answer out of your boyfriend’s best friend when you interrogate him about your MIA man. The reason is because guys all have a set of rules and regulations that they instinctively share when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex, friendship and relationships, and you better believe that the rules are as random as they are many.
