When we put out the call for black couples to submit their engagement stories, we were afraid we’d have to search high and low to get sisters to participate…but the happy tales literally poured in! As you are aware, the internet has no problem grabbing hold of stories about the ‘Black marriage crisis’ and statistics regarding Black women’s marital statuses. However, what most of you probably don’t know is that there are a number of happily wedded sisters (and brothers!) who are documenting their married lives through the blogosphere. If you’re feeling down on love, perhaps these lovebirds can provide a little inspiration:
