President Asks Betty White to Produce Her Birth Certificate
If the President is lacking anything, it’s not a sense of humor. Yesterday, veteran actress Betty White celebrated her 90th birthday and President Obama took time to send her a birthday card (in a pre-recorded tape.) He had plenty of well wishes for the woman even though he doubted her actual age and asked for proof.
Pretty cute!

Bow Wow’s Name Left Off of Daughter’s Birth Certificate
Celebrity baby mother and father drama is back and in full effect ya’ll.
Just last week, rapper Bow Wow came forward to reveal to his fans that the rumors and his mom’s tweets are true: he has a nearly three-month-old daughter with video model Joie Chavis. While there was speculation for a while that he and Chavis had a child, the rapper finally broke the news on his website, BowWow Today, gushing about daughter Shai Moss and explaining why he kept her under wraps:
My lil girl is getting BIG fast. i love every minute of it. She inspires me to go harder. Even made me treat my mother better, its like it made me into a man over night. Never been a fan of posting pix of my daughter. Reason is because i want my boo boo to have everything i didnt.
But more details are coming to light about the birth of Shai, including the fact that Chavis left Bow Wow’s name off of the child’s birth certificate because she was upset about his late arrival to the hospital. According to TMZ, Chavis says that Bow Wow didn’t appear at the hospital until six days after her birth (done by emergency C-section by the way) when he came to take the two home. In what seemed to be an act done out of anger, Chavis left Bow Wow’s name off of the birth certificate. She told TMZ that she’s willing to move forward and have his name put on the certificate, since he’s shown himself to be 100 percent committed to his daughter. However, that’s going to be a bit more difficult than she thinks. Guess these two will have to meet up in court and let a judge fix this mess. Black Thinkers Irritated by Birtherism
(AP) — Shortly after President Barack Obama declared himself an American-born citizen with papers to prove it, Baratunde Thurston declared himself a disgusted black man. ”I find it hard to summarize in mere words the amount of pain and rage this incident has caused,” Thurston said. ”This” would be the nation’s first black president standing in the White House, blue power suit and all, going on TV to debunk, in more detail than before, the persistent, he-ain’t-really-an-American rumors fanned anew by Donald Trump, the developer and might-be presidential candidate. Many African-Americans responded to Wednesday’s scene with a large sigh. The rumors and the controversy had a particular, troubling resonance for them: They’ve seen, heard, lived, the legitimacy of black people being called into question so many times before that, they said, they weren’t shocked to see it happen to Obama over something as simple as a birth certificate. But they were sad about it, too, seeing what they felt was a high-level manifestation of the idea that when a black person accomplishes something great there must be something wrong.
Birth Certificate or Not, It Will Never Be Enough

I was both shocked and dismayed to see that President Obama made any effort whatsoever to reveal his birth certificate. Mind you, another birth certificate, just as authentic and legal as the short form seen heretofore by everyone. It’s disappointing in an innumerable ways.
Some say this finally puts to rest any question of his natural born citizenship status. Others might argue (as has the president) that this removes unnecessary distractions, which have prevented America from concentrating on the more important issues.
The reality is that neither is true.
It doesn’t matter President Obama revealed “another” birth certificate, because the non believers and disbelievers were never in any way concerned about facts or truth. If they were, the State of Hawaii would have been enough to put their hearts at ease long ago.
Although Arizona Senator John McCain was born on a 10-mile stretch of U.S. property in Central America, there was never doubt from Birthers of the legitimacy of his citizenship or the authenticity of his birth certificate after the fact. They were more comfortable believing that the man born down in the Central American region was more “American” than the man born in Hawaii…meaning, in America.
This was never about any birth certificate. In fact, the conversation has already turned to whether President Obama was worthy of receiving an Ivy League education, despite the fact that we already know George W. Bush was not.
There was never any legitimate question as to President Obama’s citizenship status and this latest revelation will do nothing to dissuade this “element” in America from seeking other weapons of mass distraction in which to busy themselves and our president.
Even as we speak, the Birther movement has already questioned the authenticity and timing of the document’s release.
It will never, ever be good enough.
President Obama must stop pacifying and elevating ignorance. He should know better by now and not have fallen for the okie doke…again.
This is about obstruction, and the continuing effort to de-legitimize his administration. Doing so legitimizes the previous disrespect of the office, the inexcusable racist rhetoric and vitriol. We should be smart enough to recognize the various iterations of this insanity over the past 4 years. I would rather the President call it for what it is, really chastise and check America for her indefensible behavior. He should get something out of this too, not just the people who still think the world is flat and or that Jim Crow is still in effect.
Hawaii Lawmakers Pass Bill To Limit Obama Birth Certificate Requests
(HuffingtonPost.com) – — Hawaii legislators have passed a measure allowing a state agency to ignore repeated requests from a person or organization for President Barack Obama’s birth certificate.
The measure approved Tuesday by the state Legislature would carve an exemption in the state’s public records law and allow officials to ignore all kinds of duplicative requests, including those for Obama’s birth certificate.
