Sean “P. Diddy” Combs
Diddy has called himself many names over the years, but each version of himself has always been proud to hype up the time he spent at the famed HBCU. He was majoring in Business when he dropped out in 1989, but has given back to the school in various ways. He was part of the Howard Homecoming in 1995 alongside the Notorious B.I.G., he keeps close ties with current students and even offered support as students protested over housing and financial aid packages in 2009.

We’ve been watching Tempestt Bledsoe since her days on the legendary “Cosby Show.” But now, as a grown woman she’s onto a new project, a new show depicting a positive black family. We had the opportunity to speak with Tempestt about her new show “Guys with Kids,” her thoughts on men who make less than their women and that luscious mane of hers.

NBC is branching out and reaching to touch more with multi ethnic stories.

Next on the network’s line up of black programming is “Guys with Kids,” starring Tempestt Bledsoe and Anthony Anderson.

The co-stars told the Associated Press that they are going to be representing positive images of black families.

“We just don’t have that right now, not on network television,” said Anderson, who has two children of his own. “Like the Cosby Show, this will be an opportunity to see the love, support, humor and beauty of a black family on TV.”

Produced by Jimmy Fallon, the show is about three dads trying to hold onto their youth as they experience their 30s.
