During all of the incidents involving Katt Williams, it seems not many have been concerned with the welfare of his children.  We thought perhaps people forgot they existed. Well as it turns out, child services hasn’t forgotten at all.

According to TMZ, Katt was arrested Friday morning after the L.A. County Dept. of Family and Child Services decided that there were numerous guns and illegal drugs in the home that deemed it hazardous to his children.  While the list was not readily available, a police source stated there were various items seized during the arrest.

As of Friday night, Katt was still being held on $100,000 bail while his children have been placed in protective custody.  As most already know, Katt is the father of eight children and this affects four of them that apparently still live in the California home. There’s been no word if they are in the care of their mothers or other family members.

The district attorney will make the decision as to whether or not charges will be filed for felony child endangerment.

Honestly, this is sadder than all the other trouble he’s gotten into over the past few months.  While Katt clearly has issues, he’s been the sole provider for many years for his children and this spiral puts their well-being in danger.  If more serious charges are filed, the family could be broken up into a system that chews children up and spits them out.

Perhaps this will wake Katt up because quite frankly, Suge Knight can’t save him now.
