MadameNoire is a sophisticatedly witty and opinionated lifestyle publication for the black woman who is okay with the fact that she enjoys guilty pleasures like reality TV as much as rallying against injustices in the African American community. We keep readers up on of the latest happenings in black entertainment and news, and dish out advice and commentary on various issues from relationships to politics and style and business trends like only a best friend and nosy auntie could.
We’re not afraid to say what everyone else is thinking when it comes to the black female experience and provide a space for women of equal mind to relay their experiences and engage in critical discourse on issues that matter most to us — and call one another out every now and again. We believe there’s no such thing as an “overly educated black woman,” but when society unleashes one of its routine attacks on women of color, we’ll be quick to remind black women of all they’ve got going on.
