Either Matt Barnes is trying to repair his increasingly deteriorating reputation, or Gloria Govan is a total phony. The ex-fiancé of the “Basketball Wives LA” cast member says Gloria cheated on him with a friend of his, and when he was ready to walk, she begged him to stick around during filming of the show to make her look good for the cameras.
“In May, Gloria and I decided to separate and in the best interest of her career, I foolishly agreed to portray that we were still together for the upcoming season off her show on VH1,” he said in a statement. “As recently as August we decided to revisit a joint statement of our separation, but Gloria asked to delay making our separation public for the interest of her show.”
While this could just be an attempt by Matt to turn attention away from his suspicious relationship with Eva Longoria, I think it was painfully obvious on Basketball Wives that Gloria had no desire to be within 5 feet of her long-time partner most times, let alone walk down the aisle with him.
Gloria, of course, denied Matt’s words on Twitter. “So Matt’s at it again I see… Whatever he feels like he needs to say to justify our separation is on him. Obviously his relationship with Eva is important enough to bash me. So I wish him and her nothing but the best. And will continue to focus me and out kids. Happy Thanksgiving everyone xoxo.”
These two need to go ahead and accept both their cats have been let out of the bag and stop cyber fighting. They’re starting to look like a couple of bitter, attention-seeking you know whats.
