Taraji P. Henson Raps on Mary J.’s New Single

November 23, 2011  |

We figured out Taraji P. Henson could carry a tune after she lent her vocals to “Hard Out Here for a Pimp” in the movie “Hustle & Flow,” but who knew she could rap?

I guess Mary J. Blige did because she let the actress spit a verse on her new single “Get It Right” from her new album “My Life II,” which hits stores today. I’m not a Mary J. fan but I really like this track and Taraji’s verse is pretty decent. Maybe Taraji really does have a record deal in the works.

What do you think of her verse on the new single?
